Yeah the fact that he interrupted Eli and skipped right over him immediately made me think it was him. I was surprised too the group didn't see that. To be honest the further it went on and everyone seemed to like him I forgot about my initial suspicions and was wondering who it was at the end. Just goes to show, always trust your instincts.

The psychologist didn’t mention that while it’s often easy to spot a sociopath, the scary thing about psychopaths is that they are really good actors and know what acting normal looks like.
Ive had 4 people in the pool at the start. I had 2 people at the end, i was right Psychopath seems to create a character too fitting to his appearance, almost like a reality tv character and is very confident, everybody else is not a character portrayal but random traits life brings them.
Both these are old diagnoses that aren't used anymore, probably in part because they have very similar tendencies and are more of a spectrum than clear categories. At least, I thinks so because every time I hear someone say "the difference between sociopath and psychopath" they have a different interpretation of what each is like.
When Jay talked about him voting for himself and if he wouldn’t do that he would have talked himself out of it. Straight up psychopath vibes. Had it all planned out.
No, he got you. The psychopathic trait was to say HE influenced the outcome even though he did not. Even without his own vote he would have been voted out. Nobody counts it seems...
The girl with the most issues also happened to be the most charmed by the psychopath which shows the kind of victim-abuser type releationshios psychos are seen in.
AND YOU know what’s crazy, it actually makes perfect sense why Jay is the psychopath. In the beginning of the video, he He disregarded his surroundings by talking before Eli, said everything everyone would have wanted to hear, was popular amongst the group, and make jokes, knowing that people would love to them. Honestly, though, it’s still kind of shocking.
He claims himself to be a public speaker in the video too. Public speakers have training in communication skills and have to be top notch tier of all public speaking, but Jay f'cks up immediately during an introduction. The reason was he saw that Eli had some narcissistic elements to his personality and then capitalise on it to survive another round. You see how it works now?
Totally. I think that's why they can fool people so easily. I noticed that the blond girl said 'I love you!" when he said he'd get a girl fries and ice cream if she was sad. She seemed very empathetic, and they are prime targets for psychopaths/narcissists.
When you look back they were all showing signs of nervousness or guarded behaviour which is normal given they are on camera. Eli was fidgety, moving around, some putting their puts in front of themselves, some crossing their arms in nervous way. The only one that displayed zero nervousness was Jay. Sat their calmly in one spot, all his behaviours so smooth.
Actually this one could be just experience. I have years of experience training people so I feel 0 nervousness in front of people I do not know, since it is just a usual Monday for me.
As someone who unknowingly dated a psychopath in the past, i immediately knew it was Jay. It's wild how they are able to turn on the charisma and work a room.
Yeah I have a relative we think is a sociopath and at a family wedding recently he was charming the socks off people. So anyone here who gave only good answers, made me suspect. It's just too hard to tell from an event like this
People seem to not know that psychopaths are master manipulators. Not knowing how to convince someone that you are not a psychopath is most likely a sign you are not a psychopath, kinda strange how the psychologist didn’t know, or didn’t use that information
I would have probably been able to explain why I'm not a psychopath because I am interested in psychology and I know the characteristics. The other thing is whether I could describe it well in front of other people (due to nervousness) 😀
Man the first person I thought before they even spoke was Jay and then I was like "no way, I'm judging him by the looks, I shouldn't do that. It's not him"
Yeah I thought it was him too initially, but then ruled him out because I thought he looked like one. Thought they would’ve chosen someone less suspect, so I chose the Bambi girl. So much for overthinking!
I find it interesting that Valerie, one of the three people the psychologist suspected in the beginning, was the only one who consistently voted for Jay from the beginning. Valerie girl, your intuition is spot on! You have obviously learned from your past experiences with these kinds of people. Well done!
I lived my entire life with people who i found out later to be diagnosed with asp. I learned a lot about it the past 6yrs and can spot them if i have to spend time with them in any way but to see it on such short notice is truly remarkable. I didn't see it
I think he was diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder but yeah people didn't want to judge him and thought maybe he was too obvious of a choice and it was someone you wouldn't suspect.
@@HannahRosetheVeganNomad I didn't say that, in fact narcissists are like that too. You can believe what you will, it is you who have to live with the psychopaths if you justify them and don't recognize them. But I am right.
I think it's really gross that most of the traits people suspected were traits of social anxiety or autism. Like people know psychopaths are charming but they still suspected everyone who was reserved. There's such a social bias against introverts.
@@stampandscrap7494 but that doesn't have anything to do with being an introvert. These are traits that have nothing to do with whether you're an introvert, extrovert or abvermt (idk how to spell it but you know what i mean) since being an introvert means social interaction drains you and you recharge by being alone, introverts just *happen* to have these traits and sometimes they aren't actual introverts, it's just they posses the mentioned traits so they think it's an introvert thing.
@@Lauren-wp2pz Being drained by social interaction and introversion are both symptoms someone who is just a bit different than the rest of the herd in some ways and can't easily fit in, so they put on a mask which is very exhausting.

