Working to balance the power of different colors is what separates the good from the best.
Excellent. Thanks to you and Tony,
learning a lot thanks Dave
Excellent!
Like your info. Very helpful. Thank you.
very useful!
This panel looks so overwhelming. A great video. I am still “on the fence” about the TK7. But I still watch. Thank you for a great presentation, Dave.
Richard it looks overwhelming but once you get the hang of it, it is awesome. As more and more people develop new techniques, as Dave has done in this excellent video, its uses continues to grow. I have been using Tony's TKA panel for years. When I bought them I also bought the training videos by Sean Bagshaw who has created a full set of training videos in partnership with Tony Kuyper. You can get both from Tony's web sight as a package deal. This is a great place to start because you will learn every phase of the TKAction system in detail. Just watch the videos at your speed. I watched them all the way through and then concentrated on the once I needed to process a particular image. Now it is just second nature for me and I too have recommended this to my friends and have helped train them on its uses. Good luck
@@JohnGilbert49 Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experience.
You are welcome John. Thanks for watching and hopefully you will see the benefits with the TK7 panels and actions.
Every one of your tutorials teach me something new. This tutorial solves a problem I now know how to solve. Thanks Dave!
Very interesting tutorial! Thank you for the comment about issues with TK7 and PS update!!
Hadn't thought about color balancing, and with the help of the histogram. Thanks, Dave.
Just flat out immensely helpful Dave. Thank you again.....
Nice explanation, Dave. Thanks for sharing this. One point regarding using Vibrance masks on Hue/Sat layers compared to Photoshop's Vibrance adjustment is that, as you demonstrated with the waterfall image, you still have individual color controls with Hue/Sat adjustments, and you don't get this with the Vibrance adjustment. With Photoshop's Vibrance adjustment, you can't adjust individual colors if they don't look right. However, by using a Vibrance mask on a Hue/Sat adjustment layer, the "Master" adjustment doesn't have to be the only adjustment. You can also go in and further tweak individual colors, like you did with the blue in the water. So there is additional individual color controls with Hue/Sat that aren't possible with Vibrance.
Thanks Tony for the info. You do get so much control with the vibrance masks.
Thank you Dave. Each of these tutorials you do on Tony's panels are excellent and give me both tipw and confidence in using them.
More ... again a great tutorial
Thank you for this tutorial. Appreciate the histogram tip. Thx Tony for a great tool.
Another stellar tutorial. This one was extremely useful as I had no idea this was possible. I will definitely be using this feature. Thanks Dave. Keep up the great work.
Another excellent tutorial. I've picked up quite a bit from you. Many thanks.
Thanks for this Dave. I have used this for some time, but never used the histogram as a guide. Great tip!
More "know how" to add to the TK 7 / Go knowledge base., thank you, Dave.
Loved this tutorial. Now I can finally balance colors easily and I can't wait to see how to reduce over saturated colors and get the color balance, correctly balanced. Thanks Dave.
Excellent display to how the TK7 panel can help us. Looking forward to TK8 in 3Q21, hopefully. Thanks again for educating us.
finally a clear explanation thank you dave, I may decide to use this software, rather than the color range of photoshop
Using TK7 and my panel looks nothing like this. Also, when I make adjustments, all I can see tis the mask. I have a feeling I need to start all over with setup and the basics - where can I find info on how to do that? Thanks!
