Love the anecdote of how to tell a new Airbus pilot from an experienced one. A new Airbus pilot is heard to say "What's it doing that for?" where an experienced pilot says "It's doing it again..."
My flight factor a320 sat unused for a year while I learned all the Boeings. Sat down for a weekend to learn Airbus haven’t gone back to Boeing in 4 months. Such a breeze to fly. Even bought the a350
After spending some time learning to get proficient in the FlyJSim 732, the Zibo 738 feels like an Airbus to me. The automation makes the NG such a breeze to fly from point A to B. Makes me really respect the pilots who flew the 732 in real life. At times, the workload makes my head swirl especially as i fly twin crew aircraft single pilot.
I can't speak for the classics, but in terms of pilot QoL, I think Airbus has Boeing beat (having flown both aircraft). Obviously the Airbus isn't completely automated, but there are several small "bells and whistles" that really make life easier on whoever is flying the plane! That said, in the sim, 737 all the way. It's too much fun being able to play with the overhead panel and automation. Sim = Boeing all the way, Real life = Airbus all the way (YMMV on long haul, I'm domestic! I'd imagine that yoke between your legs in a 787 still becomes nuisance after a few hours ;) )
5 years later in flightdeck2sim channel description - I am an Airbus pilot with over 3000 hours of tri experience and have been in love with the company their planes
Absolutely brilliant 😂😂 I spent years simming with Airbus and when I decided to buy my retirement replica cockpit I was asked why an Airbus and the response I got was ‘ you need to try a Boeing ‘ and it took me about 9 months to transition from the BUS to my now beloved 737-MAX…I am a slow learner 😂 - great editing of this, well done !
I've watched your first stream in the toliss A319, and it was simply hilarious. But now look at you. You're doing a fantastic job Airbussing at this point. It's quite the great machine! I hope to see some random-failure-shenanigans in the future, hehe!
Ah dear captain. We both, as 737 pilots secretly **LOVE** I mean (Clears throat and coughs) HATE the plane (in a whisper) - Although it's sleek, modern, and has a great automated system.. more comfortable.. and i believe the seats recline? oh well... BOEING IT IS
All my life I've always made flights in 737 in real life as a passenger. That's why I always scalled in 737. But i've now started learning how to simulate on the A320. Something inconceivable until recently.
This is such a joy to see dude.... Hahaha really really fulfilling video. Especially because you are the same kid we are when we discover our planes, only you are actually a pilot already.. xD Thx for this @arjen P
I remember the first bits live, and when the compilation was made! Haven't had the chance to watch your streams in a while, but I love the big 180 you did on the Airbus hah, it was certainly unexpected.
As an user of pmdg 777 and after the a320 fenix I noticed that they are very very similar, very easy system for using, obviously using them in the most properly way
I still remember one of your first Airbus streams, when you were flying a heading and entered a direct to. The Airbus automatically engaged NAV and turned all by itself and you went into full panic mode "WHAT IS IT DOING?!?!?" 🤣🤣🤣
What I really think..... ua-cam.com/users/clipUgkxmfBeiGKIkrOgyaF_WuOIS6uWxq2bPfYJ
The only thing missing is if the last scene was you finding something wrong and then calling the whole thing rubbish and ending the video abruptly.
That has never happened...........

Hilarious! Well done. Love your humility in all your streams as well. Have learned a ton from you!

@@Seva2.0Or the Boeing 727, all approaches hand flown as the autopilot couldn't cope in the freighter conversions I flew in the early 2000's 😅

Just that gasp of excitement when using the MCDU just made the video. Was so happy I caught it live!

i mean... at least airbus didn't cause the crash of multiple airliners because they wanted to save moneys??

Brilliant 😂😂 As a steadfast Boeing lover, I've got to admit there's something quite elegant about Airbus aircraft!
Pretty sure these days Airbus is safer as well....with all the issues going on oj at Boeing
when flightdeck2sim becomes 320sim pilot
When all the romance and poetry is said and done, the Airbus is just a more modern and superior machine for the job.
Class content. It's very, very funny and a ode to the Airbus. Kisses for all airbuslovers! ;-)
By far my favorite miniclip that's been done 🤣
You put a smile on my face at breakfast, love it!!!
I want live I fly airbus 😅
😂😂 that was pure gold captain
As a pilot irl i flew the 320 for years and its was a great experience and so easy to work with, now im flying a cargo 767 and im enjoying it so much

Moving to Airbus is great if you wanna reduce the workload. It's a bit like choosing an ILS over a VOR approach. Less workload, less stress.
0:40 I though he would say: hihihihiheheheheboiii
Quantas 72 Adiru failure caused a nosedive. I'ts crazy a computer can completely take over the plane.
That's a rarity...most aircraft accidents are caused by human error
Its like a love story. Arbussing is awesome

Does this mean you are going to now fly the a320 irl instead of the b737 🤔
I just wish sometimes to not dine on the backside of the techlog...
Hey mate could you make a video explaining how to use the fix page on the 737 and what it does? Cheers 🥂
