Nicely presented..my ranking would be the same..Patek next? I know that some models are even more difficult to get than Rolex, but with your spend history, if your AD also sell Patek you should be ok..
Thank you Giovan, I don’t know if I will go down the PP or AP road. Not that I don’t love the watches, but I do feel self conscious about wearing a really expensive watch. I was offered the platinum Rolex Daytona last year but turned it down because I just wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing a $80,000USD+ watch.
@@DougsPerspective Totally understand. It must have been difficult though to turn down the platinum Daytona ..would consider the Oysterflex model though in white or yellow gold..it’s super comfortable on..
Nice collection.. i noticed u didnt bring any of them on ur europe trip.. u only wore the swatch at cannes which u bought there.. i guess u were worried abt all the criminals targeting watches... u dont have a specific travel watch? I think the tag, no one would bother with that...
Yes, you are correct - generally, I do not travel with (hard to replace and expensive) watches. On that trip I took my TH Monaco and then we purchased and wore out MoonSwatches. On my last trip, I took my Omega SMP with black rubber strap - it was the perfect travel watch because it doesn't attract too much attention.
Hi Mike, I had a carry on bag that had enough room so it would not destroy them. So they came back intact and we didn’t have to fold them or flatten them.
@@DougsPerspective ahh thanks , I want to get one when I travel as well as a cool momento but now I was thinking how the heck will I get the box back without squishing it. I would need a carry on.
Another great video Doug, thanks for sharing. My top 3 would be your Starbucks, Daytona & Batman, in that order. Sorry to hear about your Dad & all the best.
Hi Ian! Thank you so much for your comment and ramming. It’s funny, I’ve been wearing the Starbucks the last few days and right now I feel like it could be my one and only. Of course, whatever I wear next I’ll probably change to that being my favorite. 😂
Nice video Doug. Sorry to hear about your dad; it’s lovely that you connect your GMT-Master 2 with him. I think all your watches are great and suit you well. The Grand Seiko and Santos are cool watches I’d love to own. Good variety. Can tell you are a true WIS.
So Tag, Datejust, Batman, and the 4th watch was a Daytona ?. You spent money on 3 watches before the Daytona ? ... I'm just curious how much I got to spend before the Daytona ... Thanks
Hi Sammy, yes that is correct. I know my “ Daytona story “ is not normal and happened much sooner than most. I received my Daytona 58 days after my first request. Of course, it normally takes several years, but I was very lucky. I hope you get yours soon!
Thanks Joseph! The GM2100 is a sweet watch! My girlfriend has the green one which is also stunning. I show them both here (hope it helps): ua-cam.com/video/EAKGsjVJvDs/v-deo.html
Hi Diego, I actually think the Bluesy is the most beautiful sport Rolex available. Having said that, I would still take the Starbucks if I could only have one. The reasoning is that a SS Submariner is (IMO) the best single watch one can have - the two tone (while more beautiful and striking) is not as versatile. Thanks for your question :)
@@DougsPerspective thank you very much Doug for your quickly answer. Yeah, its beautiful but to flashy to thieves. I don't know what yo do... Bluesy or Starbucks or Rootbeer or Sprite.... 😔 Thank you
I see you trimmed off a couple of nice pieces you had? Anyways nice collection Doug, good to see an all American man into watches, btw never sell Rolex or Cartier imo. Nice vacation hope to see more getaway adventures soon!
Doug, Beautiful selection of watches: I miss the Datejust that you had and the omega! Rankings: 1. Batman: absolute dream watch for me. Maybe someday I’ll get it: 2. Daytona 3. Submariner: I would love to see you get a Bluey sub! That thing is amazing
Hi Aaron, I miss that DJ41 too - unfortunately I was robbed of it. And interestingly, I am missing the Omega so much that I may get another. I am thinking black on rubber.
Thanks for your comment Vman! I would love to get a day date sometime … probably in the next 3 years for that piece. I’m thinking when I retire it would be a perfect watch. 🙌
I dont agree. And its state of collection which was shown, its suppose to be shown. And its cool to see the watches shown more in dynamic way instead sitting indoors in your bedroom, which would be your prefered way to suits your expectactions as not showing off 👋
Best presentation of a watch collection on UA-cam I’ve seen so far! Well done! 👍
Thank you so much Claus for your nice comment! I’ve really appreciate you!
Beautiful collection. Terrific video. Thank you for sharing Doug.
Thank you Ziad for your nice comments … I appreciate it! 😊

Thank you Greg!
That Daytona looks great on you mate. Really like it with the black dial. Very tempting 👍🏼
It is calling you Michael! 😁
Awesome collection

Amazing video and a great collection, my favorite is the batman its so beautiful
Hi Medigazzaz1, thank you for your comment. I agree, the Batman is a very special piece!

no more SMP Doug?...it looked great on your wrist...
Hi Kevin, I have a new SMP that I purchased after this video. Here is the new one ua-cam.com/video/3rnKbclHDiQ/v-deo.htmlsi=oJpPoVaysGFgqhia
@@DougsPerspective very nice too Doug.!..looks like a real beauty..keep up the amazing content!
Great collection and video 👏
Thank you so much David!
No Omegas SMP 300? 😢
Hi Marek, yes I have a black SMP, however, I did not own it at the time of this video. 😉
OMG! What a collection! Lucky you! 😃
Thanks Smola! I have a new one coming in 4 days. I’ll create a video on it and I hope you will enjoy it. Hint: James Bond 😎
@@DougsPerspective There were many watches. Submariner or Seamaster seem to be too easy to guess. Let’s say Hamilton Pulsar P2 😂

Cool Collection !
Thank you Marc!
Nice video Doug. I always enjoy seeing the Batman in your videos. That would probably be my number 1 pick. Cheers.
Thanks Sergio! 😁
Absolutely loved the videos and I’ve watched a few of your videos and think you do an awesome job. I now really want to get the Casio gm5600-1😅😂
Thanks Nathan! 🙂
Great collection review Doug 👏
Thank you Mark! 😁
How did you bring back your moonswatch boxes back from Europe ? Did they get bent in your luggage or did you fold them up somehow ?
Hi Mike, I had a carry on bag that had enough room so it would not destroy them. So they came back intact and we didn’t have to fold them or flatten them.

Very nice collection! What size is your wrist?
Which one wears bigger? Daytona or Batman?
Thanks Neil! My wrist size is 7.25" / 184mm. The Batman wears larger than the Daytona. I hope you are well and wish you a great day!

Hi Doug, what happened to your Datejust 41 on oyster bracelet?
Hi Adam! Thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, I was robbed … and the DJ41 was taken. How I wish it was still a part of my collection. 😢