Also there isn't many diagnosed psychopaths out there that are willing to participate in the show. For me the chances of him being a psychopath was higher from the start
I was suspicious of Jay from the beginning. Red flags for me: 1. His indifference after interrupting Eli 2. Him trying to divert attention towards Hope and implying that she was the psychopath without any evidence. Regular people are not that quick to point fingers until they have some evidence 3. Constant smugness even while trying to say flowery words 4. Volunteer at the animal shelter, 'Momma's boy', watch the Oscars together, watch movies together 3 times a week -- these comments collectively sounded saccharine and cringey
Yes, especially the last few points. He really exaggerated the I'm just a nice handicapped elderly man who cares for everyone persona. And the smugness 😹
I just had one as my boyfriend. What a nightmare. This sounds so much like him. Mother issues for sure, the smugness, pure evilness.. Norman Bates vibes for sure.
I'm pretty convinced that he interrupted Eli deliberately in order to hopefully have people cast suspicions at Eli based on his reaction, just like the psychologist did

Honestly I felt him looking like an old biker threw me off like I was projecting classism. Like "that guy has on a jean vest with tattooed arms and a ponytail, which is a caricature of a 1960s criminal, so he wont be the psycho itd be too obvious."
I’m not even lying, the second I heard Jay speak I was immediately suspicious. He had a lot of confidence and went before that other guy without even realizing. Public speaker was also suspicious because psychopaths are often articulate, confident, and charming. Weird how not a lot of people guessed him.
Public speakers also have topnotch communication skills, interrupting someone during an introduction is a red flag for someone who would be in such career. They would never interrupt like that. The only thing that caused issues was Eli does seem somewhat narcissistic which the psychopath picked up on immediately and used to his advantage.
Yes! When he interrupted Eli and didn't even looked or pretended to be apologetic was the thing that brought my attention to him. And then he just had a weird vibe, the kind of chill confidence that just comes out too cocky
This reminds me of my dating times. I learned that the smooth seemingly perfect guys are the most toxic ones. And those with flaws are the actual good ones.
It was between J and Chris. Both were very calm and showed no sign of nervousness but I kinda thought it was J. My daughter did volunteer work at an animal shelter and it is very unlikely, given his physical condition, he would be able to do that kind of work.
I felt that Jay was a psychopath from the beginning when he unapologetically jumped ahead of the line instead of waiting his turn. He gave off those vibes the entire time. It's hard to believe no one noticed.
Yep...in the first few seconds as they were showing people in the line-up, before they spoke, I chose Jay. Psychopaths - like all Narcissists, believe they are special & believe everyone is beneath them. The fact he was looking unkempt compared to the others & sat due to a disability- yet had the pose of arrogance. Lots of people have disabilities but you can tell when they exude compassion.
Yess! And he was the "caring" guy volunteering at the dog shelter hahaha But said to the girl in the first round: "we got you out crazy girl!" Like wth
Right!! I knew from that moment it was Jay especially when he didn't apologize afterwards - then his answers all sounded way too good to be true plus he was the most charming out of the entire bunch lmfao... It's in the eyes. If you look at Jay's eyes, there are moments when he doesn't blink at all. Full stares during conversations and lack of blinking is a sign.

