I guess it's an oversight, they probably intended for the player to talk to him after meeting the hubologists or something, in my playthrough I never found cleansed until I reached the hydrant
I actually just created a Hubologist camp at the Nuka World Red Rocket. Added a bunch of rocket decor, gave everyone space suits (except three, which are: Nuka Girl, Mechanist, and Deep Sea Rescue suits), and their housing is in Vault buildings which were converted into planetary habitats. Added Drinking Buddy as their robot they intend to take with them into space. Also, everyone is equipped either with Alien pistols, or with plasma guns.
With this quest,I really got the impression that Nukaworld was not fully completed. It feels to me as if there was a lot of content that was left on the cutting room floor.
All of Fallout 4 really felt that way to me. It also felt like Bethesda was caught in a time capsule from 2008-2012. Even Far Harbor felt incomplete in some places.
I always help them out, but I don't join their little cult. Like with Bright's followers in New Vegas I think they're off their rockers, but they aren't hurting anyone except for those gullible enough to join up. Let them believe what they want if it gets them through their days. Life is hard enough as it is. So long as they don't hurt people, it's not my place or concern to interfere. And besides that, it's well worth the effort to help them out and get a legendary alien blaster and ammunition. Besides that, maybe they are on to something. I mean as crazy as it sounds and dangerous as it is the zeta radiation treatment does temporarily increase your intelligence by quite a bit. And they do have an alien blaster. I think it's more likely though that Hubble came across a crashed Zetan ship and scavenged some of their tech, then build a cult out of it. Which makes you wonder why Zetans are such terrible pilots if they keep crashing their ships into the Earth. Maybe something about the increased radiation still left over from the war interferes with their ships which causes them to crash so often.
Daniel A if you help the ghouls with the Rockets they talked about how they return to Novak but it's at the end of the game it's not that you actually see it in game
Because extorting 10's of thousands of caps from people (Cleansed has been saving caps for MONTHS for his next 'treatment') and then Dosing the FUCK out of them with radiation (the AHS-8 dose is Lethal w/out rad-x obviously.) Doesn't hurt anyone at all.
Well I mean the leader genuinely cares about her people. There is a reason why Phil's promotion is being delayed, its probably because the radiation will kill him, so she is waiting for him to get stronger first. Its not like the Zeta Wave treatment is snake oil, it DOES give a temporary intelligence boost, so it does work to an extent.

L.Ron HUBbard founder of scientology and dianetics. :D this is one of my fav quests! nice work
Love the term neurodynes, they make the -dynes seem to come from "dynamis" the root behind words like dynasty, while I see "odyne" meaning pain and the source of the medical terminology suffix -dynia.
It's a freakin Gravitron! That's hilarious.
Yeah, a Gravitron where the only thing spinning is you.
Will Barnz No...I'm pretty sure the Gravitron is spinning too! :P
An overpowered gravitron. Instead of spinning 24rpm, it goes much faster and rips all their heads off.
