У меня на учебе были макеты в разрезе
надо развивать пространственное мышление учеников чтоб не надо было делать прозрачные движки
для 2 т , не для 4 т
И стоили ли усилия результата?..

Incredible demonstration of 2-stroke single-piston combustion motor. The builder is incredible. He built a combustion chamber out of transparent plexiglass and made it work. It is amazing how fast the piston is moving inside the transparent cylinder. I have a greater appreciation of combustion engines and how it has to work to generate power and torque.
The amount of Joy he experienced when it worked shows the true hardowork of an Engineer. Good work, man!!

Totally agree! I watch 2Stroke Stuffing and just don’t get what he’s trying ti do with his ports. Probably because I’m far more familiar with 4 stroke engines.
@@andylewis7360 No one gets what he is trying to do. He is doing too many things at once, has too many projects going on at once and tries to reinvent EVERYTHING from scratch. No wonder that he is running into constant issues and never sees much success with anything. He is just being way too chaotic. He should focus more on less things.
@@falco447 Yup. I think you’re right. Perhaps Alex is trying to emulate his hero Burt Munro just a little too much and do everything himself from first principles. Hopefully his new-found German friend group will help him to focus in more specific directions. He’s a good man. Success is in him. But at this rate it could take his whole life to let it come out.

Your work visualizes what an internal combustion engine looks like. I respect you for putting in so much effort for just a few minutes.
REALLY informative video that helps visualize the function of piston windows and transfer ports. I think many of those who claim to understand how a 2 stroke works are only thinking of how an engine without tranfer ports would function
Nice, I had a simson s51 when I was 16 back in 1987. East German moped. £500 on the road a Japanese moped was about £800 new. Crude but faster than the Japanese peds, there was a restriction in the exhaust header. I replaced it with one from a larger capacity mz can't remember which but I used to give 2 mates a lift out of town, 3 up no problem out on country roads. Good times 😆
We had challenges who can pack the most people on a simson. The record is 7 People!! One on the steering, 2 on the tank 3 on the actual seat and one on the package carrier...😅 awesome times!

That is so cool😄👍 I can’t believe the plastic can handle the heat for so long. The side crank case cover looks pretty cool as well. Can see the flow of oil throughout the gear box. Awesome build👍

Не всех ДВС, а только 2т, в 4т абсолютно другой принцип

Lol I saw you holding that block on the drill press and the first thing that went through my mind was "that's friggin sketchy" and not one second later it breaks loose🤣. My years as a machinist have taught me that's a _really_ bad idea, you never hold your workpiece with your hands unless it's a big part and very small drill, fingers have been lost and wrists broken by this sort of thing, be careful...

I think you know whats to do next:
Drill the size of cylinder bigger in diameter and insert a glas tube correspondingly. And of course holes for the ports need to be machined to the glaszylinder at the right positions as well. Maybe the glastube may come out of a very cold fridge and shrink fit into the slightly warmed cylinder with the increased diameter. (But first of all i would go to a glasmaker and tell him about my idea, he will have further advice. Maybe supply of chemical firms as well may know more about glas cylinders with best most precise cylindrical inner bore.)
And you could try to insert a camera sideways into a newly made camera bore in the cylinder or head as well - to try to make clearer close up fotos in slowmo.

I think he needs to drill holes around the cylinder to create path for a liquid coolant to pass through and cooloff the combustion overheating
@@stuntmedia4657 my thoughts exactly, as it just a display item a scondary system cooling system. Use maybe a large chilled reservoir of distilled and filtered water and the water may not be visible in the cylinder head.

Try liquid cooling channels in the PC and using a glass liner for the piston, with normal piston rings in the glass tube. Use borosilicate glass tube stuff, it's available as ready made tubes for laboratory equipment and you'll just have to grind it carefully to not crack it.
