I didn't think they made a 50cc with the one-piece cylinders, I stand corrected, you should have laid that engine down on it's side when you pushed the cylinder on, the threads on the head-studs will shave tiny pieces of metal off and fall into the crank-case if it's standing up, I just learned this myself, so don't beat yourself up over it, great video, thanks for sharing.
You can use the studs out of another bike engine as long as it's from one of the same size engine. If you have a 50cc you'll need studs' from a 50cc & the same if your engine is a 80cc.. I had a cadaver engine so I just took the studs & screwed them right in & went with the 2 part cylinder & head..
@@kaidenfrisch7990 If you can wait until tomorrow morning I think I have a few sets, let me make sure...👍 What size engine do you have because it makes a difference..??
I could never find a replacement 1 piece cyl. either.. 😪😪You're probably going to have to convert it back to a 2-Piece Cyl. set up like I had to do... It's not hard to do, just buy the studs for the new cyl. when you get the new cyl. & head & gaskets.. 👍👍🚴♂🚴♂
The engine in this video is a bad example, this person didn't mix 2 cycle oil in their gas 😢Generally speaking, these engines can go 8,000 to 10,000 miles depending on how hard & fast it's used..🚴♂️
@@omargdottin I just went from a one piece to a new two piece motor. I dont know why but its much louder now. I miss the one piece head if that had anything to do with the loudness. I took both part and its the same size piston I think. Maybe its leaking.
@@omargdottin I noticed that the one piece cylinder has a little bigger air exchange ports that gives that style just a little more performance on the top end.🚴♂️
This is a 50cc engine. I don't have the exact #'s with me at the moment, I threw my notes in the fire place when I was done..If you need the exact #'s for something your working on I can pop off the head & check for you..
@@EcoTransGaspoweredBikes yeah if you look at one of my UA-cam videos you'll see the two stroke motor trying to figure out what size piston it is and what size cylinder should I put on there trying to match up the same
I checked out your video..Yours looks like the one I just did. A good thing about the engines is they only make two sizes of pistons,it's either a 50cc or 80cc so no chance of making a mistake there, the main thing is if it's a high hole or low hole ( for long or short rod). Usually when ordering your piston & cyl. all you have to know is size 50 or 80 & high or low whole & that about it..I'll get you the general size when I get to the shop & send it to you this evening..👍

I see what you mean about the acorn nut, think ill replace mine as well. thanks man.
That piston it's a short or long hole?
Exactly much better 1st the piston in the cylinder!
Well presented. I thought you were supposed to tighten it up until it strips and then back it off a quarter turn.......
🤣🤣🤣Stop just before that..😂😂
How did u get those studs into the bottom end? Usually the one piece cylinder heads only have bolts.

How many miles do you think that little engine has done up till now

I've had good luck with the one piece head but its a bit on the pingy side.
I've had good luck with these also..It seems they starting to go that way with most of the newer engine styles...🤷♂️
In theory you have less leaks and better sitting of the cylinder ...I have one and I'm in the breakin period and I hit 36km/h just testing

how much u think they will charge me for the work at a machine shop
I can't really say.. Probably an hour for labor, if they are in a good mood maybe they'll just do it to help you out..🤷♂🤷♂
Thx 🔥🔥🔥

That cilinder and piston is 47 mm is look like mz cilinder
The MZ cilinder come 47 mm and one other one is 48 mm u recomended the 48 mm MZ cilinder for increase cilinder zises
