- Her grace, charm and remarkable dedication to service endeared her to world leaders and millions of people across the globe.
And as tributes continue to pour in for Queen Elizabeth II, who died peacefully at Balmoral, one common theme has been her infectious sense of humour.
Her Majesty was known for her witty one-liners and excellent comedic timing, which were perhaps only rivalled by her husband Prince Philip.
From mic drops to being the perfect photo bomber, Britain's longest-reigning monarch knew when to poke fun at the lighter side of life.
As the country unites to mourn her loss and prepares to say goodbye, we fondly remember the incredible times the Queen put smiles on our faces.

"Are you going to leave him like that?" - That had me.
Its really you ?
That reminded me of my Nan. That and “thank you, prime minister of Canada, for making me feel old”.

Love her 😭😭😂
okay but seriously, her cutting that cake with the sword is the most hilarious thing i’ve seen in my entire life
Must have a pretty tragic sense of humour then
I asked Google _"What did Queen die from"_ and it answered _"Freddie Mercury"_
@@TonyEnglandUK 🤦♂️
HRH actually pushes down on the blade side with her hand after turning the sword upside down, glad she was wearing her gloves. Also, yesterday commentator said that when she travelled she always took her father's sword with her for protection! I m not sure what she would have done with it after watching this cake cutting. I love this video clip.
What a sad life
I'm not Charles biggest fan, most of us aren't but this does break my heart for him. Whether they are 96 or 46, losing your parents is a pain that is indescribable. I'm thinking of the entire royal family and hoping they can give in their own ways.
Does it break your heart for Prince Phillip as well
The death of your parents never gets easier. No matter your age. Charles lost both of his in the last 2 years. I hope he can get through it and make the commonwealth proud.
Shes in hell now with Jimmy Saville
@@whydididothatoops your momma never hugged you? poor soul
Especially just one year apart.
I wonder how long it will be till I can watch the Queen with out a tear in my eye ? She was the best .❤
She never grew old in her mind. Amazing woman. Few like her these days,
Meanwhile, there’s Joe Biden, useless at around 80% of her age.
@@whydididothatoops Stop talking about yourself that way 😂
The queen had 2 severely mentally disabled cousins Narrissa and Katherine Lyon hidden away in a mental hospital without any visits or support. They died in 1986 and 2014 but we're publicly pronounced dead in 1940 and 1961.
You know how it’s ‘God save the queen’ well he didn’t save her in the end.
@@raoulmoat6762 hopefully it will be very very hot where she is know. We know what happened in Canada and so does God.
I was born 6 years after she ascended to the Throne.
She’s always been in my life and whilst I’m not a full on monarchist, I’ve cried more for the Queen than I did for my own mother.
The end of a FAR better era than England will ever see again.
This comment was very touching
You’re 90?
@@aqua-762 No she wasn't a baby when she became queen she was 27.
@@urfavsh1teditor so how old is she

I still can’t believe she’s gone. Timeless icon.
I remember watching the Bond sketch on the big screens at Hyde Park and when we realised it was actually the Queen there was a huge gasp then a compete eruption of cheers and laughter. It was amazing.
I don't think you can survive that long and have such good report without a sense of humor.
Can you enlighten me more about it.?
We are so lucky to of had her as our queen, now we mourn our queen's passing, I used to think I was mad saying when she dies it will feel like we have lost our grandmother and oh how it does, rest well and thank you ma'am.
While I am not her subject, or of English descent, British culture gave birth to the culture of my country, and she `felt' like my queen. And speaking of grandmothers, one of mine looked a lot like her, and the other one was as reserved and as occasionally blunt as the queen was.
That performance with Mr. Craig was amazing!
With Paddington a well done topping.
We'll miss her, also here in Germany. Mr. Steinmeier, our President is taking two teps behind for the time of grief, 'cause he knows what the passing of HM The Queen to common people of Germany means.
I was born 89, and I still got a fan of having The Queen in s very young age and a lot of people think like me in my age, too.
And now the romantism has passed away. That's the real meaning of romanticism, isn't it? Glory and passing. Isn't it?
God bless Her Majesty The Queen.
Our Queen, nextdoor.
At least,
God save the King.
The European royals were all closely connected through blood and marriage. The Queen represents that bond and so much more too 🇬🇧🇩🇪
The "Good evening, Mr Bond" is one of my All Time Favorites! ❤ 😊
What a lovely woman and leader, clearly had a great sense of humor, a joy to be around. God rest her soul. Now the queen and Phillip can rest together for eternity.
I just realized the queen had really good skin for her age.
Good genes clearly. She was very pretty too.
@@ZolaMagic25 Her own mother lived to almost 102 so she definitely had good genes.

i’m not a royalist but she did make me laugh
I am not British , am not connected to anything British, but I loved the queen so much, she was so sweet and beautiful in and outside, I loved watching everything about her on TV and so on; She lived a wonderful life, she aged well, and her death should be a celebration of a life well lived, but i am still emotional about her death.....Rest in Perfect Peace the REAL Queen of the World💔

The Ukrainian people creed together with the people of Great Britain in connection with the death of Her Royal Highness. A year ago, I could not even imagine that the people of Great Britain would extend a helping hand to the people of Ukraine in the fight against the invaders who invaded Ukraine and treacherously destroy the sons and daughters of Ukraine. I sincerely hope that the new monarch and the new prime minister will continue to support and help the people of Ukraine. Prosperity and peace to all nations. Thank you people of Great Britain. Sorry for my English. Glory to the heroes of Ukraine!
I see many Ukrainian flags flying around England. Ukraine has British support for sure! 🇺🇦✊🏴🇬🇧👍
Love the pfp 😂
Your English is really good. 🙂
Peace not war
This so-called 'Queen' leaves behind a legacy of denial of treacherous plunder from nations, killing of innocent, unarmed civilians through inhuman laws and staying defiant on the crimes against humanity that her Empire perpetrated. She must be remembered in the light of her greedy, selfish actions and not some romanticized, redundant title. May those who perished because of her family's greed find peace. May humanity be spared from such characters in future.
Yes, when the Queen met Mr Bond in the commercial was such a delight to see her.
I’m missing her already 😢❤
She was a great lady and queen.

.... 'great', I dont know about that. Speak for yourself because most of the world won't miss her.
I would've loved to have spent a day with her just listening to her stories
You could of asked her how many children she had trafficked
A light went out in the world and we will miss her strength and service. I make mine the words of the Bard:
"She was a woman. Take her all in all. We shall not look upon her like again." The world is a poorer place without her. I will miss her 🙏