"You won't know unless they tell you" type of situation. Crazy how everyone thinks of psychopaths as the most reserved and introverted ppl in a group when they are usually the most charming and seemingly open and friendly.
I got it right. His over emotional answer gave it away, his strategies are in creating rapport and alliance with answers people want to hear instead of authenticity. So easy to spot.
look at 2:55 how Jays eyes changes when he is alone with the camera vs when he is around the group, they get ”evil” almost as a wink, he is playing a game and he enjoys it. He asked the question of how trustworthy people are, this is a very specific question that normal people dont think about but it is suuuper important for psychopaths since trustworthy people are far easier to manipulate. Then when he votes for himself in the last round he also likes to play this manipulation game which is a clear sign.
Okay but can we talk about the fact that not even the PSYCHOLOGIST suspected who it was Edit: Jesus, I never realized this comment I made months ago would still spark conversation. Guess people really don’t like psychologists.
People probably assumed a psychopath to be good looking.. but no he just needs to be confident and charming and not have to be physically attractive at all
Uh.... no why in the world would you think that? In fairness I always thought narcissists were good looking and psychopaths are also narcissists if memory serves.
I knew it was him from the very beginning. He just stood out to me. I guess it helps that I work in psych and have a close friend with the disorder. There is a certain lack of fear, lack of awkwardness, eye contact, lack of emotion, and gift of gab he has. I'm surprised they picked the shy awkward people.
@@ChildrensRightsFirst947 Good point. Most sociopaths I've met are just people who are carefree (lack much worry), fearless, never socially awkward or nervous, and are not violent people (even most of the jailbird diagnosed ASPD's I met who get into trouble). Everybody expects a serial killer type (which many are sociopaths, but some killers are just angry or malicious or insecure or just plain bad people).

They probably actually weren’t those things, bc it’s not that common. Anyone can display narcissistic tendencies, but that doesn’t make them a narcissist.

i haven't even assumed it was him, he was nice but also not that nice, i thought him and the two girls at the end were like a distraction because they are all in some alt outfits and it would be someone like Eli or Ryan
My stepdad is a psychopath, no one ever really suspected it. He can act normal, especially charming to general public. But when someone kinda figured him out, we'd move churches, groups, counselors etc. Scary how mean and hurtful they can be when they wanna be. This video is kind of no surprise.
I was stumped until the last round when there were I think 6 left. Jay was the only one of them with relaxed body language. All the others displayed some level of anxiousness and posture. They need to make another one of these!
i would just lay down on the floor and try to nap because this would be boring for me...also i do not understand body language nor why they would feel anxious...its not like they gave the guy a weapon, let alone him showing sign of murderous intent(didn't look or sound angry)
@@dakidokinoyes, but it’s not a formal diagnosis. Especially for children, because of the negative stigma. When I was young, I was diagnosed with “conduct disorder” which is what usually happens. Only at ages 15-18 and older, do they re-evaluate to see if it is actual aspd. Of course it can be obvious at a young age which children are psychopaths and which ones aren’t
@@dakidokinoIsn't it the reverse of that? All psychopaths have ASPD but not every ASPD diagnosis is for psychopathy. ASPD covers both that and sociopathy so someone with an ASPD diagnosis could have either sociopathy or psychopathy.
I was raised by a psychopath (sociopath, diagnosed, jn the 70s though, when it was still the original diagnosis) and the best advice i can give ANYone is a psychopath is often "on", i.e. overly friendly, someone you really think is super warm, and never really turns it off. Jay gave me chills immediately. They're unassuming, excellent liars, and have studied human behavior so very well, that the closest indicator I've found is... unfortunately.. the ones you'd least expect (for the average person). Stay safe out there. ❤
They like to play with others, like jay did, they are often extroverts and like to talk a lot and control the room, they are more object focused (how he said he'd give her ice cream and french fries) and there's a lot of patterns and je ne sais quoi. I am better at detecting narcs than psychopaths but I'm pretty good at the latter too. Problem is no one believes you. Also just the way Jay presented himself.

