Speaking of adults living with their parents, I would love to see a video to push back on the stigma around that. There are so many reasons why people live w their parents, and in other cultures, multi-generational living is actually encouraged!
I’m an older Baby Boomer. In my youth in this country, we moved to our own places when we were in our early twenties. Rents were affordable even to those making small salaries. These days, however, rents are exorbitant. It’s understandable that young adults can’t afford to move away from their parents’ homes.
I’m 28 and still living with my parents. I have severe depression so I’m scared to be alone, since I am suicidal at times. Being with my family has helped me. I’m moving out in 6 months, after I get married and it’s scary.
@@CeeradsThank you for understanding. So many people don’t and they can have really negative opinions of adults who live with their parents rn. I had to move back in with my mom because when inflation happened what was barely scrapping by every month even with a 2.5% annual raise, $17.04 pay, a promotion and a boss who kept complaining that the people he was trying to get into our understaffed fedex office store were insane for asking for a starting pay of more than $15. I couldn’t afford to pay rent, buy food, tampons, toilet paper, internet and I was still working 50 hour weeks. I couldn’t take it anymore and my mind just snapped. I ended up having a mental breakdown and ended up in a mental institution because I was suicidal. I would often tell coworkers that I just felt like I wanted to die because I was so tired of struggling. The crazy thing was they agreed. I held onto my apartment with every last shred of my dignity until there was none left and I was told I couldn’t renew my lease and I would have to leave. That’s when I moved in with my mom. Not sure about the sweet part if you are not judging based looks. She hinted strongly that she will put her mom at a home (a truly sweet person will said yes instantly).
@@anb2526 The reason for that reply is because the girl did nothing that stands out as sweet in the video. Genuine yes, sweet definitely no, other than her looks.
The Mexican dad is so blunt and honest, and that's something I try to be too. I can't help but respect that guy. It might have been hard to grow up with him at times, but that is something I respect so much. Maybe that's because I didn't have much of that, I dunno.
The word should be "easiest child". When you say one of your kid is the favorite it puts into the other ones' heads that they can never reach that 'favorite' title no matter what.
Favorites a strong word tho, he could’ve said “Rays the one I identify with.” Or “Ray and I got along best.” Etc. “But I love them all the same, and respect the new things the others show me about life.” Or something like that.
Russian mama said it best and dont ever feel bad about still living with a mama that loves u sooo much. Appreciate this time bc she seems soo freaking happy as she said to just be with you ❤
The best series - so happy to have found this. Families don't talk. I remember wishing that, when growing up, we could have some challenging conversations like this as a family without anyone leaving hating each other or feeling unsupported. These are beautiful conversations. I know some families would never be able to have these kind of discussions, and for those kids who have parents that are never going to care for them the way they wish they could -- accept your parents for who they are and find your family in the world. There are a lot of really nice people out there.
"it doesn't matter what you gonna do, what u gonna get, i will still love u sm" every child deserves this kind of unconditional love and security from their parents
I love that you had a Russian family in this video! I would love more representation from Slavic cultures; I feel like that part of the world is underrepresented in our media!
if my parents didn’t treat me like the cause of all their life problems and that i’m just a burden, i would’ve loved to let them live w me when they’re older
I share this sentiment. As much as I’d hate to put them in a home, I don’t think my childhood self would ever heal completely. I’m sorry for your experience and sending you love🤍🤍🤍
It’s hard not knowing how to approach or let know you guy’s without making you feel so bad about yourself. At times we believe that if we just express it it might be changing positively but not often turns out like that.
Just shows you how much we as somebody's kid live in our heads thinking we arent doing right only to hear the comfort of our parents saying they are proud.
I don't know what perceptions i had of Russian mums. The only ones I had seen was in media. But I was totally wrong. She was compassionate, kind and totally open
There’s a lot of stereotypes of Russians in media, so I think it’s a common misperception. As a Russian, I’m so happy they included a Russian family here! Love to see real representation
I love the Russian mother, her innocent humour is so cute. I wish Vancouver, Canada had a show like cut. I think I've seen every episode now. lol. xoxo ps. when I'm in Seattle next time for my long stay I'm totally emailing you guys :;D .
