Hugh, yes it was brilliant. I've got both box sets.so funny but when Mel told Ken she was meeting the so called real dad ,and Ken sat crying on the bed,it had me in tears, brilliant 😄
I think it's great that there isn't a third series. The best sitcoms are the ones that know when to stop, Early Doors, The Office, Faulty Towers. Get in, say what you need to say, and get out. Quality beats quantity every time.

@@millwallholdings Tommy had been a traffic warden and wheel clamper. After Early Doors he convinced petrol station forecourts to fit his 50p machines for putting air in your tyres. He set the timer short so you'd usually only get air in 3 wheels. They went with his machines because the shorter time meant that people would spend more money than it people had longer time, which is what the competition were selling. It's on his wackipedia page.
My ex father in law, name was Ken and he had a Hornby train set the piss was taken, because life's not tame when your the driver of a train, riding on foot plate there and back again 😂😂😉
heath and Safety would probably avoid drinkin in a pub, top series, should have run 3 - 4 serires at least, tv shite these dayz, thats why only fools etc no longer made
Iam sure I read somewhere I could be wrong that the bbc did want a third series roundabout 2005 but Craig and Phil didn’t want to write another series then the royle family came back not long after.

i just couldnt get into this show its more aimed at an english persons type of humour( being scottish myself) still some bits were funny just seems abit slow tho the royale family was good tho lol
