      @@1997mclarencongo I never said that one question was sexist, that was a good question. Their answers are problematic because what's inherently the problem with a promiscuous daughter? That concern is more applied to young women than men. Additionally, several admitted their wives were doing all the prep for the arrival of the baby and they were just doing business as usual, which is a holdover of archaic societal gender roles where fathers don't help around the house / with kids equally. I could go on, but I feel that clarifies my point sufficiently, hope that helps

    • @Savannah-
      @Savannah- Рік тому

      @@jedinight235 All terms are "made up" for people. Cis is just a latin prefix that means "on this side of", it's simply a way to refer to non-transgender people. It's a neutral term, there's nothing offensive about it. An extreme minority have decided to take offense because of their own wacky views on gender and transgender people. The vast majority are fine w it, stop telling people what they can and can't say based on a handful of weirdo opinions.
      Also, the LG and B have nothing to do with gender. You can't compare being misgendered with being called cis. Misgendering is calling someone something they're not. Cisgender people DO identify as people who agree with their assigned sex at birth which is all cis means. Should we stop saying straight because a couple fuckhead straight people get mad that we're implying there's something other than straight that's valid so it offends them? Go away.

    Kind of crazy that people justify infant genital mutilation because they want them to "look like me"

      ikr! some fathers feel uncomfortable teaching their sons how to take care of an uncircumcised penis if the fathers are uncircumcised

      With all the praise for the dads, it seemed like everyone skipped over this.

      You must understand, not only does their nonexistent god demand it, but it would also make them uncomfortable if the child had foreskin while they vividly imagine their children having sex. It's entirely normal to believe in the nonexistent and to vividly imagine children having sex. Yep, these people are *completely* normal.

    If the guys are reading this comment, it's good to have a crew to lean on. Moms have mommy circles. Dads should too.

    So sad that the majority is going to circumcise just because the dad has been, has nothing to do with the child and ur literally mutilating them

      There are studies showing circumcision lowers risk of STIs exponentially. Respect their decision just like others will respect your decision not to circumcise your son.

    These circumcision comments are not it. One thing is to prefer one vs the other but to belittle and act as if having foreskin is inherently “bad” doesn’t rub me the right way. I’m not here to tell you what to choose but be kind and open minded when talking about it.
