Lenny saying that he likes how people minds work reminds me of him talking about some string theory aspects in one of his lectures stating, ‘I don’t necessarily think that way anymore’
what do you mean, he doesn't believe string theory anymore？
It was a 2 and a half hour lecture and went many places, It wasn’t string theory as a whole but one little aspect within the lecture.

Two great physicists/teachers/authors. Greene’s books have changed my life and Susskind has some thrilling lectures, as well as a great book “The black hole wars”. Both men are at the top of their game and are famous for good reason.

We need more brilliant individuals on our planet. Are Chinese involved in string theory and quantitive physics? China has more geniuses than any country based on the quantity of people in China. The more working together the better.

Amazing work Brian and leonard. And most importantly awesome work to world science festival. I love watching anyone at the top of their respective craft and you guys are, could tell it was a little unscripted which in my opinion makes it better but it's still a top-notch program good for you guys.
All interviews are unscripted as far as ive ever known. They have a list of bullet points that they will talk about but ive never known any interview be scripted. Far too time consuming to learn & no guest would ever do it.

A wonderful dialogue between two wonderful physicists in a wonderful series.
There are too many comments to read through and see if anyone else already mentioned this: If you are watching with subtitles, be aware that, besides the usual misspellings of proper names, "brains" are really "branes" -- sort of like membranes, but membranes are two-dimensional and branes can have various dimensions.
1:15:30 Before Brian even finishes his statement about Einstein often being considered an old fogey, with dinosaur-like resistance to the counterintuitive conclusions of quantum physics (of which he himself was a co-founder), *_Leonard is shaking his head_* ...as if to say, "NO, NO, NO...Einstein was onto something there..." It is gratifying to see real physicists who demonstrably have a deep understanding of the universe recognize that Einstein knew that quantum mechanics has some unresolved inconsistencies.
I have taken Prof. Susskind's graduate seminar on black holes. It was brilliant, and crystal clear. No one can accuse me of being a Leonard Susskind admirer and get away unrewarded, but when I saw that simple action of shaking his head, my respect for him (already stratospheric) hit escape velocity and went orbital. He know whose shoulders he's standing on, and it speaks volumes about his perspective.
The internet in general and UA-cam in particular has no shortage of smart-ayusses who deprecate and disrespect Einstein. But real physicists like Brian Greene and Leonard Susskind know what he did, and rightly stand in awe of his achievements.
Suggestion: Just keep chatting with Lenny until the end of time. Thanks!

Negative! Sagan had an engaging way of lecturing. BG is super smart, but his awkward pauses are hard to listen to.
Brian Greene is Brian Green, Carl Sagan is Carl Sagan. They are both great. There’s no need for this.

Brian and Carl are different. Carl was a groundbreaker. In the pre-video media age, nothing like Cosmos had ever been done before. Brian is a super smart guy and his format, often panel discussions, is quite unique. In the end though, Brian's delivery tends to distract me from the content.
