@ I wouldn't suggest using starting fluid any more times that you have to, starting fluid is hard on these 2-stroke engines. It ignites hot & dry & washes away the oil coverage on the cylinder wall when it first fires up. It's best to use a fuel additive like seafoam if you possibly can. A can of seafoam is usually around $10.00 & lasts for a few years; you only need it during the super cold months & you'll only use an ounce per gallon of gas. It sure beats damaging your engine & having to buy a new one & put in the work to change it out.
I've heard of that, I've gotten lucky & haven't had that problem yet ( but give it time).. I did have someone that came by a few weeks ago who's head broke in half just all of a sudden..🤷♂️
Sorry it took me so long to reply..😥No. Not unless the bike engine is running could you ( Maybe) feel any air leaking from the cylinder base gasket. Usually if the base gasket has an air leak it has a bad idle or a high uncontrollable idle. You can feel the air seep out of the head gasket because that's where the compression is made, there is not the same kind of compression being made at the base gasket.
👋 liked how simple and well explained your vids are and pretty much covered all the basics easy to understand even for the unexpected 👍 nice thanks
I'm glad they helped 👍
@EcoTransGaspoweredBikes 👍 Nice vid What to keep running in ❄️🥶 how many times to get to start is weather starting fliud good on a budget

@@matouslitera8073 Sorry to hear that 😥 Every once in a while we all get a bad one.
Will a blown cylinder gasket do the same thing?

Make one out of a aluminum can more compression.
