Hello Geo. I'm Carlos from Spain. He has surprised me to see you shave with the LEA cream, since it is manufactured in my country. In fact, there are only four brands in Spain that produce products for classic shaving. These are: LEA, LA TOJA, NIVEA AND WILKINSON, but they only manufacture it in tube, stick and in a foam pot Thanks for your videos and a hug from Spain friend.

Hola, Carlos. In Spain there is a company called Epsilon which makes shaving products. I don’t know anything about them but I have seen them advertising on the web pages of Gifts & Care España. I have used a sample of their after shave and it is very nice. Un saludo.
I now own 5 razors. The futur has a special place in my heart. Many people are afraid of it or dont know how to handle it. I dare say it is my favorite. You can turn the aggressiveness down but when you need a sharp powerful mower it cant be beat. And it is so beautiful to look at.
Hey Geo, you inspired me to get into DE razor shaving a couple weeks ago and after a rough first attempt am loving the process and close shaves! Thanks from Australia!
I absolutely love the Merkür Fütür . I personally use the infamous Gillette NACET 🐊 Stainless Steel DE Blade . Makes for an incredibly smooth 3 pass BBS Shave. Take good care Geo... From *On The Road* here in Wyoming . 👍🏻
Hi Geo, another great shave. Love the Merkur Futur. Its one of the razors I have on my list to get. Cant beat the menthol felling on the face (great stuff) Take care Geo.
I agree on a feather blade getting better after a few shaves, I get the best shaves on the 3-4 shave on them. Problem for me is the first use so close and smooth but too harsh on my skin for regular use.
@@dappershaves I have not heard of those. I’m still wWorking my way through a large sample pack now. So far for me Parker blades and shark super chromes are my 1 and 2. But that could change next blade. If I see those blades when I’m getting supplies I will give them a look.
Wow! using the Futur with reckless abandon, pretty gutsy with an aggressive razor. Nice shave Geo🪒🪒 Lea cream works great, on the list. Yep, unless "corked" a Feather can be a bit rough until the second or third use, they do get better. Great video and results, thanks bro. Enjoy your week.

Hey Geo, I was looking to purchase the large shave nation alum block and I had a question, is made made from a solid block of alum or is it compressed alum? Thank you!.
Next month I'm going to be getting me one of those shaving bowls. Also have you tried the Lea hard soap? I have some of that and I have a review of it on my channel. It's pretty good stuff man I was thinking about using that for my next shave. Blessings from Texas! TCT
@@dappershaves hard soaps I face lather soft soaps I've done both ways and I prefer them in a bowl. I don't like working the lather on my face it takes too long. Hard soaps on the other hand you really don't have much of an option.
Hi Geo, LEA shaving creams and foams seem to be nice, thanks for this video. Could I ask you a favor please? I can't figure out which information is true about washing and moisturizing/protecting face, could you do a video about this? Because I recently watched a video that said facial massages help cleanse face much more than washing face, which in fact, stresses and wears face and only cleanses the upper part of it, which made a lot of sense.
very nice shave and a excellent razor always thought it was a bit bulky but using it i have no problems getting under the nose . and fully with you on that one 3 is a great place to start with a lighter growth still very effective and will take care of most whiskers 👍
Have any of you ever gotten a bad batch of shaving soap? It happened for me today with one of my favorite brands. The smell was a mix of burnt plastic and motor oil, very unpleasant to say the least. I am in the process of returning it to the reseller but was just wondering how common is this? I would like to think I just got very unlucky.

This has all been very inspiring...so much out there. I'm new to the game and prepping my first order at Shave Nation. Trying to narrow down my wish list to a couple razors to jump into for me and my boys. Henson Medium Merkur 23C Rockwell 6S Muhle R89 Merkur Futur now makes the list as well...the adjustable feature seems very nice as I'm a shaver between 1 and 4 days, so my growth with vary. Any advice? If I was going to spend overall up to $250 to get a great into into the world of Safety Razors, what would you do?
Get the Rockwell. U have some adjustments. I got the R89 for my 1st razor & don’t like it. Very mild but not like you think. Mild in that it takes tons of passes which cause irritation before you are smooth shaven. The knurling sucks and handle is hollow. Not impressed at all. I’m selling or giving mine away. The Rockwell will have superior knurling & options to cover any beard growth.
@@boostedbliss07MK5 There seems to be something to be said for looking at the price point along with manufacturing location. Good old Made in the USA for the Rockwell 6S sure makes you feel like it should be a quality piece given the Rockwell reputation.

I noticed the matte finish sometimes feels not as slick when shaving. Like there is some resistance. Also, had the same issue at the top of the lip, just under the nose.
This is a superb razor, I’d recommend the Gillette King for people starting out with this type of razor. I have a collection of DE safety razors after dabbling with cutthroat razors, you will always get a better shave with a double edge than a cutthroat unless someone else does it for you. I’d never go back to the multi blade razors they are really bad on skin.
