You got this. Some things I do regularly to help my panic disorder: 1. Walking (30 minutes or more a day) walking is sooo good for releasing the physical chemicals that ramp up your anxiety … 2. Journal in the mornings (anything that comes to mind 3. Breathwork just like you talk about here, and 4. Reminding myself my body/brain are reacting to a “threat” that doesn’t exist: I thank my brain/body for keeping me alive & let it know it doesn’t have to be on high alert because I’m NOT in danger. Great video, sorry to hear it’s been rough lately, but you will get through this.
This is very helpful! I really need to get into #1. I've picked up #2 again but fell off with #3 😞. I'm definitely gonna intentionally incorporate #4 especially since I'm finally picking up "Don't Believe Everything You Think" again.
A lot of people don’t realize when they label themselves as a “anxious” person, you are manifesting it into reality. Instead of waking up and saying “I have anxiety” all day long replace that thought with “I feel anxious, it’s a temporary emotion but it’s not my identity.” Feeding into that negative notion will worsen the effects of anxiety. Just a side note that has helped me overcome mine
Hi Bria. I’m sorry to hear that you’re struggling. Sometimes I deal with anxiety too. What helps me is playing Animal Crossing. It’s a very calming game with relaxing music. I actually listen to the AC soundtrack on UA-cam to help me relax, as well. Keep your head up!
I wish more people would talk about what they're going through and stop pretending to be perfect. You will help others going through the same and that's what we are here for. Thank You! Sending Love and Positive Vibes 💕
The first step in me dealing with my anxiety, was learning what my triggers were. Now, instead of calling them triggers, I decided to call them tripwires. Tripwires can be dismantled so when I find some thing that triggers anxiety in me, I analyze it and dismantle it so that it doesn’t happen again. I do what I need to do to protect myself. that has helped tremendously. I think, facing an issue and dealing with it head-on no matter how hard it is will prevent it from jumping out of the woodwork‘s later on down the road. it’s definitely not easy. But I take it one step at a time.
I felt it when you said that we are the Guinea pigs for social media. Beyond social media, I really think the modern world comes with so many unique stressors that NOBODY is equipped to deal with, including climate change, working from home, political instability, cost of living crisis, and the list goes on. This is exactly why I’m so passionate about teaching meditation for free on UA-cam. Mindfulness techniques like breath work and education need to be available to everyone. It’s basically impossible to survive in the current world without them. Thanks for being you. Take good care. I’m off to buy some Olipop ❤❤
Yo, the flip phone is a SMART IDEA! Thank you for being this raw and vulnerable with us. Sometimes I wonder if I’m doing too much when I share my struggles with mental health but it’s so important to have these conversations. I’m bout to look into getting me a flip phone!!!
This is probably THE thing i wanted to listen to right now. I have been struggling with anxiety, and the past 2 to 3 days were bad ones. 2 hours back, i was going to order food online, which probably would have been junk. After lying in bed all day, i finally somehow went for a shower and did yoga and fast forward 2 hours, i am having salad and listening to someone who is saying exactly what i went through. Yes, therapists are good, but they can't do handholding.i hope you keep getting power on the worst days
Bria videos are what I needed to find. I have felt so alone in my anxiety, low motivation & pmdd. I feel like I can relate and don’t have to hide. Thank you.
The most inspirational thing about this video is that you met yourself where you were in that VERY moment. Not what you had planned several days prior, not what you necessarily wanted to do, but you still GOT IT DONE and created the content. You didn’t just wallow. Very resourceful and clever. It’s the way us individuals with anxiety and panic literally have to be in order to be an adult and survive. That’s probably my biggest take away from this video… Thank you!
Gosh this is gonna be hard to watch. Tears in my eyes because... Same!. I've struggled with anxiety forever but it's somehow worse lately. It's kicking my behind harder than I can describe.
breathwork and belief work has helped me. Minimizing social media as well bc it’s the main cause of all the mental illness people have lately. Dylan James is. great youtuber to get started.
