I'm working on two mods, a mod that makes Fallout 4 have an online mode (gonna take LONG)
and a mod called "Reborn" where after the ending, (all endings) you get shot by an enemy
in a custom cut scene, after, it goes back to when the player says "war, war never changes"
and everything goes normal, but when Codsworth calls you, you see the 2077 championship
on the tv, then the game goes on as if the nuke never fell! Enyway, when i'm done, I'll send you

I like coming back here from time to time with my high level character casually walking in on plain sight while raiders try to shoot me from every possible spot.
This must be what supermutants mean when they shout: 'YOU HIT LIKE A RADROACH!'
And yet if you come here on survival it's very difficult on early levels

Go in at level 150 with all health and resistance perks with a full suit of fully upgraded X-01 with the auto inject stimpacks upgrade on very easy, and let the raiders shoot at you. I did that before, and spent 22 minutes letting the raiders shoot at me.
You could narrate the worst stories, and somehow, they’d seem like Oscar winning material.

The raiders and gunners always pick the best spots to make their settlements. Factories, abandoned military installations, the tops of overpasses. All heavily fortified, easily defensible, and with only one-two access points.

Same. I made sure I have a mod that clears up some of the water somewhat (though not too clear) and went skinny dipping along Oxhorns path. Reminds me, need to find some more of those messages in bottles though rebuilding another settlement....again..

My friend that moved after he graduated college studying game designing works at bethesda now, he told me that Tower Tom, Red Tourette, and Jared are the leaders of the raider gang known as the Psychos. Just thought that was pretty interesting and somewhat relevant to the topic;
He also said that there are 12 head honcho raider bosses in the commonwealth; the aforementioned three(though there really one gang), Slag, Judge Zeller, Bosco, Cinder, Ack-Ack, Gabriel, Clutch, Cutty, and Sinjin. Apparently the rest of the named Raiders are just enforcers/lieutenants this is of course not counting the gunners, rust devils, or Nuka-Wolrd raiders. Obviously there are three gangs there with their own leader/leaders.
I had a lot of fun on my Minuteman character systematically wiping out all 12 bosses and throwing the Commonwealth Raiders into disarray. Along with the gunners :)

Wish the game mechanic actually showed that. Didn’t seem that way, when I had to clear out the same raider stronghold again and again and again after taking out the named boss the first time.

Well, after seeing Synth Shaun, the Sole Survivor doesn't really think about the possibility that Father is Shaun. I think that if the Soul Survivor hadn't seen synth Shaun before meeting Father, he/she would've recognized Father as their son.
To be fair the child synth we see first is the one we think to be Shawn. After all that is what we see in Kellog's memories so we would have no reason to think the old man we actually meet is Shawn.

Every time I have been through the plant, the two dead raiders were alive, and after killing them and the turret and looting that back corner the ghouls would crawl out from a nearby vent when I back tracked to leave.

What parts are you having issues with?
IMO part of what makes the early Fallout games great is figuring them out on your own. I can definitely understand the frustration as they are much harder than the modern games, but you can catch on quite quickly through trial and error and save scumming. Good luck, those games are classics and in my eyes will always be the best.

Lonnie's body is in the pod where you entered in the pipes. You must use a low level character to see his body or else the body will magically disappear.
Triple Penta Thats not true, its an area thing. Once you enter the cell everything spawns, but bodies dissapear after 72 in game hours
Thanks for doing the corvega plant ox!, I never got to exploring it my self but I absolutely love the look of the place! It has Such original architecture and it just looks so cool towering over Lexington. It Really catches the pre war Industrial America fallout feel
I am a little sad Ox didn't show off the fantastic views on top of the plant. You can see almost the entire Commonwealth from there. Even me who's afraid of heights finds it breathtaking.
Something to add to the plant is a bit of conversation that you can overhear when exploring the plant. It occurs in that little intersection next to the elevator. There are two raiders there that talk about any of the other raider bosses that you have killed before that point. Then one of them will walk off.

Tommy Vercetti Arcade is the only NV companion Oxhorn hasn't covered. I think it might take awhile for Oxhorn to cover him because Arcade's ending depends more on what faction you side with than any other companion in the game. That, and because you can't talk about him without talking about Ceasar.

