The difference between the Glock 26 & the Sig P365 is the recoil. I know the Sig is a micro pistol but I'd rather have the 26 all day. It's small enough & no where near the recoil of the micro pistols. Especially with the pinky extension +2 magazine.
I just bought a black one 🙌💋 It’s definitely smaller but with the extension on the mag, it feels just like a 19 to me. VERY WORTH IT, recommend it to anyone
Steezy Franklin I love mine and shoot it as good as any of my other glocks.
G26 (black) is my absolute favorite sub compact that shoots like a full size gun. If you haven't tried G26 you owe to yourself to try it especially if you already have G43.

The 26 shoots like a full size pistol. I like the Meprolight three dot night sights orange rear/green front.

Carrying the 26 in a 19 holster is something people do intentionally, as the extra length on the muzzle stops the gun from tipping forward and printing.
Ya I carried mine in my 19 holster for awhile before I got a dedicated one for it. It worked great
Great video. Thanks! I also haven’t made any modifications to my g26, and I don’t intend to. I’m a retired LEO and I carried a Sig P229 40 cal. for many years. That Sig was extremely reliable, durable, and dead-on-balls accurate. It was also a heavy SOB so when I retired I decided to carry something lighter. My agency never used Glocks (except for the spec. ops. boys) so I was not familiar with them. But after doing a lot of research I chose the G26 for my EDC. Expectations met.

Greg Howard Hi Greg. I had no issues with biting from the slide during my transition from the Sig to the G26. My concern with the G26 was with the very short grip, as I didn’t want to carry concealed with an extended mag-grip (pinky extension). Within the first few rounds of firing my new G26; however, I found that I liked the short grip better than a full grip and that the beefiness of the G26 made it easy to control while firing and prevented any FTF/FTE situations. In fact, I have never had any problems with my G26 gen 4 so I actually like it better than the Sigs I had been carrying for many, many years, even though I never had any problems with the Sigs either. Perhaps I prefer the striker opposed to the hammer, or maybe it’s the simplicity of Glock. Take care!
Go with the night fision sights you won't regret it
XS BIG DOT, the best for fast sighting. I have them on all my Glocks.

I have several different handguns that I've carried, and I've shot many and more, but the only gun I can say I actually LOVE is my Glock 19. It may sound weird, but it's the only gun I own that I feel a personal connection to, in the way you might feel a connection to your favorite car. Gotta say I'm not a Glock fanboy, but they know how to make one hell of a handgun.

Trijicon HD sights hands down the best!
I’m another that likes the stock Glock trigger and kept my Gen 4 G17 all stock. It is a Talo edition and came w/the Ameriglo sights that’s easy for my 71 y/o eyes to pick up quickly.
At my local gun shop, they offer blue label to first responders as well. So firefighters, EMT, paramedics as well. Just a FYI. Great Video! 👍🏻
Love the Glock 26 and my G 19 I carry both both gen 4 and both conceal well. I have used my 26 now more recently as my summer gun but the 19 will still make apperances. I changed out my glock reg sights to the glock steel night sights and I think they are awesome but whatever you go with yes change the sights lol. I'm actually new to the channel so love it so far and keep it up.

Very good video. I carry both the G42 and G26, my light or heavy carry modes. Hence, I wanted and have the same configuration on both as I did not want to have to change my shooting style or sighting between the two. I have the TFOs on my G42 first and loved them, sights POP in daylight with outstanding nite performance. I tried the "Snake Eyes" on my newer G26 and they performed outstanding with ranges out to 21 feet. But outside 21 feet the front sight post was too large and mostly hide the targets. They also forced me into a different target acquisition mode than my G42! SO, put the TFX-PROs on my G26 now hitting well out to 50-60 feet. Now I the same performance with either carry I choose. Point, when chosing any sights of preference, stay consistent with your carry options. I also like the Talon grips, for me I prefer the "sandpaper", but I can not "Cloak" as they grab the shirt. They have the rough plastic surface instead if you cloak. As carry and home defence, I installed the TLR-6 ON BOTH, esp. for the light, the laser was nice. Very good video, and if you carry more an one EDC, try and stay consistant. My thought.

