The fact that immigrants come to this country and establish better lives for themselves and their families nullifies the idea of systemic oppression by a certain group. Even the most illegal cartel worker fucking mows lawns for Christ sakes

@@Billfye123 it doesn't nullify the idea of systemic oppression because those groups don't have the same history. Racial profiling disproportionately affects black people. Tony: see that's the type of thing I was trying to avoid
The fact that immigrants come to this country and establish better lives for themselves and their families nullifies the idea of systemic oppression by a certain group. Even the most illegal cartel worker fucking mows lawns for Christ sakes
The irony is they are the ones getting replaced. Most are single and childless and those genes will be gone soon. Take comfort in that if nothing else.
@@Billfye123 it doesn't nullify the idea of systemic oppression because those groups don't have the same history. Racial profiling disproportionately affects black people. Redlining and housing segregation negatively impacted black people. Slavery and not receiving reparations negatively impacted black communities. Black people and white people do drugs at the same rate, but black people are more likely to get arrested for it. Black people are also more likely to be pulled over than white people are, but the rate decreases at night because it's harder to see the driver's skin color at night.
go outside bro
You post these comments because you're totally not seething?
I think there were bigger reasons why Tony didn’t like Noah other than he was black. That kid had zero manners and was too comfortable inside a house that wasn’t his home. Even Carmella saw his lack of respect
Yes, mob boss and moll were all about respect.
Jamaal Ginsberg, the Hasidic homeboy. 😅
"A black guy... imagine that."
I’m still laughing at “those old Tarzan movies?” The writers have no right being that funny

Tony was being racist in a sense against Noah but the fact that Noah was the most dislikable person and a weird shit on the show im okay with it
Yep. That’s how good the characters were. You’ll ride with the Soprano crew no matter what. Noah can walk back his uppity Birkenstocks back to Berkeley where he belongs. LoL.
Yeah, but Noah being unlikeable really had nothing to do with him being black
@@darth856 Right. He was just a total douche lol.
@@darth856 yeah I don't get why he's made it out to be "okay" that he's racist to Noah because he's annoying. Would be more justified if Tony didn't like him because he was annoying, but that's not the point of the show, so it's not how things go. The original comment is so dumb and pretty much sides with Tony, the opposite of the shows point.
what's wrong with racism
I seem to recall Tony called a black guy "Sambo"

I wouldn' t let my daughter near any mulignane.
Shouldn't let her out on the street. Always leash your pets.
you missed a few. there's one from season 6 where Tony says that TV is shoehorning gay people. in "watching too much television" Tony complains how American taxpayer money goes to airport security and refers to 9/11. In the episode where they go to italy, in the beginning a citizen gets carjacked and blames it on black people then cuts to Tony face looking at pictures of the stolen cars. The whole Columbus episode has pretty based moments too.
"well!? Who else, huh? Who else??"
I wonder how the Italians feel now that it's been proven without a doubt that The Vikings were the first Europeans to land in America, 500 years before that uppity zip did :-D
Ironic how Tony and his crew were boosting cars throughout all seasons.
You understand the writers are making fun of the characters, not celebrating them, right?
@@JessePinkman08 I think everyone understands that. It's the typical hypocrisy that comes with the territory of being an American. Most people dislike cops, but will also fly an American flag with a blue line just to prevent cops from pulling them over more. This is a nation of hypocrites. Criminals celebrating the American dream is more of a horror story than it is a comedy.
The Jersey Racism is alive and well. Like how they portray it cause it’s pretty spot on. It’s not crazy overt but it’s there. Jersey is too crowded for us to completely be racist cause we gotta drive through each other’s neighborhoods
I don't understand when you say "each others neighbourhoods". Do you mean a fellow Americans neighbourhood?
America has been and is segregated
It’s very apparent in Jersey where neighborhoods changes are just a 5-15 mins drive