Why do the brotherhood let you keep synth shaun? Shouldn't they be able to detect he's a synth?
Philliam Jond Nope. Synth Shaun is not among the records of Gen 3 synths that the institute kept, because he was a personal project of Father’s, and there is no way to detect whether he is a synth outside of that.

to answer your questions: yes, yes, and yes. I think Jarrod is just a kid from her former settlement. This place confused the hell out of me. Thankfully, for my troubles I got a Mahogeny Baseball Bat from the chained door room. It still sits on my shelf until i find a legendary one worth keeping to replace it.

the two dead raiders in the "lab" were always alive in my games, as well as the two ghouls who are scripted to creep out of the machinery, seems you triggered them early and they killed the two raiders.
The plant is typically one of the first dungeons to enter, and a pretty though one early on.
Lol I just stormed in there with a T-45 suit and clapped everyone with an assault rifle.

I remember the day one launch where the Corvega factory was soooo unoptimized that enemies would have to vanish mere moments after killing them. Took 6 months worth of patches for my rig to run the corvega at a consistent 60fps. Those were also the days where running wires at your settlements would cost copper.
They hat to put an arrow in the wall to try and prevent you from getting lost. I always go there first.

Woooah this brings back so many memories. This was the first game that got me into gaming besides splitscreen. I remember I was so bad even on easiest. I remember I got here and it took forever, I finally got through it then I had to go to diamond city, I remember it was dark and the ghouls were freaking me out, so I quit playing. Skip a month and a half or so and I watched a 2015 gaming wrap up video and it said if you didn't like fallout 4 you need a brain scan, so I said it must just be me, skip about 100 gameplay hours later and I loved it. But my brother replaced the ps4 with a pro and got rid of the original ps4... 😢😢😢😢😢😢 goodbye fallout 4 ill always love you....

I haven't seen it posted by anyone else here in the 6 years since this video was posted and I assume it's in one of your other videos, but there is a lore dump abou the Lexington raiders in one of the terminals near Quincy. Lonnie was a former gunner and Jared and Gristle were part of the former raider faction who were involved in the attack on Quincy and left for Lexington afterwards. Lonnie had a run-in with the former Minutemen traitor after the Quincy massacre and left with the raiders against her friend (whose terminal it was) advice.
Really a rather sad story when you get the full picture... for a heartless mercenary
First time in Corvega, as a green lil noob, for some strange reason I could not see that "BIG RED BUTTON" that extended the catwalk bridge. So I stepped out of my power armor, to climb up the forklift and jump to the walk by the floating pods. Killed Jared(Jason lol) and the boys, and looted the trunk.
On leaving, I found the "BRB" no problem. Then I was confronted by the late-spawning raider...wearing my P.A.!! Of course I didn't realise it was MY P.A. until after I'd killed him. That was the last time I ever left a fusion core in a suit.
Aaahhh ... Corvega Plant! Got sick and tired of being sent here for THE FIFTEENTH TIME by a settlement needing help, a Brotherhood scribe, or the Railroad or Ironsides or Alana Secord ...! Anytime someone sends me here, or the National Guard HQ or Faneuil Hall, I shut off the game.
My first suit of power armor in fallout 4-weak T-45 that can barely survive against a deathclaw
Oxhorn's dirst power armor in fallout 4- an X-01 jetpacking MACHINE!!!
I always head towards the corvega plant going south, I have good cover and decent sniping area where I can start climbing up the scaffolding and sniping to clear the outside then work the inside from the door next to the ramp, I clear it ok ish and then I start using a box as cover with a sub machine gun to pick off the raiders as they come up the stairs, then use the smg to clear off the turret and anything else before the line, swap back to sniper and clear the turret off and the boss and anyone else I can while staying hidden. If the sniping goes south in the line I swap to the smg and burst fire it. It’s worked great every time I’ve had to clear the plant in my current play though and is what made me use a weapon in a previous play through I brought back. Fully automatic sniper. Medium range sniper with burst and then close range with sights still because it’s just a glow reflex sight. But it may be a pipe weapon I will always carry it. It’s been reliable and trusty all this time it doesn’t matter if it’s outclassed by a lot of my other weapons. I trust it to get me out of situations when I run out of shells.

