    That's what I hate about traction control sometimes you just need a rear Locker. No room for spin suddenly grabbed flip you back. Where I live my Disco almost flips a lot because it's the same type of trails except a lot of it is rock and even more steep. People don't realize what it's like going up a 50-foot Hill 35 degrees with a one footstep of halfway up made of rock or just other technical Rocky bumpy steep things. Some of the UK guys who are obsessed with CDL TC only pretty much tell you that you don't know how to take the right line or how to drive right if you need a locker and I'm like no sometimes you actually need one. That's why there's flipped over Vehicles left out in the desert at these trails. All the stock Jeep rubicon's with front and rear lockers can make it like nothing. I'd love to invent my own "off road wheelie bar" hahahaha!

    • @adventureawaits4x457
      @adventureawaits4x457 Рік тому

      Yeah lockers would be awesome! Yes TCS and CDL is very capable and will get you through most places but nothing will beat an actual locker! 💪

    I recently saw a video where they removed only the front sway bar and left the rear attached. It turns out that slightly stiffer in the back forces the front with removed bar to articulate more then it did when both bars were removed. Have you ever heard of this? It's hard to find but I saw one video where a guy proved it with still pictures on a camera while driving on to multiple ramps front and rear in an axle twisting set up.

    • @adventureawaits4x457
      @adventureawaits4x457 Рік тому

      Not wrong there! Can't prove anything but my rears stay attached. I've already got enough articulation in the rear with tyres rubbing up the wheel arch. Though I am running front d2 links in the rear. And d3 links in the front with a quick link

  • @ronaldrrootiii6040

    Do you have medium or heavy duty springs? I have heavy-duty and I run no rear sway bar on the back and I can't even tell the difference it's almost annoying I kind of want to put medium back on there even though I have Rock sliders and the same bumper as you with a winch. Do you have to run heavy duty with all that stuff or can you run medium with all that extra weight? Anyway what Springs do you have?

    Well done - re-used my original rocker cover isolator washers last time around (several years ago) when I did the injector loom. This time around I'll, unfortunately, have to do the HG, so I might invest in new ERR7266 washers (13 off) this time - rubber does compress and go hard over time - therefore stops sealing! Did you know that there's another gasket I was told, ERR7155, between that aluminium plate and the underside of the rocker cover itself?

    • @intestinalworm1202
      @intestinalworm1202 2 роки тому

      @@adventureawaits4x457 The gasket is part of the oil separator: "An oil separator plate is included in the camshaft cover which removes the heavy particles of oil before the crankcase gas leaves via the camshaft cover port. The rocker cover features circular chambers which promote swirl in the oil mist emanating from the cylinder head and camshaft carrier. As the mist passes through the series of chambers between the rocker cover and oil separator plate, oil particles are thrown against the separator walls where they condense and fall back into the cylinder head via two air inlet holes located at each end of the rocker cover."
