I’ve got a no date sub and am looking for a second watch. Does the 39MM white dial OP fit for a dressy/weekend watch? The white Daytona is a grail but I can’t pull the trigger on that one just yet.
Personally I’d consider the white dial sportier, but presumably dressier than a Sub. It really depends on how dressy you want it to be. In the end it’s still a steel oyster bracelet watch and will be less dressy than a million other options on a leather strap. Still a nice watch though!
Great video! What about someone that adds a diamond bezel instead of the fluted bezel on the datejust or day date? Is that very rare for a guy to do and more popular for women’s watches?
Hey Charlie, I'm just wondering what would be a good watch going into college. Could you help me with narrowing down the options? I am thinking of either the explorer 2, black sub, or a dayjust smooth bezel with an oyster bracelet.

Hi Charlie. Can you comment on good choices for the modern woman who is tall and has 7inch or greater wrist and what are some suggestions for great watches.
Hi Lisa, Some great choices for Ladies watches these days are the Daytona range, slightly larger than the typical Ladies watch however they are becoming more and more popular as a Unisex watch 👍
Maybe an idea for a future video, but it would be cool to do a video where you try on different models and dials to see how they look on camera. The Pikachu always looks great, but other model and dial variations would be cool to see as well
So pretty much everyone that buys any of them is doing pretty well in life. Lol. I have the datejust w smooth bezel (but I also have a wg fluted bezel if I wanna switch out for more classy look.) and a day date. The datejust is def the more everyday pending if I'm wearing wg chain. And the day date is when I'm wearing my yg chain more on dressy occasions. I wear the datejust also if I'm driving the cayanne turbo. Then the daydate when driving the 911 turbo.
@@thehonestwatchdealer sorry to ask a followup, but I am considering purchasing the mustard or a bluesey, they are similar in price locally, and I will def be wearing it. Charlie, great video! I have the wrist for a deep sea and pursuing one. Can you share the key differences between to 126660 and the new 136660 both in black
Thanks so much for your insight. I'm looking to buy my first Rolex as a daily wear and I'm deciding between a smooth Datejust with jubilee or oyster bracelet. Your assumption is a perfect match! Question though - does the Jubilee offer a wider range of bracelet fitment sizes due to the smaller link length? The only bad thing about my old Seamaster is the lack of micro adjust which is hell when my wrist swells, so I want my next watch to be comfortable.

It might be an ok fit, the best thing to do would be to try it on if you can before pulling the trigger 👌
Great video! Could you touch on the Milgauss? Would love to have that as a first watch
Thankyou mate! Appreciate it - I’ll try and include that on the next one 🙌
Saw what about me, I have an Explorer, Submariner Date, SS Daytona, Milgauss green crystal and a Batman GMT?
Oh wow, such a great and varied collection! You definitely know your watches 👌🏻
Really interesting.
This watches channel keep on going better days after days.
Thank you so much mate, really appreciate that! 🙏
what about the (in my opinion supirior) Milgauss 116400? (i prefer the white dial, and then id gor for the black. Z-Blue just isnt it for me)
I’m going to cover the Milgauss in the next video of this one 👌🏻
@@thehonestwatchdealer Thanks!
Absolutely love your channel 🙏 i only like 1 rolex - the black dial explorer 2. My wife has 3 watches - 2 date justs and 1 oyster
Thank you mate really appreciate it! All great models, have a great collection between you 🙏
in your opinion what does a 36 day date in white gold, oyster bracelet with smooth dial say about the person wearing it?
Ah I will try and include that on the next one 😉
you can just let me know personally @@thehonestwatchdealer
What do you think about the sprite?
Such a fantastic model, great ones to go for!
Hi Charlie. Can you comment on good choices for the modern woman who is tall and has 7inch or greater wrist and what are some suggestions for great watches.
Hi Lisa,
Some great choices for Ladies watches these days are the Daytona range, slightly larger than the typical Ladies watch however they are becoming more and more popular as a Unisex watch 👍
Maybe an idea for a future video, but it would be cool to do a video where you try on different models and dials to see how they look on camera. The Pikachu always looks great, but other model and dial variations would be cool to see as well
Hi Aaron, a great idea, I’ll see what I can do 👌🏻
Loved it! My 1st Rolex was an explorer 2 42mm and now I just got a Batman! 💙
Congratulations! Both stunning models 👌🏻
Thank you mate, I really appreciate your professional and informative videos. Well done Charlie!
Thank you mate really appreciate that! So glad you like them 🙏
What about the sprite and the twotone/full gold GMT's?
I’ll try and include those great models in the next one! 🙏
I like your UA-cam sugestióna and content but when Ineied to contact appears invalid

