- ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!! we are moved in! life is so good right now! I can't believe only two years ago I was living in section 8 housing and now we live in our dream apartment in Chicago.. dreams do come true if you know exactly what you want and are intentional in how you get there. write down what you want for your future, find out how much it costs (literally and figuratively) to get there, and work until you have it. thank you to those who have been here since the beginning and also to anyone who just joined the ride. many more happy memories and vlogs to come! ;-) ✩

Omg!! So, I wasn't sure until this video but we definitely live in the same complex hahahah! Just a tip, the grocery store downstairs has really terrible produce, the whole foods farther down on the corner is great but expensive, so I usually go to the target on the way to the river walk for fresh fruits and veggies!!!! LIFELONG Chicago resident here & I'm just curious about u saying u lived in Section8 housing? Id like to know how long u waited for ur certificate. That certificate takes YEARS to get because the waiting list is literally YEARS out & u have no children or disability that would allow for u to obtain a Section8 certificate faster than someone who's been on the list for at least 5-8 years already.
Just seems alittle odd, so if you could answer that question that would be great. I ask bcuz I'm in Cook County Social Services industry and you don't look like you were living in S8 approved housing or someone who legitimately needed S8 certificate.