Trijicon HD’s are amazing. Worth the extra cost in my opinion. I like my orange one. It jumps out at you and makes quick sight picture acquisition very easy.
If money is a nonissue than you can’t have to many glock’s. I think the stock sights are fine and work well for me. I did by a used G43 and it came with ameriglo sights , they are really nice. I also keep mine stock, I don’t need night sights because I feel that if it’s to dark to see my sights than it’s to dark to identify my target, and I ain’t shooing at shit that I can’t see.

very nice! My 26 is my sweet spot - 10 years now - I did move the to Gen 4 a few years ago...but a 26 has been my best gun for all of those 10 years. I carry with a flush mag and a G19 backup mag with the X-grip (so it's basically a 26x, lol!) I own a 43...never got my head around why I'd carry it...so it became a back up gun and I'm trying to get my wife to upgrade from her G42 to carry the G43...so she can carry the 9mm. All our carry guns have XS Big Dots. They even replaced a set for me after Amazon said I bought them over 7 years back....I called, was honest...told them 7 years...and they had no hesitation....sent me a new set free in 3 days. Really, really hard to beat a 26. Oh...I own a 19 too...but I prefer the 26...which is good...as my son is about to get his CCW and wants the 19. lol.

for all my glocks I use, ameriglo uc tritium glock sights, ameriglo I dot pros, ameriglo agent sights/fbi contract ones, or the ameriglo bold. also like the trijicon hd but for $85 bucks you get imho sights that are just as good and it saves you 50-60 bucks for ammo or etc. but to each his own👍 we all have different preferences. but great vid man, I love my glock 19 have bought it twice due to getting new guns and its what I always come back too! but think about getting a glock 26/27 gen 4 or a gen 5 26. thanks again for the videos I appreciate it!

lots of aftermarket triggers such as agency arms and apex too name a couple are actually still oem glock triggers just world's apart better especially with db diamond or ghost 3.5 lb minus connector wichalso are one lock parts I like the angncy arms flat faced trigger dbl diamond minus connector bar Rainer arms ambi mag release stainless slide catch and stainless steel pins on my glocks cost about 300.00 bucks but man are they sweet to run and I've got countless ends thru a number of glocks without the slightest hiccup I agree with certain modifications but as long as things remain one there good to go and you end up with a much better feeling firearm
I don't go along with putting mag extenders on my G26. I feel that it defeats the purpose as to why the gun was designed in the first place; concealability. If that were the case, I would've stayed with my G19 as my cc. Both grips being about the same length with the extender added. I'm fine with a two finger grip. Just practice more. Also, 10 + 1 is enough. Too many negative reports with the G26 jamming due to the two extra rounds thightly seated in the mag. A death sentence against a threat.

The finger extension on the 26 extends the front of the grip but the rear of the grip is still shorter than the 19. The rear of the grip is the hard part to conceal when carrying. The extensions on the 26 give you almost the purchase of the 19 and almost the concealment of the 26. Some people they work really well for. You can also get 0 round extensions, they dont have to add any rounds. And furthermore, 10 rounds may be enough for you, but who are you to say how many rounds someone else might need? It would be advisable to carry a standard glock 17 mag for reload, but thats just me.
10 +1 works for me,if ever I feel the need for more rounds I'll bring my g17 magazine

Oh man. I started running them on my 19. Now have them on my 48. They are my favorite sights.
I also carry a glock 26. My favorite, first thing I did was polish the internals and undercut the trigger guard to get a better purchase not worried about the pinky. Just don't like that knuckle rubbing.
On my next check. I'll be getting the p80 and OD Green.

I run Trijicon H D XS Night sights on my Gen3 26. It works for me and I'm happy with it. Its my EDC and I shoot the GSSF matches with it. Its seen several thousands of rounds without any malfunctions.

Night fision are the bomb! Got some for my Gen5 19 with the yellow front and they are awesome and so easy to pick up the front. Bought a Gen5 26 yesterday and put the same sights on it. Only issue with them is that they are extremely tight to install. Luckily I work at a gun Shop and we have several install tools. There is no way you could install them with a hammer and punch.

I run ameriglo pro i dots on my glocks. They're great sights. As well with my trijicon glocks, i run ameriglo suppressor height sights.

I installed the AmeriGlo spartan night sights and I love them on my 26 gen5 these sights sit at the factory Glock sight height and that has helped me in accuracy even out to 100 yards
On my Glock 19 I have Trijicon HD XR night sights and I just don’t like how high the ride and my accuracy has suffered , think I may put the AmeriGlo Spartans on my 19 now

I have a wick for a front sight. Light it at night.
My local gun store suggested I try a “police set up” for night sights. He has set his and numerous officers Glocks set up with the rear steal Glock sight and the front Glock night sight. I have likede it so far. I prefer the Glock sight picture so I still have that and with a light I can see the outlet be of the sight picture pretty well, but I get that green dot up front to help line things up and relatively quickly. Probably not as precisely as some of the other night sights but good non the less. Seems better to me then my 229 three dot night sight set up actually.

I like them but I’m just not a huge fan of the hinged triggers they use.
I am debating why I need one as well. I have G19 & 43 and don’t know it’s place. If I go with the 26, do I really need the 19? Just a debate I’m having. By the way, all my Glock’s Have Trijicon HD in orange. They are great for me - highly recommend them.

