- Dubu jorim, also known as braised tofu, is a popular side dish in Korea. It’s so easy to make and is ready in about 15 minutes. It’s also vegan friendly!
I picked up a container of dubu jorim from a local store in Korea that sells all types of banchan dishes and fell in love! The texture of the tofu was so crisp and lathered in such a flavorful marinade. In that instant, I knew I had to recreate the recipe to share with you all.

👍🏻 If you sauté the chopped garlic, onions, and green onions in extra virgin olive oil, before adding the sauce, it’s even more delicious. Also, letting it reduce and glaze before adding the tofu makes a big difference. Add sesame oil and sesame seeds at the end. 😘