Yes! I was right! From the very beginning he was the person that stood out the most to me. He was the only one who wasn't nervously moving, his eyes were the most stable and he was watching and giving just enough to the conversation to not stick out. The only time I saw him get nervous was when that other guy started randomly naming him which caused him to rub his hands In a soothing manner. Then at the end when they were voting last he knew they caught him he even showed us he knew by writing it on his vote paper.
I knew it has Jay when I first saw him and only got further suspicious… he was the only one that held composure throughout the entire thing and his eyes looked dead no matter how sincere he seemed
The first time I watched this I was SURE it is not Jay and was super supprised at the end. Though I was extremely tired and it was 1am. Now watching it again it seems it should have been obvious: Jay was extremely passive agressive and confrontational towards others while talking extremely highly of himself and making ”cute little self ironic jokes” about what a ”lovely, wholesome guy he is”. Also the extensive crime history.
Ngl, when she said, "what kind of ice cream?" and he said, "you're the one crying," I was all, "ooh, too nice, he's the one." I had a close relative who was a psychopath and it was Charm City every day. I wanted Jay not to be, because I liked him. But it's always the ones you like.
I had already picked J out as the psychopath within the 1st minute. Interestingly when J said "I don't know you're the 1 crying," about what kind of icecream- that answer was too distant & lacked feeling. He was removing himself from her emotion of crying & he said it with a fraction of disgust. A truly kind person would've said "...your favourite icecream witha cherry on top to cheer you up." This would've linked the kind gesture to the eventual image of the crying girl being happy. In J's answer the image left was the girl still crying.
Same, that’s when the alarm bells started ringing in my head. Usually people would use different wording in this situation. ”You’re the one crying” sounds like you don’t truly recognize that the person is hurting and you treat it as an inconvenience.

That was a lie too.
the way he people pleased everyone was so obvious.
Totally. I think that's why they can fool people so easily. I noticed that the blond girl said 'I love you!" when he said he'd get a girl fries and ice cream if she was sad. She seemed very empathetic, and they are prime targets for psychopaths/narcissists.

Ah so Edward is the Psychopath
When you look back they were all showing signs of nervousness or guarded behaviour which is normal given they are on camera. Eli was fidgety, moving around, some putting their puts in front of themselves, some crossing their arms in nervous way. The only one that displayed zero nervousness was Jay. Sat their calmly in one spot, all his behaviours so smooth.
That’s what I think too! Normal people are awkward
Actually this one could be just experience.
I have years of experience training people so I feel 0 nervousness in front of people I do not know, since it is just a usual Monday for me.

I immediately ruled Eli out because his body language showed he was clearly so uncomfortable.
As someone who unknowingly dated a psychopath in the past, i immediately knew it was Jay. It's wild how they are able to turn on the charisma and work a room.
Very scary sometimes.

