Thanks Laura for recipe of Focaccia I've used anther topping for my Focaccia ,thanks again ur all your ideas my focaccia come out amazing !!! thankyou , Jose from Brighton UK
Oh and one night of refrigeration is often ideal for flavor. I usually mix blended olive oil and garlic into the dough after letting it sit a bit in blender with flour fully mixed.
Thank you so much for your recipe. I tried it last night and fell in love with the bread. I made it again today and am thinking of making yet another one later. Think I am addicted to focaccia bread making... Thanks again for the awesome simple recipe and an awesome cheery video.
I love all your videos they're amazing!! I am so excited to try this out but i was also wondering if you have a recipe for just a plain loaf of italian bread? if you do, please make a video!! i've tried to many of your recipes and they are all great! thanks
Koptchak A bit late to help you here... you could store the dough ball overnight in the fridge. If you shape it, like I do with pizza dough it can also last a day or two in the fridge, wrapped of course, but it may still dry and the yeast would change flavor. Shorten cooking time since it will brown faster when stored overnight.
Recently you had a knife video. Could you tell me what length your favorite Chef/Cooks knife is. And what brand? I have recently bought some really good knives Wustof and Henkles for some I liked one brand & others I liked the Hinkles brand. But I'm curious as to the length you like. I have 2 and one is 8 in. and the other is 6. One handle feels good for one thing & the other or longer knife the handle is more secure in another brand. It can get really hard to pick. Thanx luv the show.
Hey Laura. The website says to "Coat a sheet pan with a little olive oil and corn meal". I don't see any corn meal in the video. Can you please clarify. Thanks :)
I tried to make this today without a mixer but it didn't turn out like hers:( It was enjoyed anyway even though it didn't really qualify as focaccia bread:P
The first time I tasted was at my grocery bakery dept made with onions peppers and tomatoes! It was delicious. The one you made is plain! And no dents👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

@cherie88cc92 You can put all kinds of stuff on there. My favorite is black olives and parmesan cheese.
There are little tabs on the ends of the plastic wrap that you can push in so the roll does come popping out!

What olive oil do you use? I noticed it's green (how it should be).

Omg I did not know that kind of garlic was even a thing!! It’s HUGE
The way she said "quarter"...sounds North Jersey/NY
Can you do a recipe on hearty Italian the bread?
if i dont have a mixer would i have to knead it?
How much yeast to use you're recipe says 1packed yest??? How much is that teaspoons???
One package = 2 1/4 teaspoons
21/4 tsp or 7g
GRANDE LAURA!!!!
Would this make 2 rounds?
How much water n yeast n sugar ratio
Dates back to the Etruscans precursor to Pizza Neapolitan's can do anything..
Awsome
can i use active dry yeast??
can i use this as a base for pizza???????plzzz helpp i heard buddy from cake boss doing his pizza with focaccia dough..any suggestion any1??
thnxxx ^^
hi laura, is it okay to use canola instead of olive oil?
Ranjit Kaur it wouldn't be a focaccia without the olive oil as its originally made, so don't go with the canola oil.
Ranjit Kaur olive oil is flavorful but canola oil isn’t. You should use olive oil
I make this all the time but I never have rosemary so I always just chop black olives
So late this video was10 years ago and i’m 10 years late
what is the receipt pls?
i love eating focaccia
but I don't have oven at my house 🏠

IS THERE ANYWAY WE CAN MAKE THIS WITHOUT A MIXER??
Just knead with your hands :)
I don't have a mixer, and make bread almost daily
Damn you were in such a rush! ;o
Where are the peppers onions and tomatoes?
Focaccia Bread
Is it me or Laura sounds a little different now in comparison to then?
Yeah she sounds more chill then.
that's too brown on the top...it don't look focaccia at all :/
No measurements on the water or any of the other ingredients except 2 tablespoons of water so everybody just guess what you use in there
Chill this was 11 years ago
That's the secret I think