MOST parents don’t see it as “my children have to do as much as I did and work as much and struggle as much just so I can be proud”… MOST parents are HAPPY with their kids being healthy happy and comfortable.
Rafaella and Jasmine look more like sisters than mother and daughter. They're both stunning too! Speaking of, why would Rafaella have a problem with Jasmine having sex in the house? I never understood why so many parents have a problem with that. Who wouldn't want their kids to do it in a safe and familiar environment? If I was a parent, I'd feel much better about my kids having sex in our house than some place I don't know.
Foreign mommy is so supportive. She really did go through so much to migrate there. Her kid shouldnt feel a type of way, but Its very important to keep your life existence in mind based on where your parents hopefulness prior. Maybe you didnt want to be born, whatever- I feel that way, but I also understand people are born in different households and have far different perspectives I couldn't fathom. Think about it.
Love the Russian mom great personality strong character and she’s just a really loving mother who doesn’t care about status but will willingly fight any battles her daughters are going through that’s the vibe I got from her. The father really reeled me in with his favorite child but also all the emotions he went through with all the questions. And the other mom was just all out unprepared for all of these which made it even funnier when she was shocked
Russian mother seemed to be not the best at first imo but when it came to caring about her kids in general, she was very much there. She even tried to use her fingers to help explain that she cant pick a favorite. Also shoutout to the Mexican son for reaching out to his Dad when he needed it. Go to Mexico w him fr
Loved the mother latina mother and daughter. Also, the Russian mom saying comparing love for your kids, is like saying you like one of your fingers more than another. It is nonsense. We have such a HUGE capacity for love.
Man at 8:24 and the idea of living with parents in 30's I relate to that so much. I just moved out of my parents and I'm 31 and I couldn't do it alone I'm with a roommate. It's hard out there.
I've discovered this channel like a few days ago, and I can't stop watching videos from it. The vibe are so good, after watching this you can't feel bad you can only feel great. Keep doing this work
Honestly this video made me a little more proud to be Eastern European. We get a lot of bad press, but there are a lot of amazing and interesting people from there. They aren’t all angry, grumpy people

@@cnaizhen being sweet isnt incompatible with not wanting the pressure of being an elder's care taker. It's not an easy response to give.
@@anb2526 The reason for that reply is because the girl did nothing that stands out as sweet in the video. Genuine yes, sweet definitely no, other than her looks.
What other videos has she been in
Russian mom was my fave outta this video... maybe even all the parents/children truth or drink videos😂. I feel for Jessie's insecurities 😢
The Mexican dad is so blunt and honest, and that's something I try to be too. I can't help but respect that guy. It might have been hard to grow up with him at times, but that is something I respect so much. Maybe that's because I didn't have much of that, I dunno.
There's nothing wrong with having a favourite child. Just treat them equally.
Admitting it causes a complex though
Why would you admit it though? It’s pretty dysfunctional to say. Personally I stand by the words of the Russian lady
Fairly I would say is the word
The word should be "easiest child". When you say one of your kid is the favorite it puts into the other ones' heads that they can never reach that 'favorite' title no matter what.
Favorites a strong word tho, he could’ve said “Rays the one I identify with.” Or “Ray and I got along best.” Etc. “But I love them all the same, and respect the new things the others show me about life.” Or something like that.
The Russian mom and girls remind me so much of me my mom and my sister. All families were beautiful to watch ❤
Russian mama said it best and dont ever feel bad about still living with a mama that loves u sooo much. Appreciate this time bc she seems soo freaking happy as she said to just be with you ❤
russian mom is adorable ! she’s such a proud and understanding mom
it's really nice to see different family dynamics here.
I get major "Red from Orange is the new black" vibes from the Russian Mom ! Love her !
The two in the purple are the funniest most AMAZING mother daughter duo EVER
8:43 that brunette Russian daughter, I feel you so much you’re not alone
The Russian mom really loves her daughters she’s so supportive 🥹🤍🫶🏼
the russian mom is giving me zemfira vibes, I want her as a life coach
We loveeeee Zemfira!!!!
