@@mikeyroberts3006 I meant he was acting like he was gon be the aggressor to match lawler energy but he was being more calculated than aggressive u can see it if u watch the fight
The best part was the reporter that interviewed Nick before this fight..he was from like "knockout" magazine or some shit like and he's like "i know you're not a knockout guy" and nick was like "how do you know that" and the reporter responds "that's what is says" and looks down at this paper lol. Then the reporter said "well who knows, maybe you'll go in there and knock him flat on his face" and nick was like "yeah maybe" lmao. and that's exactly what happened.
@@beannndip69, we will never know what level Nick Diaz could have attained. It is a shame that his career was shortened, but he had some responsibility for that happening, but it would have been exciting to see him fight and grow as a fighter.
Both of the diaz brothers are amazing at baiting their opponents into gassing out while saving all of their energy to crank the heatup higher and higher as the rounds progress while their opponents get more and more tired throughout the fight.
That’s why we love the diaz brothers always fighting the best fighters and showing how much they’re not scared Unknowingly motivating everyone else to not be scared of anyone
I've watched all the Nick and Nate finishes on UA-cam and if you ever thought you didn't like those guys, watch it. Those 2 are MMA Legends, absolutely a joy to watch looking back on just how good they were. Iconic!
The Diaz brothers fight in such a crazy way lol. Both of them really are just so unique in how they fight it never gets old watching Nick or Nate fight.
Ref was even saying something like, stop talking and keep fighting. It was such a crazy fight and didn’t realize talking during fighting was “illegal”😅🤦♂️
Both brothers are extremely kind people. They paid for Arbbys for everyone of us in line one time. Didn’t eat anything themselves because they were training but a little cousin they had loved it. If you see either of them around the Shark Tank, just wave, they’ll most likely wave you over and be respectful and they’ll return it 10 fold. Forever rooting for them both.
a bear that took dnt with joe changed the meaning so dont worry joes right again because of dmt. almost got scared this time but joe explained it to me when we took dmt
In an interview he said he was worried about getting starched out Cold by Robbie, so he didn't want to give him a chance to build his cocky confidence and get momentum, all that shit talkin an antics actually because he respected Robbie's ability as a fighter and was worried
It's the pace and pressure Diaz puts on you too. He isn't throwing all hard shit. It's quality and quantity once he gets you THEN he starts digging in to the body and head. Plus the shit talk on top of it
Everyone always says nate is the better diaz brother but they don't realize that nick was actually the more technically sound and powerful fighter of the two
I remember the reporter before the fight saying to Nick “well because we know you aren’t going to knock him out” and Nick stopped then said “why won’t I?” Then just grinned as if to say “boy do I got something coming for you” 🤣
Fun fact DEFCON numbers go down in terms of increased threat level. DEFCON 1 pretty much means all hell has broken loose and gone nuclear whereas DEFCON 5 is pretty much situation normal, no imminent threats.

Rogan loves the Diaz brothers
Rogan loves the Diaz brothers for a reason 😅
Everyone does
I love them ❤️
Yeah thats why Nick is the intro to his podcast 😂
His tongue is so far up their asses..... because that's the type of guys he wishes he was
Diaz was smart as hell he knew lawler was the more aggressive guy so he faked his aggression to bait a young lawler
Faking? Diaz are real bro
Did he fake knocking him out
@@mikeyroberts3006 I meant he was acting like he was gon be the aggressor to match lawler energy but he was being more calculated than aggressive u can see it if u watch the fight

Robbie: " You aren't a knockout artist."
Nick: *Proceeds to murder him mentally and physically*

Fuck man. Too bad we'll never see this again.
i think we’ll see it. newer fighters will mimic all time great trash talkers like the Diaz’s and McGregor
@@goaartso we‘ll Never See this again …
I’m sure you can watch the whole fight online somewhere
Sean Strickland is new one.
@@goaartthat’s basically the point. No one will do it like them lol
Chasing Robbie down was cold a fuck
Nick and Nate are WARRIORS... tough as they come
DEFCON 5 is the lowest
Bruh was just about to say this. Lmfao . Defcon 1 would have been the answer haha
I was looking for this comment. 👍
I made the same comment. Peeps need to be more up on their defcon levels 😂
I came to the comments to see who else caught it.
😂 but understood 😂
Nick was the greatest. They screwed him at his best. It was total Bull
Dude was decent but the best smh

@@beannndip69man played w robbie lawler in his prime. Hes definitely one of the greatest if he doesnt have to miss so much time because of weed
@jaredmitchell4412 ehh he was alright I think the reason people hold him in such high regards ,is because of his personality, just like nate
Toyed with Anderson
We will never see a duo like the Diaz bros again😔

Nick and Nate Diaz are some of the most underrated fighters in the ufc and Nate marquart
Fighting is physical as well as mental. Heavy on the mental.
I've watched all the Nick and Nate finishes on UA-cam and if you ever thought you didn't like those guys, watch it. Those 2 are MMA Legends, absolutely a joy to watch looking back on just how good they were.

