Having given it a lot of thought, our political problem is all related to inequality. We are broadsided with prosperity messages, record profits, massive gains. Both the left and the right are feeling left behind. Everyone is angry at authority figures, often the opposition’s leaders, for being part of the the problem. “Make America Great Again” is one version of messaging that connects with people feeling left behind by prosperity. They feel it. But the left has it’s version as well. It is a thing that repeats itself constantly in history and often or even always leaves to some type of rebellion. But what is different now is that our elite are not in government. They are in the shadows, not fully realized by the general public. So we attack politicians, because clearly they are the reason why. The anger is spilling into many categories that are not the main issue, just version of outrage.

It's 1am at midnight, I am listening to a podcast hosted by my favorite podcaster Lex, with my favorite blogger Tim, about my favorite person, Elon, and about the exact thing, I totally relate to and excites me so so much. Let me tell you this one last time, I'm so grateful for this life.
0:48:55 List of Elon Startups from Spark to Implementation
0:51:50 Reasoning from First Principles vs Reasoning by Analogy
1:02:00 Collective Consciousness currently is steering a canoe
1:03:44 How do you steer the canoe?
1:10:42 Fear mongering
1:13:33 Sacred Scripture
1:16:30 Collective Consciousness mind is drunk at the wheel right now
1:19:10 In front of that sister you, DON'T bring up politics
I relate so much to Tim’s struggles. Tim, you are a TITAN!! Thanks for sharing
Ohh, so this is what some called "enlightenment" looks like. I bet, when some of the enlightened mind from the past also saw this and really thought about it eliminating all the noise. One of the most brain opening podcast. Great job Lex ❤️
Now here is a conversation I never knew I always wanted to listen to.
I miss this guy, I never saw this guy again since his Procrastination ted talk xD
Try his website, Wait But Why, it is awesome, smart, funny, deep.
I agree. It was an incredible conversation. Thank you
His hands are like satellites capturing radio waves from his head.
Underrated comment
Lex's love is very infectious
This guy would be an amazing teacher. His passion is infectious
some other guy also said he is a natural teacher..
The pencil problem....what an interesting concept. I never have thought about that lol
I really like his take on aliens, if they were really that advanced and super intelligent, they would have tried so many things to ensure effective communication.
Telepathy, vibrations. We just haven't decipher what their saying because we don't recognize their way of communication.
@@jla5404 I think she means that super intelligent beings would likely figured out what we can decipher and send that type of signal
I agree about the idea that they could try but would they want to? We are always fighting each other, what would we do to a completely different species.

I have a 3 hour commute and listen to audiobooks the whole time! I knock out around 1 and a half books a week (a little more than a month each year I'm not commuting). I end up with about 30ish books a year and it makes me really happy and makes the commute feel worthwhile. I've almost worked my way through Terry Pratchett's entire Discworld catalogue in less than a year (:
what's Discworld about
20:00 We would need senku from dr. Stone
Hahahahahahah
Gosh, Tim is a rational genius, i loved the whole convo....
this pod is breathtaking
The worst thing about this video is that the procrastination section is the longest. Lex should have cut it down to chunks so that we lazy people could bring ourselves to watch it.
😂....in this same video was the topic of SOCIETAL PENALTY of Free speech
The way Tim spoke about procrastinmation really hit the nail on the head with my experience. I really hope he finds a way to solve it and share with us. Great podcast Lex!
17:15 @Tim an interesting spin on this question, how long will it take to completely manufacture the iPhone 13 on Mars with current human civilisation? A serious question. I would say 20-30 years?
We would need a chip making machine, and those had problems with water shortage in Taiwan, imagine on Mars, but it could be made, then all the tech to make the chip making machine
First time hearing Tim. Wish he already had his podcast so I could subscribe. I don’t want to lose him.
What a legend! This is the guy who introduced me to Elon Musk and many other cool stuff on our planet through his blog! I enjoyed this conversation thoroughly!
Thank you so much, @Tim and @Lex. You two are like my ultimate favorite fellas in this 8 billion population.

Tim is a master in putting ideas to words.
Спасибо, Лекс! Блог Тима очень вдохновляет

tim is a great communcator
can you describe the traits that made you conclude this ..
Okay well this is kinda spooky, Few months ago I was wondering what other guests I would absolutely love to see in this podcast with lex and three names popped in my head..
Mark Zuckerberg, Tim Urban and Hank Green
Then few days ago read your tweet about podcast planned with Zuckerberg
And now saw the notification for this one
Absolutely delighted!
And now looking forward to one with Hank Green too 😁
I would love an episode with Hank Green
I love how engaging Tim is and how much palpable energy & enthusiasm can be felt between them as they bounce ideas off one another. I also can’t help but appreciate how Tim takes complex concepts and breaks them down into more easily digestible components which makes it feel more conversational & relatable. They’re both brilliant but remain humble. What a treat to be a fly on the wall for such a fascinating conversation. Lex, thank you for allowing us to be part of your world & for inviting such spectacular guests to your platform. I’ll forever be grateful for everything I’ve learned, and continue to learn, from your channel. Thank you for all that you do!
