You proved every single word you said that day, during the next 70 years. World will never see such a devoted, flawless, and popular queen again. God bless your beautiful soul!
The way the queen is going they will need a very VERY long salute for when her reign ends
AHAHAHA...Camden,,THAT is very witty !!! AHAHAHA !!!
Barbdgg"ü7p]
She'll live well into her hundreds, no doubt.
@@RampantFury925 Would not surprise me if she aims to live to be 120.
@@RampantFury925 she might, but we don't know that for sure
68 years later she is still alive and well. Holding the records of: Longest reigning British monarch ever. Longest living British monarch ever. Longest reigning current monarch. Longest lived queen ever. Oldest currently serving state leader.... and probably a few more.
Add longest married and most travelled. Met the most people (when I retired from working at Buckingham Palace in 2016 we estimated that it was more than 5 million.) Fourth longest reigning monarch in world history. Only Head of State who lived through the last war. The list continues.
Amrin Amrin as do ALL centenarians. How else can they live so unnaturally long? Lol.
@Amrin Amrin Are you high?
Her funeral is expected to be the largest in history.
Well maybe her mother was the longest british queen ever lived, she died 18 years ago at the age of 101
(Queen consort, I know)
I hope The Queen reaches 70 years on the throne in 2022
Sure looking like it no cap
If she makes it to May 30, 2024 she will be the longest-reigning monarch in recorded history.
@@mrspacechicken123 for the U.K. or just in human history
@@christiancolarusso5835 Yeah in world history, or what is recorded at least.
It might happen but won't mean that much to her as Prince Philip is no longer with us.
70 wonderful years on the throne! thank you, Your Majesty, for all you’ve done for our world.
Watching this just after Prince Philip’s funeral. She has been and continues to be a remarkable woman and dedicated servant to her people and God. Gob bless Queen Elizabeth II.
I think the fact that she never smoked is a big contributor to her good health! Others in her Royal family passed away from smoking 🚬
Her mother smoke (as far as I remembered) and surprisingly lived up to the age of 101.
Not to start an argument, or a mile long discussion on the evils of smoking ~ but my Dad died from a rapidly spreading Cancer aged 53.
He never smoked at all. He wasn't a drinker either.
I've always believed that we will not live any longer than our alotted time. I once read that from the instant we are born we are dying. Maybe that is true.
As it is, there are those who live to a good old age who have smoked like troupers all their lives ~ and those like Dad, who died young, who never smoked at all.
Incidently, l am not pointing fingers at anyone for smoking. I smoked for 40 years and, by the Grace of God, managed to give it up "cold turkey" back in 1997. I am now almost 81 years old.
She's led quite an active lifestyle and I've heard she also watches what she eats. Her diet is a lot stricter than Prince Philip's diet was. She does splurge a bit during tea time though.
@@firemangan2731 and the Queen mother also drank quite heavily
She has now been our Queen for 67 years and I have known no other whether you are a monarchist or not she has done us proud
john smith do you have any proof of these claims ?
@@pedanticradiator1491 Of course smith has no proof. There is none.
Those who believe in conspiracy theories (although "hypotheses" would be a better word) are often people who are lacking something in their lives, and like to pretend to "special knowledge" which is denied to lesser mortals, to whom they sometimes refer by the silly term "sheeple. They also frequently exhibit paranoid tendencies.
Many of us hear in America love her dearly. As you say God Save The Queen. We in America say God Bliss Her. And God Bliss Grate Britain. Our very best friend's. Hello from Buckeye, Arizona, USA.
Yes, very true. She has!
john smith you sir, are coocoo for Cocoa Puffs
I think she was absolutely amazing - to have a cheerful facade while grieving inside!
Yeah I was thinking about this. A few people were criticizing her for being like that at Diana's funeral but I suppose that this was the way she had to live her whole life.
RIP Queen Elizabeth
Britain would no longer the same without you
Today HM The Queen and HRH Prince Philip celebrate their 73rd marriage anniversary!!! How long have they come together, simply unimaginable

