Great video!! We chatted on IG about your DV8 inner fender liner experience. Same issue for me. Think I’ll be sending them back. Love your authentic presentation style. Will be checking out all your other vids. Awesome looking Jeep!!!
Agreed, DV8 stuff is largely crap, so it is frustrating that their inner fender liners are by far the best looking out there. I have them as well, no instructions but when you paint the mesh they really look good.
At least you avoided the mistake of a DV8 rear bumper, which are horribly constructed and actually cause damage to your tub and paint with just light use.
Great video. Pardon my ignorance on the breathers. What length braided hose. Can't imagine 20 ft per amazon link. Lol. Also did you use the oem connectors at the diff. Thanks
Yea, the 20ft was for the total roll length (better to have too much than not enough).. As far as actual lengths, I didn't measure as I was cutting. Basically, I connected one end to the OEM axle connectors (so yes to that part of your question, did re-use them), then snaked them up carefully zip tying them securely along the way. For the front, I came up to the top of the engine bay (right by the brake fluid reservoir) and inserted that plastic one-way OEM breather, and for the rear, right up behind the passenger side tail light (did the same, inserted that OEM one-way breather). Thanks!
The “ugly “ bolt in fender maybe you change for a Little led i think go to Shop and be the first in the Solution 🤷🏻♂️ iam a designer in other brand Little led One nut in back cable and its complete beautiful
@@aneiford I don't have an actual part number unfortunately. That said, it was easy enough to find it at my local AutoZone. It is just the plain black door edge trim guard (I got the biggest/longest package I could find of it and just cut to length). I also highly recommend applying a THIN bead of superglue inside the groove to help it stay adhered to the plastic better.. Over time, mine came loose in the bends of the flares, but once I applied the superglue, problem solved permanently.

Ouch!! Sorry to hear that :(

Great video! thanks for reviewing all the products.
Question. Where did you buy the fender door seal?
Thanks! If you're talking about the door edge trim around the flares, I got that at my local AutoZone.
@@Chromedonkey Would you happen to have a part number for the door edge trim that you used on the flares? Thanks!

Instablaster.
I can attest that these fender liners 10000% fit like trash. I can’t even get the rear rounded part by door to insert.
Made in China crap IMHO.. I'm done with DV8 after this experience.
