Nice truck,many improvements...I am concerned about the bed height being 4 inches higher than the previous model,which was already borderline too high...this creates issues with gooseneck and 5 th wheel ,as well as makes getting things from the bedside harder. one other thing it's time to make the hood tilt forward like a real truck,since your making them so tall,a forward tilt hood would allow access to the engine for repairs and maintenance without needing a step ladder. I hope this truck turns out to be a nice improvement over the outgoing model.
I'm not gonna lie, I'm a GM guy. But this is pretty nice, but man 76k is to damn expensive. Before you know it all high end diesels will be 100k. It's nice though. Good job Ford
im a GM guy, my buddy got the 17 F350 in silver, its bad ss even has a safe in the center console. Ford really did step up their game with all the extra things they put into it. Great stereo system, remote tailgate, keyless start, ect.. But $76,000 for a work truck is absolutely ridiculous. These auto companies are going to start pricing out us Blue collar guys right outta the truck business. Thats sad cause I wanted to get a Diesel this year but can't justify $1200 a month for it.
I'm 6'3" and my only gripe with the new Superduty is the door sil and headroom. It's not as tall as the outgoing trucks. I have to lean forward and duck my head way down to get in and out of the truck. Once inside, my head almost touches the headliner. It is noticeably shorter. Otherwise, it's a wonderful truck.
wait till you see the forum talk about that tailgate when it stops working. They could have still added the electronic switch and actuator so your push button tailgate release works with the fob, and still left you a good old manual release handle on the tailgate itself. battery dies no tailgate, "weatherproof" switch goes out no tailgate, actuator fails no tailgate... why they feel the need to do that on such a fundamental part of the truck is just irritating. my corvette has electric door handles just like this, ask me how i know about the trials that go along with this method of entry.
Most people that buy this truck will hardly ever use the bed. I like this truck and I have never owned a Ford. But I know several friends with Platinum model trucks that wouldn't dare scratch it.

Alex Hall yeah that's a chevy they never work very long. I've had 6 fords and a ram 2500 never had any problems with any of them.
