I only need to access the back of the radio to reset it, so thanks for showing me how to take the dash part off without breaking it, I appreciate the step by step " this is how to do it " tutorial, now I know exactly what to do and how to do it, it makes a hell of a difference. I found another video where the guy shows you how to reset the radio but he doesn't show you how to get the fake wood panel trim off and really that's the first thing you have to do. It's nice to have the WHOLE THING explained. Much thanks.
Oh I wish I could have told you this earlier. Same thing happened to my 2004 chrysler Sebring with speedometer going up and down while in idle. The reason behind this happening is the alternator not working properly and putting too much charge into battery leading it catch fire if continue to drive.
yeah you can do it. you need the radio, a dash kit that you can get for around 12 dollars at walmart. and a wiring harness that you can get for around 5 dollars at walmart. just look up how to wire it (its really easy) and there are four screws around the radio that hold it on. after those are out you can just pull the radio out and change it
I've got a Kenwood headunit I want to swap into my 04 Sebring Convertible. This video had horrible framerate and shook alot (which almost made me find a different one), but this did help a lot. Thanks! Why was your speedometer moving in Neutral?
how is that so? I'll give it to you that I'm bad at making videos. but I know exactly what I'm doing with wiring. that's how I rewired two cars with no problems at all and am currently working on becoming an electrician. next time maybe keep your comments to your self.

Thanks for the tutorial, friend.

Thank you! What do you recommend as the cheapest way to add an auxiliary input? Are there RCA input jacks in the back?