They're unassuming, excellent liars, and have studied human behavior so very well, that the closest indicator I've found is... unfortunately.. the ones you'd least expect (for the average person). For me, it's something about the eyes, and how had they work at seeming like everyone else. That part never really stops like it does for normal people when we get behind closed doors.
My narcissistic ex friend is like this
so how good was your relative psychopath at parenting? have he raised a criminal or it all fine but a bit creepy ?
Take care of you, you’re strong ❤
Take care, your strong❤
I knew it was J... He said the words "your the one crying"😅
That poor blonde girl's DEFINITELY never gonna trust anyone again now 😂 she was stunned!
Tommi is the absolute cutest! She gives off such positive and loving energy. I can tell she's an amazing person to be around. I hope her recovery is successful
she was falling for the psycho men 🤦🏽♀️ always the kindest people that get caught why 😢😢😢 wishing the best for her🎉
wdym falling@@baddestxoxo2love767
Infantilizing people that have diagnosed mental illnesses is 💀
Clearly an undiagnosed psychopath 👌
@@shotono3286 Where? Calling someone “the cutest” isn’t infantilizing them smh. You’re looking for reasons to be offended and throwing words around at this point lmao
After years of bartending, I picked up a sixth sense where I could just read people! I knew it was him the first time I saw him. Just an air of arrogance, aloofness, etc that an older gentleman with a disability would not normally project. Just something off…
I knew it was 100% him when he said he volunteered at a dog shelter 😂
I bawled in Click what do y’all mean?! You’re telling me, seeing Sandler lose his wife and kids because he wasn’t living in the moment didn’t get to you?! Seeing his kids grow literally in a blink of an eye.. him falling in the rain after chasing them calling for Ben and Samantha didn’t bring ANY tears to your eyes?!
Right that was the saddest movie that was given I knew it wasn’t him after that haha
BRO I WATCHED IT ON MY BIRTHDAY, BECAUSE IT WAS ADAM SANDLER I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE FUN.
I knew he wasn't a psychopath because that answer, that movie had me bummed for a couple of weeks 😭
I'm glad this comment was here, Easily the saddest movie out of the bunch.
Spoilers
I had my suspicions on Jay for the exact reason that people didn’t. He was very charming and likable, which is something that psychopaths become very good at in order to fit in with normal people. Everyone liked him which just goes to show how good psychopaths are at blending in.
Yep
Yes, but he was also flat and monotone , which is a dead give away.
Yes he could talk himself so well out of things...
Especially when someone said he d least expect him
Same dude same. It was the very reason I was suspecting him.
am i the only one who doesnt think hes charming. i couldnt spot the psychopath, but at least im not the type that easily manipulated xD
So I actually picked him. My strategy was to pick the person I least suspected because I remember being told that psychopaths are MASTER manipulators. They are the best liars you will ever meet. They have perfected how to act "normal" when it suits them.
Jay is my quess.
Unhealthy.
Interrupts.
Puts focus on another.
12:52 voting ur self out is crazy (definitely a psychopath) 😂😂😂
I should’ve trusted intuition over trying to think this one out. He had such quick, smooth responses to things and overall just seemed like he had NO nerve - I knew it was suspicious but I tried to logic this one out and wound up more confused than anything
Eli was so nervous because he was standing next to the psychopath.
When he said, “We got you, you crazy lady”, I said to myself who would say that but the suspect? 😂
It's pretty wild how your gut tells you who it is but then the lies make you forget that feeling until it's too late.
100 🎉🎉
Haha I knew it was Jay from the start cuz he’s extremely confident way he carries himself and very likable
also knew it from the beginning. I noticed that he had trouble walking and was pretty old, the oldest out of them. With those two facts in mind my reasoning was that he wasn't there just for fun like everyone else and that he had a purpose there. Also not many diagnosed psychopaths are willing to participate in the show like this one, which narrows the amount of people with aspd who would have been there even more and that's why they got someone like J as their psychopath. Him being there was already sus lol
@@qwrhx also most people have average iq😞
“Schindler’s List”
“That’s a weird answer!”
Bro what!? lol
I tear up almost every time I watch that movie. Not weird at all. You sure you’re not the psychopath?? 😆
I was looking for signs of nervousness and anxiety and got it right. In public stress situations like this it is easier to spot the one who stays cool.
This all the way. I had no doubt it was J from the start to finish
Or if you look in the beginning he had his mouth closed while everyone said “I’m not a psychopath”
Good point. Never thought about it that way
It's not the psychopath you have to fear it's the psychopath who is also a sadist
Like the presenter who asked the psychologist if she knew that one of the traits of a psychopath is not looking at the toilet paper after wiping
No you should fear both the psychopath and the sadist
@@ProgressIsTheOnlyEvolution not all psychopaths are dangerous. Just because they don't feel emotions the same way as others does it mean they have a compulsion to do what they know is morally and socially unacceptable. Psychopaths still know what's wrong and right. My point is if someone's a sadist and a psychopath that's a four worst combination and I'm sure every serial killer that's ever existed were those two things. Not every psychopath is a serial killer however
@@ProgressIsTheOnlyEvolution however to your point, many people in powerful positions politically and at the heads of companies are psychopaths. This is a known fact and it does affect their morality and ethics as far as business is concerned. This is why we have so many people at the top doing backdoor deals and taking care of themselves and letting people under them struggle. That's a totally different discussion but one that is pertaining to the topic
@@Chris-of6xm Exactly. I completely agree with you. I would actually argue that most rich peoples ahead of big corporations and companies are psychopaths. And a lot of political leaders are too.
I think it is a very relevant discussion, considering the influence psychopaths has on todays world, which also tend to produce narcissists like we see in this video.
The reveal had no business being so freakin thrilling. I jumped
Yeah that was some horror movie shit. Scary how someone can be so cold but mask it so well... freaky.
Even the professional therapist didn't know. Psychos are good.
The best part was the Genuine look of stock and surprise on the licenced psychologists face when the Antisocial individual was identified. This is important.
Yep they should do one where they test psychologists to see if they can find them
Yeah, it shows that psychiatry/psychology is pseudoscience, and based solely on the subjective opinions of very biased and brainwashed human “experts”.
I knew it! Jay convinced everyone to vote against Airracks girlfriend; and interrupted Eli! Both decisions seemed tactical, and they worked! Thank you for these videos. They’re awesome! Keep it up🙌🏻
The funny part is that he didn't even vote for her and he then said: "We got you, you crazy lady".
@@baskeplaye009 really great sense of humor and improvisational skills.
Holy crap I literally cried during Adam Sandler's Click too I tripped out hearing Eli LMAO
I knew it has Jay when I first saw him and only got further suspicious… he was the only one that held composure throughout the entire thing and his eyes looked dead no matter how sincere he seemed
I‘m so worried about myself, because i didn’t see the thing with the dead eyes. I rather found them warm, before the mask fell.
When J is revealed that he is psycopath my mind is blown up
Bro the top comment is a spoiler 😢

