Just got mine! I cane back to look at this video. I am still learning it. But i must say i can tell this is a winner ! Now all i have to do is find some gold. Thank you again for this great video.
A great amount of information on the machine Warren and you make it easy to understand which is one thing that stands out to me, no technical jargon that is all mumbo jumbo to me lol. I look forward to seeing what you have to show and tell us next, and to watching you detect some gold with it. Good luck and happy fossicking my friend God bless you and Colleen love and hugs Mary-Ellen UK
Thst was the best informational video ive ever seen. I used a few detectors over 40 years and i own the at max. It highly sensitive but i find it targets a bit scratchy sounding and irritating at times. I do think its a great machine that could do well and in most cases. Gravel and salt water with black sand is a challenge. This machine is a winner. Thanks for taking the time to review this machine. Happy hunting! Should i say mate? I gave you a thumbs up and subscribed.
At 10:55 into this great video, with your new signals after recovering the nugget, you should use either the Pocket or Prospector model of the Gold-Claw Pans. Against 15 minutes with a regular pan your efficiency will be increased by 45 times. Yeah it's that fast, my friend! Love 💘 to Australia 🇦🇺❤.
Excellent video. I am ordering my goldmaster today. They recommended that i watch some videos on it. So i subscribed to you. I think i have some hot spots near me here in the U.S. so ill see what i can do. Looking forward to some prospecting. Thank you.
Really nice informative video. I especially liked your burying the nugget to simulate an actual dig. Curious that the audio was solid but you got a bounce on low and high numbers on the TID. Is this a common trait of the detector that one should be aware of? Bill
Great video Warren, I watched your tutorials on this machine so many times to Learn thanks, but i was wondering why you didnt make any Videos of you actually using this machine in the fields apart from the Axiom, you've made alot of videos on the Axiom but not the Garrett gm24k, are you not using this Machine anymore?
Great educational video on the Garrett/Whites machine. I bet you never thought these two companies would come together. I have the Whites version. Do you know if the Garrett/Whites coil you have on your machine will fit the Whites version.
Thanks for commenting Wayne, I couldn't say for sure but the Garrett version appears identical, even uses the Whites mouldings. The coil plug isn't a Garrett connection so I would suggest the Garrett coil will plug straight into your Whites machine. Cheers mate. Warren.
Thanks for your reply on the last vid Warren, I love my ATX, ( though I'd like an exoskeleton for long periods of use especially swinging the 15x20 ) but for little sub gramers I bought myself a GM1000 cause my original Gold Bug had carked it, how does the goldmaster compare for the subs
Thanks for commenting Jacques, the 24K is very good on the tiny sub-grammers, and runs very quietly in highly mineralised soils - the auto ground track and ground balance are great features which allow for a very smooth threshold. I haven't run it alongside a GM1000 so couldn't comment on a comparison. Happy Fossicking! Warren.
@@NQExplorers Hey mate, just as an update on that question of mine, I searched around on youtube and someone had done the comparison between the both and might I say, in a freshly dug & filled test hole @ 4.5 inches the 24k whites with the standard coil left the GM for dead, like dead in the water. The other question is the whites had a small round coil avail for it, I've looked on the Garrett website and it doesn't mention a coil option, will Garrett rebrand the whites small coil and offer it. Thanks mate and keep the vids coming
@@jacquesjackcoomans2295 Doesn't surprise me with the GM. This 24K is outstanding and runs so quiet, threshold variations are easily heard. Yes Whites had that small concentric coil, more than likely Garrett will produce that shortly to complete the package. Cheers. Warren.
Well there u go Garret with a new machine cool Yes a VDI is very handy rather than the ears Nice and light too for the ladies and kids also Nice vid Warren cheers 🍻 mate CrouchOz
You do know that this detector responds differently on soils in the USA compared to Austraian soils. Also your beep tone will give you more depth. Setting the iron discriminate to 30 over here keeps away most iron targets but doesn't decrease depth on gold.
Warren how would this Garrett compare to a Minelab gpx 5000? I'm wondering if Minelab is kind of like paying for the name or if they are a worth while investment if i was to get fairly serious about it? I've been told a GPZ 7000 is good but it's big coin. The Garrett very reasonable on the other hand. Cheers Dave.
Thanks for commenting Dave, the Goldmaster is a VLF machine, whereas the Minelab machines you speak of are Pulse Induction. Hence the great difference in price. This machine is top shelf VLF and very good, if you want to go the way of PI though, it will cost you a lot more money from any manufacture (the Garrett ATX for example). Hope this helps mate, Happy Fossicking! Warren.
Thanks for commenting Darryl. The AT Pro is not a prospecting machine, operates at 15kHz and is more calibrated to the middle of the conductivity spectrum. AT Gold is at 18kHz but the new Goldmaster is much more powerful and operates at 48kHz - much more sensitive to small gold. It has an automatic Ground Balance and tracking system, plus an adjustable threshold recovery, so it has many more features, specific to prospecting, than the older Garrett machines. Cheers mate. Warren.
Thanks for commenting Brian, as a long time Infinium user, the Goldmaster is much more sensitive on small gold (as with any VLF). Infinium being pulse would be quieter in very high mineralisation but you would need to run it with the smallest coil to compare with the sensitivity of the Goldmaster 24K. Cheers mate and Happy Fossicking! Warren.
Yes you could Robert, Threshold is a very personal setting and many prospectors reduce it to minimum. No hitting small nuggets even with a minimal threshold. Happy Fossicking mate! Warren.
Thanks for watching. Whites Electronics no longer makes metal detectors, the company was purchased by Garrett and this is the first of the Whites machines released under a Garrett branding. Happy Fossicking! Warren.
I just bought a G24K. Watched your video to learn how to set it up. Thanks for the video. I can't wait to get out and try mine out

Great start up/set up video Warren. Looks like the 24K will be a great and easy to use gold machine. Cheers! :)

Can use this for coin and relic hunting too
Great info fam. Keep up the great work fam. Gold squad out!!!

how depth in ground goldmaster can detect gold

Quiero saber el precio del garret goldmaster 24k.por favor.
How does this machine bary from a Pro, Gold or other Garrett machines mate? Why would I buy a rebadged Whites detector?

Anyone compelled to compare Garrett infinium ls to Garrett 24k? Pi to vlf.

@@NQExplorers I could image should be very interesting to have both vlf 24k and infinium ls when you get to a gold patch.
Por qué no lo actualizaron con batería de ion litio. Sólo cambiaron el color respecto al modelo de Whites.
Thank you great video. Happy hunting.🇭🇺☝️
Could you turn the threshold down to where yo could barley here it and still pick up a small nugget.
Yes you could Robert, Threshold is a very personal setting and many prospectors reduce it to minimum. No hitting small nuggets even with a minimal threshold. Happy Fossicking mate! Warren.
Hi
Is this waterproof?
Why it makes a lot of noise????
Couldn't you just manual ajust and use ground sync or ground grab.
hello, let me ask you, what does whites elektonics have to do with this detector???
Thanks for watching. Whites Electronics no longer makes metal detectors, the company was purchased by Garrett and this is the first of the Whites machines released under a Garrett branding. Happy Fossicking! Warren.
So Garrett bought out Whites obviously. I have a Whites GoldMaster 24k. Exactly the same detector.
