Hi, just bought a D2 which has factory airbags. Did yours have the airbags? My understanding is you can reprogram base height of airbags and just change the front springs and shocks.
Hi first of all welcome to D2 life! And no mine didn't but if you want to lift the rear, what you'll need to do is put a spacer (of your choice) on the airbags, then you'll need to extend the Hight sensor rods (them things connected to the trailing Arm) to the Hight of the spacers you put in 👍
@@adventureawaits4x457 this is fantastic. I have ordered my SLS, 2” lift components. I tow a caravan so I wanted to keep the SLS for this reason. Thanks very much
@@JSH083 yeah wouldn't have a clue aye, I'm currently running 3" lift with the standard pan hard. I probably should get an adjustable at 3" but I don't have springs rubbing on chassis or body leaning towards one side... But I may do it seeing I was told multiple times I should do it at a 3" 😂
Unfortunately I dont have an video, But its pretty easy to do! Sway bar and shocks out. Get a trolley jack and lift from axle, get axle stands and support chassis, release trolley jack, then with bottle jack jam it between axle and chassis, pump till spring comes out
@@adventureawaits4x457 all good, what suspension did u go with & did u have to extend abs / brake lines crossmember spacer etc & r u still making videos
@@akira5982 in this vid I had efs but I'm currently now running Dobinsons. I may have had a faulty batch idk but it was sagged to one side. Iv done all the extensions but tbh I don't think you need to do abs extension, you can just unclip it from the mount and secure it somewhere lower. And yes and no with me videos 😂
@@adventureawaits4x457 cool i think im going with dobinsons 45mm medium duty, heard nuttin but good things, hope ya start make vids again, maybe td5 maintenance how too's👍
Great video keep them coming!
Haha with your mud flap, I lost a few in the mud 2 years ago. I found them in a spot I was stuck in one year later lol
MikeIllusion92 oh wow what a find!!
Next instal should be diff lockers i reckon then it'll even more unstopable!
Sweet vid, go the disco🤙🤙
Currently got front and rear LSD! Combined with TCS. It's pretty impressive!!
i realize it is quite randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to watch new series online ?

Have a look at what this guy did on his www.discovery2.co.uk/lift.html

Do you have the cdl in that model? i have cdl in mine, but i believe the 3 amigos has disengaged the traction control .
Matt Fraser yes I do have CDL in mine. My previous pre facelift td5 (1999) has CDL installed as well, TCS still works as normal
Nice disco!
Land Rover Zone thank you!!
What tire size are you running now with 2” lift?
LowRange running 32"s 235 85R16 once theses go, I'd go 265 75R16 or 255 85R16 if I can run it
Adventure Awaits 4x4 mine it’s also 2” lifted and I’m running 265/75R16. Best choise for tyre size (my opinion).
LowRange yes I agree with you there! My dad runs that size on his d2also
Iam have the d2 and about to change tires. So confusing about what size should be the best for 2 inch lift. 245 75r16 or 265 75 16, please help
Adventure Awaits 4x4 go 255/85/16 or 285/75/16. They fit no problem
Are you running auto or manual box
Great to see a Aussie having a go
It's a manual box 😁
Now you need a exhaust mod
Hey mate, did you have to change your front panhard after lift?
I haven't changed mine. Suspension doesn't foul on chassis so I kept it as is.
@@adventureawaits4x457 no worries, wasn't sure how much the front diff shifted across with the lift?

Was this hard to install? do you have a video on installation etc?

Do u have any clips of fitting the suspension
No sorry I don't get that clip 🙇
