@@knuckle-sandwichmma681 personally I don't knock Alvarez for his performance against Conor or his subsequent fights, it just shows the levels ahead McGregor was in 2015/16. His fight with Floyd really held his MMA career back. But for that amount of money you can't blame him

The only thing "give me" about that fight was Eddie internally begging/praying for conor to "give me" a break lol
Up there with the best performances in MMA history. Wish he’d been able to sustain the greatness for a bit longer but his run was undeniably so bloody fun to watch. Even the Conor haters secretly wish for a comeback, if he beat Chandler and then got back to a belt it would be the greatest story in mma history. Sadly, it’s no chance. Was fun while it lasted and I hope he can find peace in retirement, as I don’t think the success has made him happier so far. Think both the fans and critics miss the old McGregor who gave his soul to the game.
Eddie looked scared the entire time even in the press conference he looked intimidated, idk if that’s his natural face but even in this first clip he looked terrified while trash talking 😂
Eddie folded by not utilizing his grappling whatsoever. I'm not sure if it would've altered the outcome, but he would've had a much better chance. He looked short and small against McGregor and never had a polished enough striking game to go toe-to-toe on the feet Conor also got hella lucky that Eddie got hella lucky against RDA LW champ dos Anjos would've dismantled Conman, absolutely ran through him, and Eddie had no business winning much less KOing RDA after barely scrapping by Pettis and Melendez
People don’t get just how good Conor was. Eddie Alvarez was a dog. Chad Mendes, Aldo, Poirier, Holloway. That’s a hall of fame stretch of fighters Conor breezed through.
Yes conor did make him look stupid for his 8 minutes piss take, but eddie is no mug either, that guys been is some great fights but conor says fook off..😂😂
Who gives a sh*t. Conor is shadow of himself now. Too heavy and nothing new in the skillset to be relevant in UFC 2024. Better off sticking to movies or boxing