@Oxhorn, While you may generally be a bit "emo" for my taste, there can be no doubt that you are the undisputed BEST walk-through Fallout storyteller. You must spend countless hours scripting / syncing the over-dubbed audio of your in-game action (let alone planning the completion-ist play action in the first place). Great planning all around and an especially stellar execution on this video Ox. The scripting and voice acting was outstanding. 10/10
Corvega is one of my favorite low-level areas to clear as a stealth character when looking for scrap or just because I'm bored and it's such a target rich crawl. Each time, I use an entrance that I haven't used yet. Great fun. If you need a greater challenge, leave your guns at home and try to stealth-melee the whole complex using the pipe entrance.
Protip for sniping/long range sneak shots: VATS them, let it zoom in to its max, back out of VATS, and then aim.
If the NPC isn't moving your cross hairs will be directly on them
Edit: it also helps you find and enemy you didnt see. I use VATS to try and find landmines too if I feel like there are some around me or bugs on trees, house walls, etc. Stay safe out there in the wasteland, folks!
How I Play Fallout. I enter a place, I kill everything, I meet unique people, who's dialogue I skip. I loot everything, I read no terminals. I leave the area, I save, quit, and go find a UA-cam by Oxhorn explaining the place I just ransacked.
I hope you don't take this the wrong way Oxhorn, but I use your videos to help me fall asleep. Yet it's not that they're boring by any means! It's that your voice is very soothing and the content is familiar enough and interesting enough to keep my thoughts on fallout subject matter, rather than the thoughts that keep me up at night. Thus my sheer exhaustion can finally claim me, and I fall asleep. I wanted to comment about this finally to tell you thank you! You're the only channel who posts new material consistently, with long videos (it needs to be 20+ mins long or I will still be awake by the time it ends), with content I enjoy. You've really inadvertently helped me these past few months as I've struggled to sleep. (For example, it's 5am and I'm still awake. So I clicked this video to help me.) So again, thank you so much for your content and for the sheer amount of content you publish.
(PS: I watch your short videos too (the ones under 20 mins), but I watch those ones in the daytime! Proof I don't find your videos boring, or I'd be snoozing all the time! haha!)

Frustrating you cant scav sterring wheels...In fact its frustrating you cant get more from cars than just steel but i guess you can put it down to 210 years of being in the elements and other scavvers.
Hey oxhorn! When you eventually get around to covering the new creation club content, that’s if you even cover it, I have a area for you to explore when covering a certain creation that only cost 100 credits. When you get said creation, head over to “Skylanes Flight 1981 and search around the crash, you might not be disappointed if you do cover this at any point. I'm new to the fallout 4 game and when I'm having trouble with understanding what went wrong in the areas that I'm in, I turned to these videos for a better understanding. Lol
A long comment but here's why I love this game. After a very long break from gaming (read having kids) my mate was playing this game and it really fascinated me. The last game that grabbed me were the Armoured Core series. Loved that game and got all the secrets and yes even mastered the control system lol. What I noticed about my mates playing was it seemed the game offered so much more than what he was doing so I bought the PS Pro and Fallout 4. Wow. Now obviously I had a idea of the storyline from watching my mate but after a week of playing I decided to check out UA-cam and see what was what. I saw a lot of videos about how dissatisfied players where and the perk system was not as good as before. Karma was often mentioned and the settlement system was flawed. I had a hard time accepting this opinion as I saw a brilliantly made game that I could, within game limits, do whatever I wanted. What the hell are these people whinging about. It's an amazing game. The best. Well of course it is for me. I skipped the PS3. Had zero experience or expectations and still say it's brilliant. Now did I honestly connect with the looking for my lost son? No not really but I did play each encounter or situation as I would if it actually happened. I actually believe I have a good argument for keeping the Nuka World area under raider control I think. However after time I now understand some of the criticism the game has received. I don't agree with all. I like the Creation Club and support it. To me people take time to make cool skins or new gadgets and I'm happy to pay for it. That's ok. I don't get jealous that PC players get all sorts of mods. I prefer the PS4 so accept its limitations. What I really think though that has cemented my love for this's game are the guys and girls who provide videos like Oxhorn here. No one can say he hasn't played this game as in the most immersive way. He and others have opened what I consider a superb game even more so. But as Ox would say, that's my opinion. Besides, getting to romance a French voiced robot, being seduced by that accent and then going full Bladerunner with her? Yeah for that I can handle a Brahmin on the roof of my player home lol.
I was wondering that we never saw Corvega. It's one of the first big dungeons everyone goes to. The raiders in the lower room are not normally dead though. And the ghouls don't crawl out until you go back into the corner with the canisters and such. You must have gotten close enough to activate the ghouls early some how. In either case, it's not overdose or anything, you normally have to fight them. Also.. 'Throatslicer'? Seems more like that knife should be named Buttslicer. A little poke in the rear and people fall over dead. I'm thinking 'Doggone Monkeys' might make for a good future T-shirt. :)
Corvega is always one of the first places I go. It's great for early game experience. Also, killing Jared in early game, allows for some interesting terminal entries in other places in the Commonwealth. Jared is apparently well known in the raider community. I know that at least Tower Tom from Beantown Brewery and Slag from Saugus Ironworks write about his death. There might be more. Also, I always take the front door.
