    Go Grandma! This is awesome! I am 2 1/2 years post Breast Cancer treatments and just got a rebounder for Lymph system. I don't have issues with it, but don't want to either. I have pain & energy issues as well. I have always Hated Exercise, but have tried many things and had to stop because of pain or injuries. I tried this today and so glad I found it! Trying to exercise has been frustrating and disappointing due to all my issues, but this gives me so much hope that I can actually, maybe do this a little each day to keep things moving. I can't tell you thank you enough!!! I have all but given up. So appreciate it, and It actually felt good. (Hoping I'm still feeling ok tomorrow.)

    I'm 25 but very out of shape (super-inflexible, weak muscles and all sorts of tension problems) due to childhood trauma and hating to experience my body in all those years. These videos are perfect for me - the intensity of the exercise doesn't scare me and I feel good and physically engaged afterwards :)

      I suggest a bungee rebounder. Spring rebounders tend to be firm and little harder on the joints. My grandma is on the Jumpsport 350Pro.

    I did one of the beginning rebounding for seniors a bit earlier and I realized how very out of shape this 70 year old body is! Great video ! My husband (73) and I (68) have decided to get a trampoline after watching your video with your grandma.
    I would like your advice on the size of trampoline to get because when my husband does jumping jacks his stance measure 34 inches wide and he thinks a 39 inch trampoline would not be wide enough to feel comfortable.
    Can you tell us what size you would recommend ?

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  7 місяців тому

      Hi there! If you're looking at the Jumpsport brand rebounder which is what I use, I'd suggest either the 550Pro or 570Pro. They are both 44 inches. The only difference is the 570 has a padded skirt versus a flat skirt. Both are available on my website www.earthandowl.com Reach out if you have any other questions. Thank you!

    ok I'm convinced at 67 I can start this lol. I need to buy a rebounder and am in the UK. Was about to buy a maximus one which is good but has springs. I can see yours has bungees ..is it a Bellicon? Can you perhaps give some advice please as it appears with the right one there is a lot that can be done, for many more years. Its hopefully going to be used upstairs on a wooden floor. What about sizes too ? You both look really comfortable on those :)

    I have started your 5 min workout and I thank you for it.
    Now a question for you and all.
    I have found that if I rebound with my 18 month old niece that it seems to help her fall asleep. So it made me start to think that rebounding may help babies to detox also. I hold her in my arms(it’s a great work out for me also) and just gently bounce. I hold her because if I let her stand she will jump and not bounce. It also made me wonder if that is what we are really doing when we bounce a baby on our shoulder as we try to put them down. We are activating their billions of cells and helping them rid their bodies of the toxins they have. I have to make sure that she is getting the full effort of a bounce by kind of letting her move up and down in my arms. Have you or anyone else ever thought of rebounder for babies or do you think it’s not doing any good.
    I look forward to hearing other people’s thoughts. Thanks

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  Рік тому +1

      Greetings! That's a great question! Can't say I know the answer but perhaps someone else watching will. It certainly would make sense that they are also reaping the benefits while you jump. At the very least, if it helps lull a baby to sleep, it seems like a win!

    Hi, I’m looking into getting a rebounder. I’d love to get either a jumpsport or a bellicon but they are usually pricey. I did find a Jumpsport Home Fitness 105 trampoline that is 40” frame. I’m wondering if this would be a good one for a total newbie? I know jumpsport has been making rebounders a long time and are supposed to be very durable. The 105 is much more affordable for me and I feel like it’s always something that if I really enjoy it and wanted a larger one I could always get another one. But I don’t want to invest in one that is not good. Especially not knowing how I’d like one. I was looking at a spring one but I’ve seen they aren’t that good and I’d rather get a higher quality one I can trust.

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  2 роки тому +2

      Hi there! I don't recommend anything lower than the 350 if you get a Jumpsport. I'd recommend Leaps & Rebounds if you need a lower price point. It's $200.

    Thank you for the cool video it's very inspirational and makes me think I could do it too! I have a question, I would like to get a rebounder, It is a big wish of mine to help me exercise, as I'm severely out of shape, but my ceiling is kinda low....about 8 feet high 2.40 metres (I am in Europe) Is it possible to do rebounding with such a low ceiling?

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  2 роки тому

      Yes! I'm going to link a video that was filmed in my basement that has about 8 foot ceilings. It gives an overview of rebounding form and you'll learn that it is not a high bounce, but a push down into your trampoline mat so low ceilings are not necessarily a problem. Take a look... ua-cam.com/video/KDa2YLycv0k/v-deo.html

    I notice you start with a health bounce lifting heels but I notice others advise keep feet flat being careful on form of course of no Rolling feet in or out. Which is better bounce on ball of feet or full foot for warmup

    • @EarthOwl
      @EarthOwl  2 роки тому +1

      Hi there! The heel lift health bounce works for the many people who cannot actually lift their feet away from the surface of the trampoline mat. I have multiple videos that focus on moves where your feet stay connected. Equal weight distribution is definitely advised, but the heel lift is absolutely fine for beginners. You are using the momentum of your body weight to bounce yourself. Do certainly be careful not to roll in or out. Hope that clarifies.
