@@jedinight235 anyways… no one said there wasn’t any benefits I’m saying it’s alarming that there doing a life changing procedure before the owner of said penis an have a say in it

Not searing but really pisses you the fuck off It can last months. Sometimes you need to see a doctor and you gotta go through the embarrassment of having a doctor look through your foreskin n shit. But I have had friends who have been circumcized who have had the same hygiene issues (that's how you get balanitis is by shit hygiene which all young boys have) when they were younger too, and they never had that issue. its so weird how infant genital mutilation is so normalized in the us. entire groups of people up in arms bc "gay people are performing surgeries on children's genitals", but when it comes to messing with a baby's penis, its totally ok for parents to cut it up for their aesthetic pleasures
It’s soooooo weird, especially since a lot of them bring up the fact that they had it done to them so they want their child to be cut too, which is just strange? Wouldn’t you prefer to have that choice later in life rather than having it decided for you??
This was a great video and these guys seem wonderful but damn, I cannot get past how many of us Americans are so comfortable with circumcision. This is a part of a person's body. Taking that away is so stupid. I feel just the same about when people pierce their baby's ears. Bodily autonomy, man... gosh.
Truthfully anyone is going to do as they please because it’s their kid. There’s pros and cons to both sides of circumcising I believe the main point was infections and cleanliness, at the end of the day it’s their decision. Can’t do much about it. A lot of the time it has to do with culture and religion, and we have to respect that as well.
@@iveseenstrangerthings There are only cons. At the end of the day, it shouldn't be their decision just like they should not have the option to remove a baby's limb when it is non medically necessary.
more than 60% of Americans are circumcised and mostly they just do it because they themselves were cut, as the guy said in the video "like a me 2.0" the other half does it for the religious reason, but why keep doing it for non religious reasons? Cut rate in Europe here is like less than 13% across countries and I myself am not cut. It's not like the skin is useless, it has a function. A lot of people complain about being unwillingly cut
Because it’s so common that most people don’t think about anything contrary to their own experiences. Those conversations aren’t common either. I wasn’t aware that I was even circumcised until I was a teen learning about anatomy and found out that foreskin was a thing.
There is a good health reason for being circumcised and has to do with increased potential of infection even as a toddler. I think what is nature intended should remain and parents should clean the child properly and teach the little boy proper hygiene from an early age.
@@fatcatontario: That's not a good reason because you are also taking away something that has protective and stimulative functions. IF the toddler has an infection, only THEN you can consider the option to surgically remove it. Not as a prophylaxis but as an acute intervention.

@@AngelHoliday275 the “thot daughter” comments.... So what if you have a young woman who’s in charge of her own sexuality? How does that affect her father in any way? It plays into the whole “fatherless behaviour” narrative.
@@gjcanada7454 Oh probably just because thot women are disgusting. If a woman can't have any respect for herself why should anyone else? U can disguise it as "being in charge of her sexuality" but it's legitimately nasty. These "in charge" women are broken, and carry these things with them for the rest of their lives. Promiscuity is unsavory on both ends, don't get me wrong. Men and women shouldn't just sleep with whoever, but if you think it's the same you've just got some growing up to do.
The question about the gay son or sexually active daughter really bothered me. I have always loved how accepting this channel has been but that question was offensive in it's context.

This one was fun! Great bunch of new to be dads❤ Though gotta say, based on all the answers Ben had the responses I’d most look for and want from my partner re: coming home/working late check in, circumcising, pregnancy sex 😂
Indeed because it's cruel mutilation. But just like labour rights, healthcare, public transport and measurement standards, Americans are behind the times and stick to tradition rather than what is logical and ethical.
@@aawillma Uhhh I hate to tell you this but that's not actually true. A while ago like in 2018 or 2017 a federal judge declared that banning female genital mutilation is also unconstitutional. I'm pretty sure it's up to the states now if they want to create laws against it. But it's also allowed.
All these men are 💯💯 Sad to say, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many men in one place who are as emotionally intelligent, dedicated, and respectful as these men were to each other and are towards their partners and their soon to be kids. Real respect for them.
Honestly disappointed in this video because of the circumcision question. Its not normal and it should not be promoted on social media like this. Mutilating children is not something to joke about and not something that should be normalized at all.
Just on the off question, I'm assuming your also not okay with child sex change surgery? Not trying to argue with you I am just asking. Don't care if you are or aren't.
The slut shaming and even that question was uncalled for. The only concern over promiscuousness is if she’s safe and if she has a low self esteem. Kids need to know the dangers, but other than that you shouldn’t treat your daughter having sex differently than your son.
I think everyone is taking the gay son/thot daughter question wrong (based on Cut's intention -- the wording is still poor and suggests comparison). Rather than equating being gay to being promiscuous, and this is where the son/daughter difference is important and not just insensitive, but they are traditionally EQUALLY scary or uncomfortable for a FATHER -- a stereotypical male parental figure. ~ The standard manly man relationship between father and son ~ The standard protection and view of innocence from father to "daddy's little girl" It isn't intended to push the idea that only a son can be gay or that only a gay son would pose an issue and not a gay daughter (visa versa: only a daughter can be promiscuous or that only a promiscuous daughter would pose an issue and not a promiscuous son)
You must understand, not only does their nonexistent god demand it, but it would also make them uncomfortable if the child had foreskin while they vividly imagine their children having sex. It's entirely normal to believe in the nonexistent and to vividly imagine children having sex. Yep, these people are *completely* normal.
There are studies showing circumcision lowers risk of STIs exponentially. Respect their decision just like others will respect your decision not to circumcise your son.
These circumcision comments are not it. One thing is to prefer one vs the other but to belittle and act as if having foreskin is inherently “bad” doesn’t rub me the right way. I’m not here to tell you what to choose but be kind and open minded when talking about it.

Didn't like the "gay son vs thot daughter" question. Gay is more like how you were born and thot can be more about others perception of a woman's promiscuity
As an uncircumcised American, Americans can be so backwards in their understanding of circumcision. Having a foreskin isn’t so uncommon as y’all would think - South and Central America, Europe, Asia - there are loads of men walking around with their willies intact.

I’m glad my parents did it to me
Let the kid decide for themselves. You can always do it later but you can never reverse it.
Americans doing it at birth is still a practise we are trying to adopt cause the way its done here is worse. At birth is 100% the better option

the other half does it for the religious reason, but why keep doing it for non religious reasons?
