Hi. LIKE. LIKE. SCENERIES. CAMPING. LANDSCAPE. VIDEO.
“What if I open the door and they’re just stood there” 😂😂😂
I’ve watched a few of your vids and you do a pretty good job mate, they’re enjoyable to watch.
Cheers for sticking with me, the winter camps will be interesting 🥶 have a good one 🍀
I know those mountains well. Cush is no joke with a tent and camera on your back. Fair play, great video Jason.
Thanks a mill 👍
That sounded like an advert for one those '..found footage..' movies like The Blair Witch, lol.
I must be mad yoke to bring me aul hurley as walking shtick to lump the aul tarp up asa tent she's a good self defence shtick as well I'm always two pucs ahead great video shamm 😂
It’s so weird, says the guy on the same mountain on a Thursday night😂 great stuff as always Jason
🤣😂 love it, they were probably saying the same thing
That tent looked eerily similar to the Cloud Up 2... which has been my new go to tent this year (thanks to you Jason who turned me on to Summit or Nothing channel via a comment). Wife gives me dirty looks whenever I start talking about tents, she's quite convinced I have plenty at this point, hopefully can get her to come around one day.
It's very similar to the cloud up which is possibly why I like it so much. This was filmed a few weeks ago and I've since had more back issues so I will probably have to sell this on unfortunately.
Purely because I have lighter tents, that doesn't mean that I won't be getting any new tents though 😄
When you have a nice collection of tents, getting a new one past the wife becomes a fine art. A skill not many can master, best of luck in your endeavours my friend 😄🍀
@@RamblingOn LOL. Best UA-cam comment ever. Had to mention to the wife and she says it's lucky you live in Ireland since you're apparently a "bad influence" LOL
Another great video. Really enjoyable and beautiful shots.
Isn't it amazing....you could go to the most isolated part of the Arctic Circle and there would be some bo**ox walking around annoying you!!!
🤣 I'm looking forward to the winter already, usually the cold wet weather gives me the place to myself 🤣
Definitely not a shambles - you and your tent survived 🙂 Lovely sights looking out at the night and morning sky with mostly no one around! I'd say the other pair got a fright to see your tent too. A spacious 2 person tent (for 1) with decent weight....well worth the luxury! 😉 Loved the shots of the water, sheep wool and bog cotton too!
They had a good night for the hike. They had probably watched the sunset from the summit of Galtymore. It's not the quickest tent to pitch, hardly worth it for 4 hours sleep 😄 Hopefully the next camp is a good one, the longer night and therefore longer sleep will be appreciated 😁
Jason, worth the extra work to catch the light from the sun going down. The old rucsac makes a great windbreak for cooking (most of the time)👍 A cool camp spot beside the lough, with at least some shelter from that steady wind. Night hiking is definitely a thing and I know a few people that do it in the Galtees, though I would find it a bit disconcerting to have voices outside the tent late at night😊
I genuinely thought that I was hearing things at first 😄 I'm delighted that I put in the extra effort to hike back up for the sunset and sunrise. There was no escaping that wind, once I got to the top of Cush that was it. Down by the Lough wasn't as bad but I barely spent any time down there 😄
Another really nice video. Thanks Jason
Playing catch up here on all the videos I've missed, but this was a fun one. Was out camping a few weekends ago and realised that even without bringing a camera along to video it, I tend to talk to myself the whole time, especially when I'm worried about something.
I reckon that is a natural thing to do. I often find myself have a great chat with myself especially if I've something that I need to figure out . We all do it to some extent 😄
😂 I had visions of you doing the camera shots on your way back to the tent at night and spending your time trying to find the camera again. Beautiful place for a camp.
That only happened once 🤣 ''Where The fu... oh there it is''
Cracking video as always mate, thank you!