Love your channel mate. Great video! Thank you for creating wonderful content.
Thank you mate I really appreciate that! So glad you like the content! 🙏
Do you accept crypto as a payment method? And do you sell new/unworn Rolex’s?
excellent video!! What are your thoughts on the ROLEX GMT Master-II 16713 Brown (mustard)?
Thank you mate I appreciate that - very nice watch and rather rare these days! 👌
@@thehonestwatchdealer sorry to ask a followup, but I am considering purchasing the mustard or a bluesey, they are similar in price locally, and I will def be wearing it. Which do you think holds the better long term investment potential? Thank you again for all your videos, I have learned so much from them.
So the GMT would be more of a collectors piece, and a new Bluesy would be one for wearing. If it is to wear, which ever you will enjoy the most will be the best to go for 👌@@jonathandavidmonroepelosi2716
Wow, I love that white gold, blue bezel, black dial submariner. I have a 2001 Explorer II and a Daytona, that I think I bought in 1995. How are difficult is to find that Submariner?
These ones should be relatively easy to get from the AD, though being so underlist would be best to pick up on the grey market 👍
@@thehonestwatchdealer Thanks
How would you rank the Ghost, Paul Newman and Fisheyes/Pikachu? All oysterflex of course
Oh very tough choice.
Pikachu, Ghost/Paul Newman.
All great models and down to personal taste!
@@thehonestwatchdealer awesome ranking - guess I need to add the pikachu soon!
Really enjoyed that Charlie, great selection of watchs hulk for me.
Great choice mate, the Hulk is such an iconic model 👌🏻💯
Great information. I think you’re spot on in your client assessment.
Thank you Robert, really appreciate it, thank you for watching 👍
You didnt mention the Yacht master II steel, one of the most beautiful and under rated rolex
Such a stunning model isn’t it, I’ll try and cover this in the next one! 🙏
I have a 36 Datejust olive dial perpetual steel and gold love it. ❤❤❤❤❤ true I’m a professional
Congratulations, really stunning combination - enjoy it!! 🙌
Charlie, great video! I have the wrist for a deep sea and pursuing one. Can you share the key differences between to 126660 and the new 136660 both in black
Thanks mate I appreciate it! Great choice to go for, I’ll see if I can do a comparison video sometime soon 👍
AR coating on the 136660 underside, no divers extension, chamfered crystal, bezel a tad thinner, that’s it . Got one 😊
i have a breitling avenger limited and a tudor black bay, but i feel like that is not well enough for myself. i will try a rolex soon.
You’ve got two great watches in your collection mate! A Rolex would make a fantastic addition, good luck with your purchase 🙌🏻
@@thehonestwatchdealer thanks mate
Ahh at 2:37 you described my mum perfectly🤣
haha good to know! 😆
My son has gifted me Sky dweller steel on my 70th birthday. A dream come true.
Congratulations that’s fantastic! And happy birthday 🎉
hey! what would you recommend for a young business owner? around 9-15k for a first rolex
Something like a Submariner would be a great starting point for your first Rolex. Can't beat the flagship model 👌
@@thehonestwatchdealer thoughts a on gmt2 two tone gold jubilee? really liking the mix between sportiness and class.
My fav is ym40 slate. May i know who buys it
Such a stunning model mate, you have great taste! 🙌
Outstanding well done Charlie great video as usual mate speak soon 👍🏻💥💥
Thank you Paul! Hope you are well mate, speak to you soon! 👌🏻🙌
Great video! Great demographic breakdown. You forgot the James Cameron DSD.
Thanks for watch, so pleased you liked it!
I’ll try get it in the next one! 👌🏻
Good choice! Yes I would say go for the jubilee, smaller resizing increments and some would say more comfortable! 🙌
This is great! Will a two tone daytona with diamonds be considered an investment watch? That new 2023 is gorgeous
Hi Luis thank you for watching, really appreciate it! Yes should be a good one to hold long term 👌
I was waiting on you to say - the type of client who buys this model tends to be a total 🔔 end.
Haha never! 🤣
I bought my Submariner to celebrate retirement after 30 years on the shop floor as a lowly NHS nurse.
Ah incredible mate, stunning watch mate - enjoy it 👍
which one is the one at 11:30 I can't understand a word he's saying
The White Gold Yacht-Master 42 OysterFlex 👍
Another great Video Charlie, It was a pleasure doing business with you recently regarding the Sub Date, Top bloke to deal with some good advice
Thank you for watching Darren! Hope to hear from you again soon 👍
