In this video I go through a full review of the new Sunsa Smart Wands to fully automate our blinds! This product is extremely innovative appearing near-OEM without any gaudy attachments that have to be mounted to the adjacent wall, giant solar panels, or messy wiring for A/C plugs.
The installation was a breeze and the product functionality was as expected. The Smart Wands don't require any additional hubs and simply connect straight to your existing wifi!
These natively work with Google Home and Amazon Alexa, but can be made to work with Apple HomeKit (my preference) by leveraging a verified Sunsa plugin for Homebridge.
Beyond lighting, window shades/blinds are my 2nd most useful thing to "make smart" in our home!
