I've seen them live in Japan. They do all the stops live. Flawless. At speed. Juko, vocals and guitar, weird the songs, even the drum parts. These parts are given to Saito (drums and vocals), and Misaki (bass and vocals). They learn them and makes ensues!
Welcome to Sokoninaru! Absolutely mind blowing creativity and skills. I hope you check out more from them! I suggest Lament Moment and Gou Ni Moyu next 🖤
They're like a musical version of teaching a 16 year old to drive stick shift. Except, these guys do everything on purpose. Glad to see them getting love. They're one of my favorite bands for sure.
Requester here, super glad you enjoyed it! They're truly virtuosos, and I sincerely cannot even fathom how their creative / writing process works haha. Again, thanks for checking it out and please keep up the awesome content

Sokoninaru:band pazzesca!
yeah this is a great band, and unique sound. so-called "math rock." absolutely love this band. it seems the rock bands from japan are among the best in the world atm. (might want to check out "band-maid" - another Japanese rock band making incredibly good, more traditionally sounding hard rock (with pop, metal, jazz, punk, and other influences); the band happens to be all-female, which you'd never guess from hearing them.)
Kinda weird that no one has mentioned yet that they have both playthrough and commentary (sadly no english subs) playthrough videos on their own youtube site for this song. ua-cam.com/users/sokoninaru ua-cam.com/video/9zf2OWEaa2o/v-deo.html At least for me that Drum commentary video without any cuts works better. Maybe my most played band atm. They don't have that many original songs on youtube, but the amount of quality covers they have uploaded on their channel is pretty nice.
If you like the japanese styles that are just insane right now... try Asterism for a 3 piece instrumental band that will blow your mind. Asterism - Dawn live.. is a good place to start. I can't recommend it enough. Especially the last 2 minutes.
Let me help your explanation....i see that you loose some episodes in music. You didn't know Chon, Polyphia?? This genre that guys and girl plays is similar to these two bands like 2 glasses of water from the same spring. I call it as atmospheric djent metal like or industrial pop if you like.Something that but i didn't know this band and it surprised me full !!! So nice tight trio!! Seems that they do hard work behind !! Thanks to Alechandro!!
@@AndrewRooneyDrums And to you of course!! You spent alot of time to do these videos with love and jokes instead of them , you really make good job at all these videos . It's worth payed??
this band is not for the aurally epileptically-inclined lol. you can argue that cutting up the sound like this is kinda gimmicky, as even a droning car alarm can be made to sound interesting when cut up like this. i think the musicianship and overall interesting and complex composition allows the band to rise above this concern.
Glad to see you review this. I had suggested this band in an earlier comment. As you mentioned the Japanese rock music scene is going full bore. If you look at my comment in your Senri reaction, you will see a list of some of the better Japanese drummers that would be interesting to see you review.
I think I went boss-eyed watching that video. Haven't seen a Navene Koperweis video (may have missed it) Meloncholia, The World Without Us... anything from the Meinl recording is worth a watch.
Nice react sir, please react to other metal and death metal bands from Indonesia such as Edane, Deadsquad, Jasad, Death Vomit, and others. Everything was amazing. Thank you.
man this song got me thinking a lot about modern music and where we are going...i didn't like it but it does prove the point that as we move forward in time music is just blending into itself. Genres are being mixed up with alternate styles to a point where the current generations music only ever applies to the current generation. This song sounded like 5 songs all mashed together and played as fast as possible with off putting cuts and edits everywhere...not exactly a song that pleases after one listen!! And I love all music...so many genres but I've never heard anything like this before!! Gonna give it a few more listens...
Japanese bands have a really unique aesthetic that I don't think is being produced anywhere else and that's why this group is extra special to me. at the end of the day, it really is about preference but when i first heard this song it was eye-opening as to how intricate music can really get. the sheer talent to put together the songs that they do is remarkable and the fact that they seem off-putting to you really goes to show you how sokoninaru is in a league of their own.
Was excited to see you review Sokoninaru. But then was so disappointed with your review. You simply told us things we already know. Was so hoping you break down the drum bits for us un-experts. Instead nothing. So sad.
@@AndrewRooneyDrums Interesting! I can't imagine another vocal style tying this music together. I feel that shouting would sound too disjointed (in an already fractured song), growling would detract or overwhelm the structure of the music.

Yes! You can never go wrong with Sokoninaru. Please continue :)
Very cool!
the bass tone. the hard stops of silence and pure shred! this song is amazing. great video.
Yup! Incredible stuff

Glad you dug it Kyle!
Thank you for reaction! Love from Japan!

How tight must they all be to perform that live!
Definitely going to check them out further

Definitely a Dragon Force vibe and a video game music soundtrack feel. Crazy accuracy and that bass player is otherworldly. Keep up the Punnies
