Oh my goodness, Seiko and Grand Seiko are continuing to innovate and achieve extreme accuracy - how are the Swiss doing at the moment? Have there been any recent innovations from them? It is incredible to see just how much GS are moving forward in the world of Horology. Hats off to you Seiko.

I have never been overwhelmed by a watch brand's offerings, but GS has stopped me in my tracks. GS is what I now wish to secure as a key component of my last will and testament. GS is everything an inheritance needs, as it represents the epitome of perfection and would easily inspire the virtues represented by a GS watch, for generations to come. Anyone who's been alive in the last year has to admit - no matter what the bias or brand loyalty - that Grand Seiko have accomplished the unthinkable; namely, that GS stands for the unattainable epitome of quality, attention to detail, and true craftsmanship. The horological community can practically real off every aspect of a GS that qualifies it as being in a spectrum of quality all on its own. I'd go as far as saying that there is the GS and then there are other watches.

Its wind-packed late winter snow dial, animated lumed bezel, and uncommon 9r16 spring drive (10 seconds per month) are among the qualities that make this commemorative edition of 1,500 special. If I buy another watch over $2K, it will be a GS and nothing else.
@poopfeast420 Hah! Good one. One of the more legible dials of my 30-watch collection. The hand-finish of hands and indices makes the time legible even at night after the long-lasting lume expires. That's another characteristic of GS that sets it apart from Rolex et al.

I absolutely love the Tentagraph. It's a chronograph with no equal. That being said, I feel like it should be marketed as such. Perhaps a sponsorship with Toyota's WEC cars. How cool would it be to see Grand Seiko in Le Mans!
I'm always amazed by how well dressed Japanese and Korean executives are, they're better dressers than Italians, just like the best tailors in the world now come from Japan and Korea, the craftsmanship, the attention to detail, unreal.
Grand Seiko is in the process of doing what Lexus did to Mercedes and BMW! By the way, I will only drive a Lexus and am looking to buy my first Grand Seiko!
The facility is amazing it’s very open . So much precision !!the view is amazing best location for any manufacturer. GS is very similar to Lexus I wouldn’t be surprised if Lexus GS (Grand Sedan) actually means Grand Seik