I just traded a Sig P226 for one and I mean I like it. Its definitely a better ccw due to the size difference but idk. I buy quality guns all day long. I just dont get excited about glocks

I think you will like the 26 it’s a great gun for edc. I even use mine in competition. I like glocks for the simplicity.
@@ScotchNThings Its already growing on me lol. I bought some 19 mags and put some grip extensions on and it feels much better in the hand. Spent a little time on Glocks website and seen all the customization you can do to them and it got me thinking bout all the cool stuff I could do to my 26 to really make it kind of stand out. Starting to see Glocks are like the Hondas of the gun world and when I say that I mean it has a lot of aftermarket accessories and compatibility between magazines. Nd parts are pretty cheap and plentiful just about anywhere. Not gonna lie the more I get into this gun the more im starting to love it. Nd that's coming from a long time Colt, S&W, Sig, FN, HK fanatic who used to talk down about Glocks cause they don't have that artistic quality like some 1911's, the M9's or some of the high end revolvers from Colt even. Glocks seemed boring but I was wroooong lol. Gonna enjoy this little EDC for awhile for sure.

Glock 17 or 19 concealed somewhere on your person and a 26 in an ankle holster is the way to go.
ive had both the glock 42&43 liked both a lot and since the 26 is basically same size as my 43 just double stacked and get more rounds and also have more to hang onto. I'm not that tall but I have rather larger hands. right now I'm carrying my glock 22 gen 3. I like it but man it gets annoying being out every day with it on especially working when I need something smaller lmao

Nice color on that G26. I love my tru glo Tritium Pro night sights on my Glocks. About $65 with a 12 year life span. I bought my sights on ebay. I tried the XDS 9MM and was like : why would I carry this when I can carry a G26 or G19 just as easy? So no single stacks for me or guns without a track record like the P365 from Sig.

My Glock 26 with the Glock+2 will actually hold 13+1. I don't usually load it up to 13 but it will hold 13 in mag+1 in chamber.

G. Puga I would get the gen 5 if you don’t already have one. I wouldn’t sell a gen 3 or 4 to get one though. Go to a local range that rents guns and shoot the 26 and the new 43x and 48. Those feel great also.
Scotch N Things ok. I’ve seen the the g43x. I like how slim it is, but the grip is long. I really like the g26 the grip is the reason why I like the 26.
I’m looking at the sig p320. But I don’t want to be replacing my striker after 1000 rounds if ever the rumor about it is real. You know how the internet is. I never heard a serious problem with glocks.
Glock problem is mostly 1st world 🌍 problem, plastic sights, it has no beautiful slide and the trigger. Nothing stops it from functioning and it’s not really a problem. 😅

Just bought the gen 4 26. I seem to like it even tho I have small hands. I live in Georgia so I open carry. Any recommendations on a holster for open carry of this glock ? Thnx.

I love the G26 have carried it for years now! I know this is petty but it drives me crazy when I here someone say they don't have room for there little pinky. Sounds like something a Girl would say cant we just say we cant get a full grip? LOL

gutadin5 I haven’t replaced anything yet. It was some different self defense stuff and a bunch of different kinds of ball. I used it for competition also.

I just bought a gen 3 lighty used from my wife’s grandfather. I have all Gen4s until now but I have no issues with the Gen3 except for the smooth sides.. I stippled them and now it’s been my favorite gun
P365 has nothing on the 26...except hype maybe?

I have the Glock 26 for my EDC. I don’t want to change out the stock sights . I have changed out the sights on the other two Glocks I own. I’m keeping the glock 26 stock for EDC. Anyone care to weigh in? I also have Sig Sauer and Springfield Armory and HK.
Just picked up a Gen 3 26 for 300 on consignment. Yeah I don't think I'm gonna change the sights. Since it will be c&c, in a defensive situation, you won't have time to aim. Point and shoot as fast as you can. Going to train hard on 'body sized' targets with a rapid fire. My P226 sits on my night stand with Night Sights though.

How did you get Blue Label pricing on a 26 with the OD frame? I was looking at the GSSF website a week or two ago and it mentioned that the Blue Label pricing is only for black frame models. I wonder if that is something new?
Rusty Shackleford I got it right when the summer specials came out. I was surprised that they had an OD so I picked it up. My only guess is they do a lot of Glock sales and were one of the only blue label dealers around the area. I’m shooting an indoor GSSF match there this weekend I’ll have to ask.
I’ve got a gen 4 26 in od green also blue label. I had to order mine from sports south distributors. They said it was the only one they had in stock.
I do not know why, I shoot my G 26 gen4 better than my Glock 19 gen3 0r 4?? go figure.

Jay Mar Leo first responders get it. Otherwise you can join GSSF and they send you one coupon a year. Sign up for the 2 year membership that way you get one right away. If you only sign up for a one year then you have to wait that first year