@@IvoaBettencourt 😔
The Queen was blessed to have Churchill as her first prime minister. He was the right man to guide his nation through the darkest days of the Second World War. He was the right man to guide a new, young queen into her role that would last so many decades. I would have loved to have sat in on their private conversations!
She and Churchill are actually close friends.
He taught her how to shoot, after her father asked him. She learned with a Thompson submachine gun !
7:05 whether it be long or short, turned out to be long.
Whats crazy is she really was acting as monarch for several years before her father passed away so she was really queen for closer to 75 years
She was such a beautiful woman, and she is still beautiful on the inside. I will miss living in a world with her as Queen of the UK, Canada, Australia, etc.
Green Mountain Brownie it will be a sad day my friend
Change happens. People back in Elizebeth’s earlier days missed living in a world where George V was king.
I feel so proud of Her Majesty The Queen. She has reigned for over 60 years and has always fulfilled her duties with such grace and pride. Her work ethic , also past retirement age , is outstanding.
I really hope that Elizabeth II get to see her Platinum jubilee cause she’s deserves it. Long live the Queen
At least she made it! Rest In Peace queen ❤
@@KingJackson11355 awww I remember when I wrote this and I’m also glad
I wish she was still here with us
@@GodisMyNo1 Same
She kept the promise she made. RIP
No words could ever describe the true extent of Her Majesty's magnificence . Her nobility radiates as powerfully as the sun shines on the universe. God Save The Queen.
And now her most loyal subject and lifetime companion is gone. I hope she'll be as strong as ever.
From my experience, old people die not long after their spouses die.
@@overtonpendulum2071 It depends. On my observation, that mostly happens when the wife died first, the husband either become more sickly or died shortly afterwards. I know mostly widows who live more than 20 years after their husband died.
@@athenstar10 Unfortunately that did happen with her. Phillip passing was her downfall. Sad. Rest In Peace queen and Phillip ❤
She has been head of our family since before I was born; I've known no other for whole lifetime.
I think this is the first time I’ve heard her speak when she was young. I didn’t expect it to sound virtually the same
My dad was in the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery 1932-46.
Makes you so proud !!! Just turning up for all these years all over the World and in Royal form. Can this ever be equaled or surpassed ?- God love you Ma'm and Thank You!
What a grand lady...🌺
5:55 the king, ladies and gentlemen,
Prince William really looks like his grandmother when she was young, same look and everything.
This Queen and the late King Bhumibol of Siam have much in common 1) Both became monarch upon the sudden death of their predecessors 2) Became monarch at the young age and around the same period of time right after WWII 3) Reign for a very long time (Bhumibol 70 years, Elizabeth is expected to supass him by a few years) 4) They both have heir apparents who had been in position for a very long time 5) They're both incredibly popular and highly esteeemed by their subjects.
avcomth most monarchs become monarch on the death of the previous monarch
@@lsmith9249 I don't think you get it: THEY became monarchs around the same time, under similar circumstances---the suddent, unexpected deaths of their predecessors---they were somewhat unprepared. That's what I meant.
@@avcomth Monarchs don't have to be prepared, but Elizabeth had been, she was taught constitutional history at Eton, this is something future Monarchs learn, if possible, her father as its not something younger siblings are taught, so its her father who was unprepared
Our Dear Young Queen - bless her 🇬🇧♥️.
Pageant! Ceremony! Behind it all, grief, human loss, a sorrow that we can relate too ... never forget the humanity among all this pomp & splendor!
Happy 95th Birthday to The Queen! She is easily the most admirable, classy and strong lady 💕
Well! What a time to recommend this! It’s 3 days since her husband passed away.
Long live the Queen of Australia.
For me, she is HM, the Queen of Canada
Ayden Tange She is also Duke of Normandy, viva duchess!
Prince Charles is the LONGEST prince as Prince of Wales.

My parents and all of us, their children, were born during her reign. I am spending 27 years of my life using the note with her face on it, my passport under her name, and singing the prayer and anthem for her. It will be very different indeed when the time comes. Sad and different. Long Live the Queen! God Save the Queen!
I read that she is now the longest serving monarch in recorded history. I believe she just surpassed Pharoah Rameses II in Ancient Egypt. It's difficult to believe the record stood for that long.
In the UK yes, in terms of still living yes, in terms as ever in world history she is 4th (Louis XIV of France is 1st at over 72 years).
They had to shoot the cannons 96 times this time.
She was a special woman and Queen. We may never see the likes of her again; someone truly dedicated to the people and to her nation and commonwealth.
This is the Britain I’m falling in love with.
she achieved so many things in this ''shitty'' world ; a glitter of light and hope in this dark world she's been ; she deserves to live forever ; her name shall be remember forever
Our Queen is a wonderful person. God Save the Queen.
A great role model for the King's and Queens bring unity, peace and prosperity.
Unbelievable that she is still the monarch.
Longer may she reign. God Save the Queen
What a brave Queen
Watched this on our new TV in 1952, though too young properly to understand what ws happening.
She has certainly held her vow to serve.
68 years already.I was a new born when she was crowned.
She was a very mature girl when her father was ill. She was destined to be the Queen.
Wow this is so cool!!!
She even visited Llandrindod Wells station in 1952.
Prince Philip was the luckiest guy to have ever lived
I wouldn’t consider a guy who has to live through loosing his parents at a young age, his sister being a possbile Nazi, having to fight 6 years to live, having an entire country looking up to him and the stress it causes a lucky guy...
Such an attractive woman, still quite handsome. And I agree with Camden Beahan-Smith, a very VERY long salute is only appropriate to honor Her Majesty.
She fulfilled and fulfill the greatness as
a greater Queen.👏👏👏👏👏👏
Rest In Peace queen ❤

How times have changed - but not sadly for the better
If we could only set the clock back!
for what
Damn Prince Phillip was HOT
Yes But the Young Queen was Movie Star Good Looking!
He had all the lineage and right to be a king,,,from his German heritage, but he gave it up to marry Elizabeth. It is easy to see why he did so, what a sweetheart she was. I wonder when they changed from Mountbatten to Windsor? I guess I could just google it... haha

The lady has style!
Even after all these years, I didn't saw any beautiful women as the Queen was at time !
I mean she is extremely beautiful !!!😮🥇🏆
And Prince Philip , Prince of Edinburgh , looks so much like his grand son Prince William , Duke of Cambridge. 😁👍
Her three sons have hardly covered themselves in glory.
She was magnificent. She affirmed our finer instincts: patriotism, duty, consensus, diversity. Now she belongs to the ages.

I love the queen, but I must say, I am shocked to see her smiling while shaking hands, as if was a normal day. I expected to see her more solemn. When I lost my father I was physically unable to smile for a week
People of her generation grieved in private - they did not impose this burden on other people.
70 years
My grandma was born on the year she became a Queen.
It's surprising that most if our ancestors have only experienced the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, and will probably die with Elizabeth II still as queen.
It seems like my grandpa is older than your grandma because he was already 7 yrs. old alive at the time of King George VI coronation. My grandpa has been witnessing King George VI reign until Queen Elizabeth II reign. My grandpa is 92 yrs. old now.
7:02 - I see the resemblance to Prince William