Everyone gets the Defcon levels wrong
Defcon 5 💀
😭😭😭😭
It’s sad that ufc really didn’t allow Nick to become an all time great
I remember when UFC bought Strikeforce Nick was bummed we were all bummed, Dana took away our champ and Nick new that would happen.
The Diaz brothers fight in such a crazy way lol. Both of them really are just so unique in how they fight it never gets old watching Nick or Nate fight.
Yeap, all endurance, nonstop punches, an if u try to grab onto them they choke you out, and tell you you're a bitch while they do it 😂

We all know Nick Diaz is a street fighter he takes it and he dishes it out

That was a crazy knockout too cause Lawler literally tried to stay up but he fell so clean.
I love Nick Diaz. There’s something about him, that just warms my soul.
Robbie looked so pissed in that fight 😂
defcon scale … 1 is the max
So he didn't take it all the way then
@alancastilleja6394Frl, I was confused when I searched this up and DEFCON 5 meant it was a peacetime instead of a state of way
a bear that took dnt with joe changed the meaning so dont worry joes right again because of dmt. almost got scared this time but joe explained it to me when we took dmt
Robbie really did the Flair Flop on em 😂
Nick my favorite fighter
Nick has always been my fav of all time! Those strikeforce days he was a killer!!!! His career was taken over weed and that 5 yr suspension

Defcon 5 is the lowest threat level. It goes from 1 - 5 with 1 being the highest. The more you know 💫
Defcon 5 is time of peace.
Nick is a highly skilled fighter
The beasts runs in the family (win) or (lose)🥊
When you talk to someone whose ass you're kicking is what I call a capital ass kicking
I instantly became a Nick Díaz fan since he fought BJ Penn in 2011, and of course a fan of his brother Nate later on.
Defcon 5 = total peace.
Nates got pillows for hands nick had bricks
That time when Joe Rogan was completely unaware that DEFCON 5 was "normal peacetime".......

The Diaz brothers talk such good fucking shit
One of my favourite MMA fights of all time. We all knew him as a Gracie BJJ black belt and had no idea he could do that with his hands.
DEFCON 5 is the least threatening
DEFCON 1 is the most threatening
I’m sure someone already told joe
Always love for the Diaz boys. Crazy mfers
Nick is my favorite Diaz
defcon 5 is the least dangerous defcon
I remember the reporter before the fight saying to Nick “well because we know you aren’t going to knock him out” and Nick stopped then said “why won’t I?” Then just grinned as if to say “boy do I got something coming for you” 🤣

Nick- 20.
DEFCON 5 is peace, Joe.

Nick's fights bring such a deep nostalgic feeling.
Joey Diaz’s two sons Nick and Nate are killas son.
Fkn ridiculous ban of greater talents 😢
Man I miss those days
Nick when you getting back in the octagon you got screwed but we want to still see you fight again bro
Young Nick and Young Robbie lawd
Robbie got his in the end. Made Nick look so bad he basically faded out of existence afterwards.

Even though he said "DEFCON 5" we knew what he meant lol

I Love the Diaz Brothers, Awesome fighter 's!!!!!
“Stockton Mfer”🐐
Fav fighter
Mine too!
You also have to consider that Lawler wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer.
That’s that Stockton California✅
The DEFCON system's lowest threat level is DEFCON 5, while DEFCON 1 represents the highest threat level: readiness for war.
Nick is a god
Frank Shamrock said he just couldn’t believe this kid was talking so much smack. He had a bemused look on his face while they were fighting.
The defcon level goes down with severity defcon 1 being the most extreme
Only a few brain cells in this video and the comment section.
Some people fight and some people are fighters
Shout the Diaz brothers haha 💯
Ni k Diaz is the original OG!!!
That’s street fighting stuff.
the best diaz brother!
Defcon 5 is the lowest level of readiness, lmao
Joe. Sincerely, learn that defcon 5 is the least dangerous
It's sad to see him now. Depression and alcohol
Out boxed Lawler....👊
Definitely talk the talk and walk the walk
Defcon levels work the other way, Joe
Defcon levels start at 5 and go to 1 which is actually the most dangerous level->war