Great video, love watching. Spooky night. ❤❤
That was a nice bit of fresh air & views, regardless if not quite to plan...!😄 Great watch again, liked the tent, what's chances of people turning up there at that time...!?😯🤔🤣Look forward to Ur next trip... Best wishes...👍
😄 I genuinely thought I was hearing things but I'm sure stranger things have happened 🍀
Great video. I love the scenes where you know you have to backtrack for the camera. That’s dedication! Hard to find anywhere on the island you won’t run into anybody. Keep her lit!
Those are the times that I question my life choices 😄
Great little adventurette..particularly like the little filming nuances, like sheeps wool snagged on the fence, blowing in the wind and the water lapping on the edge of the lake, to name just a couple. Brilliant film making Jason!
Seems a nice "little" tent..though you didn't say what it weighs!? Think I'd switch out the reflective guy lines and make it a little more stealthy, for wild camping!? What are your thoughts?
Great little video though, looking forward to the next one you make!
Take care Jason 😊
Cheers Tim, I think it's minimum weight is 1.5kg. I was amazed at how reflective they were, for a tent that blends in so well. Once the light hit those guy lines it just lit up. It might be no harm to swap them out, I doubt that I'll be doing that though. Usually I'm out in bad weather and never see anyone 😂
This nigh time adventure was so cool :D
Lovely location and no rain Jason 👍😂 Stunning mate👍
😄 finally I got some decent weather 🙌
Another great video. Keep up the good work!!
Great video as always, keep up the good work
Great video - though i would have preferred more of that rippling water., I'd have completely bottled it if i was disturbed at night while camping in such a remote area.
I love camping beside water, it's so nice listening to it. All I can say is that I am happy that they went on their merry way 😄
Another mighty video! Wonder if the two lads were in Galtees walking club? Interesting. Will you do a review of the new tent soon? Have you sold on the stratosphere bivvy?
It's quite possible that they were from the walking club to be fair. I'm not sure, I have a first look video recorded but I'm really gone off doing reviews. I still have the Stratosphere, love that little bivy 🙌
Hi. A lovely spot for an overnighter and a nice video.
You have probably mentioned it before in previous videos, but what is the backpack you were using?
Regards, Wadirunner.
It was the Atom packs MO 50, it's new to me but I've loved using it so far and I think that it looks class 😄
@RamblingOn I'd be interested to see you do a review of this pack in a video. I've seen a couple of other UA-cam channel creators use this bag and they've all had good things to say about it...
Bit hard to get hold of though...
Regards, Wadirunner
Me and me mate were up cush one Thursday night getting rid of a body!! And some fecking egit was there in a tent😂like really on a bloody Thursday night like what the hell !!!!!!!
😄jaysus you don't half make life hard for yourself. I suppose no one would think of looking at the top of a mountain for a buried body so fair play
beware of the snakes
@RamblingOn Have you given up on the Durston Xmid Solid or are you just always testing new tents? Love your content so far and bought me the Durston Solid based on your previous videos. Liked and subscribed. Cheers
Jaysus no, I love me Xmid. If I had to sell every tent I own and just keep one, I would keep the Xmid. I just like trying out new tents but I'm going to change things up going forward, focus on getting out and about instead of doing reviews. Cheers for the support, I hope the Xmid serves you well 🍀🙌
The scenery looks great, but I still don't like the overprices dehydrated meals. All the best.
I don't buy my meals, I have a dehydrator and make my own. It's much better and cheaper than the store bought ones in my opinion
Amazing as always👍 thanks for doing all the hard work!! Just a word of caution😂 not sure I would trust a 2-3 season tent up in the mountains in winter, but can’t wait to see the video 😂😂😂
😂 Neither can I, I'll quite possibly have a different opinion on it afterwards 😄
Nice bag,is that an atom backpack?
Yep that's the MO 50, love it so far
Big fan of the channel but not really loving the new jump cut editing approach. Seems pretty frantic.
I just do my best and use different editing techniques to make the most of the clips that I manage to capture.
I have yet to edit a video that I have been completely happy with 😄
Hmm? I didn't notice lol
@RamblingOn I like the edit and can appreciate the effort put into it, whiling filming and in post. Can't please everyone, so please yourself.