Bro I guessed it was him at the start
@@JPlayzCEO yea anyone could with a smartbrain he looks psycho just look at his outfit
Who says you cant judge a book by its cover, his appearance and smugness in general immediately triggered my spider senses
Ngl, when she said, "what kind of ice cream?" and he said, "you're the one crying," I was all, "ooh, too nice, he's the one."
I had a close relative who was a psychopath and it was Charm City every day.
@@saeranchoi3343 yes, but the intended impression is, "you get anything you want!" It's facile. It's a little bit, "come look in my van, little girl! I have kittens AND candy!"
Too open too soon. No boundaries
@@mymai5859 but Tommy was so happy with his answer
To me, what Jay gave away was how confidnet he was while saying things and telling stories, too chill and almost theatrical. Most psychopaths are really good liars so I just paid attention to how he was telling stories and answering. I also got suspicious when the girl on the farthest right asked if anyones ever been in therapy or is currently, Jay just looked around and didn't even answer. It's incredibly interesting that hes an older guy as well so all that experience and age made him overall more conifident and straightforward. Also the public speaking at the beginning kinda already gave him away.
I guessed it was him even before they began talking. I noticed that he had trouble walking and was pretty old, the oldest out of them. With those two facts in mind my reasoning was that he wasn't there just for fun like everyone else and that he had a purpose there. Also not many diagnosed psychopaths are willing to participate in the show like this one, which narrows the amount of people with aspd who would have been there even more and that's why they got someone like J as their psychopath

Jay was an incredible actor, and he has to be in order to make it in this life. He knows social cues better than most people, and watching the video again, you can see only a few signs at most that he is psychopathic.
Psychopaths are often the people you suspect the least. They don't feel empathy or awkwardness so they thrive in social situations
I called it. Also the way that J completely dropped the mask the second he had won was quite something.
I knew it was him when he first walked into the room. Reminded me of my unhealthy husband who was also diagnosed psychopath.
If you cant love anyone, youre not loving yourself and it shows.
Are you trying to say that fat people are psychopaths…???