I agree!
Obsessed with the Russian mom and her two daughters but honestly everyone this episode was really great!
We appreciate this channel’s innovation with their challenges. They’re certainly the best at it.
if my parents didn’t treat me like the cause of all their life problems and that i’m just a burden, i would’ve loved to let them live w me when they’re older
I share this sentiment. As much as I’d hate to put them in a home, I don’t think my childhood self would ever heal completely. I’m sorry for your experience and sending you love🤍🤍🤍
I hope u and ppl in the thread heal as much as u can. Ur feelings are valid
It’s hard not knowing how to approach or let know you guy’s without making you feel so bad about yourself. At times we believe that if we just express it it might be changing positively but not often turns out like that.
Just shows you how much we as somebody's kid live in our heads thinking we arent doing right only to hear the comfort of our parents saying they are proud.
idkk
Girl, stay home as long as possible. I miss being home paying the lightest of bills. Being around love everyday 😢
1:20 my mom definitely broke that rule. She gave me the sex talk. I honestly appreciate that my mom and I have such great communication
I immediately started crying when the Mexican dad started to talk about his passed son
I don't know what perceptions i had of Russian mums. The only ones I had seen was in media. But I was totally wrong. She was compassionate, kind and totally open
I don't think you'd be alone in that perception! I'm glad you saw that in her, she's the best ❤
There’s a lot of stereotypes of Russians in media, so I think it’s a common misperception. As a Russian, I’m so happy they included a Russian family here! Love to see real representation
I loved the Russian Family, I related to their relationship with their Mom 💜
It's truly a blessing!
This is such a great therapy for all of them. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Well done again Cut 👍🏾👏
I love the Russian mother, her innocent humour is so cute. I wish Vancouver, Canada had a show like cut. I think I've seen every episode now. lol. xoxo
ps. when I'm in Seattle next time for my long stay I'm totally emailing you guys :;D .
The russian mom is so sweet, seeing how supportive she is..
The last answer for the Russian mama and her daughters hit me, as, while not quite in that age bracket yet, I'm the same with my parents. So loving.
I really hope the boy will go with his father to Mexico it would mean the world to the father as we can tell and they would have so much fun
Love the Russian mom great personality strong character and she’s just a really loving mother who doesn’t care about status but will willingly fight any battles her daughters are going through that’s the vibe I got from her. The father really reeled me in with his favorite child but also all the emotions he went through with all the questions. And the other mom was just all out unprepared for all of these which made it even funnier when she was shocked
the russian mother is so funny😂😂 love her!!
Awww all the parents seem so sweet❤️
Omg this episode made me CRY, so sweet ❤ bless immigrant parents
Russian family was so cute
Russian mother seemed to be not the best at first imo but when it came to caring about her kids in general, she was very much there. She even tried to use her fingers to help explain that she cant pick a favorite. Also shoutout to the Mexican son for reaching out to his Dad when he needed it. Go to Mexico w him fr
Younger Mexican man seems sooo emotionally intelligent ❤
I started the video laughing, and I ended it crying my ass off, holy sh*t and god bless these people.
Loved the mother latina mother and daughter.
Also, the Russian mom saying comparing love for your kids, is like saying you like one of your fingers more than another. It is nonsense. We have such a HUGE capacity for love.
i loved the Russian mom, I teared up 🥹
I loved the Mexican dad and son 🥺
The Mexican dad looks like such a sweetheart omg😢 I know he gives good hugs
This episode had me in tears. Couldn't imagine doing this with my parents 😢 but it was a beautiful episode watching them do this.
Keep doing this work
That Russian mom seems so cool lmao, she's more like their friend than their mom XD
She's very cool! And definitely a perfect mix of both ❤
Honestly this video made me a little more proud to be Eastern European. We get a lot of bad press, but there are a lot of amazing and interesting people from there. They aren’t all angry, grumpy people
The russian mama touched my heart, she's a freakin' cool ass lady