Thank you for being so vulnerable! You’re definitely helping us who are struggling with these challenges. I pray that this anxiety gets out of your way. You are amazing 🫶🏽
I'm IN LOVE with your funny personality girl, even through the struggles you still manage to make it funny. I love this love, this is so key, keep embracing you, you're doing so well my love 🤍
Some things that help me with my anxiety are listening to music, reading, journaling, I love a good to-do list also, and showering!! Hope this helps others that are struggling too! This video helped me so much ❤
I’m literally going through this too 😔 and what’s worse is I just broke up with my bf of 6 years last Sunday and this entire week my anxiety has been through the roof! I’m looking into finding a therapist now so I can speak with someone about the traumas of my past and the hardships I’ve gone through in my relationship and ultimately just trying to beat my anxiety. I’m so glad to know that I’m not alone in this and your videos always help so much and provide a message on getting through the things I’m going through. Thank you for being so open and I pray you get through this time as well! ♥️🙏🏾
Aww I can really relate to your comment. I also broke up with my bf two weeks ago and I’ve been having anxiety attacks since then. Something that has helped me is being outside and looking at the sky, I’ve been listening to a podcast called therapy and theology because I can’t afford therapy and it has helped me process, and sometimes I just lay down in bed, cry and listen to calming music. You are not alone, I hope you feel better 💗
your honesty about your anxiety is what really makes you stand out, you're not trying to be perfect or set an example. you're just being you and being someone who's relatable, you're doing wonderful bri, and I really hope you'll heal through this, thanks for making this video to show the rest of us that we're not alone 🤍
It feels so great knowing that I’m not alone when it comes to anxiety/panic attacks. Breathwork has definitely helped a bunch. I personally use the app called open. I do it at least 2-3 times a day. Journaling helps get my thoughts out in a healthy way. Nature always helps me. I love living in Florida, it’s sunny 24/7. This was such a great guide on how to help with anxiety. Bria you got this. Proud to be a supporter of this channel
I appreciate the honesty in this video, I personally struggle with anxiety too and the getting out of the spiral is the hardest part. Sending you positive vibes ❤
Omg Bria you got this! I’m glad that your showing your raw emotions and instead of succumbing to them and letting them take control of you and your life, you’re fighting back! I’m proud of you. We’re proud of you. You’re more than your emotions and I know for a fact that it will get better for you. I’m supporting you all the way and sending you much love and big hugs🫶🏾✨
Yes been going through this on and off for the last two weeks and so much going on at home/in my head. Thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing how you are feeling with us. Sending love!!
honey its always worse before it's better & you're experiencing it in order to help others grow through it when they need you & you can learn about yourself more Queen, so much respect to you... just seeing your face made me wanna write this to you before i've even watched it! i see the look in your eyes Queen, i love you... you HAVE GOT THIS & you are the bravest xxxxx
Love you mentioning the part about communicating to the person/people around. It's amazing how most people can absolutely relate to the challenging feelings we're feeling.
Just know that there are people who care about you and are here to support you. If you ever need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to reach out for help. You're not alone!
Praying, Bible reading, going out for walks, treating myself, taking well needed rest and so forth helps me. Hope you feel better soon. Sending hugs 🤗💓
Hi Bria, thank you for talking about this. I wanted to share two other things that have helped me manage my anxiety: 1. The book The Power of Now by Ekhart Tolle; 2. Magnesium supplements (specifically from a brand called Calm). The first is more of a long term strategy that has helped me immensely to stop anxiety thoughts. The second I use in more “emergency situations” when I’m trying to calm my nervous system. I’m still struggling to cut out caffeine (I’m super addicted to coffee!) but your video is a great reminder to look for alternatives. Thank you for creating a space to talk about this!
“Influx of people who have access to you” I can relate so hard!! It’s so difficult to talk about this to someone without sounding like you’re complaining, it’s a blessing and a curse, because of these people I am where I am today and I’m highly grateful for that but on the other hand I need my space sometimes🙏🏽 I need to use my burner phone more often‼️
Thank you Bria for this video! I have severe anxiety/panic attacks and recently it’s been bad. I’ve been seeing a therapist but I know I can only help myself. What I do is walk, have some exercise in, get some sun, breathing exercises, tries to eat healthy, spend time with my dogs & friends, and be kind to myself! I’m very hard on myself and my worse critic. I take lemme chill gummies by Kourtney Kardashian. They are de-stress gummies. Anxiety is such a scary feeling and I’m glad I’m not alone. Even though it feels so lonely. I feel like I’m going crazy, or I’m going to faint, or die. It’s ridiculous. We just have to take it day by day, be thankful, and not be so hard on ourselves. I’m also a water sign! So I know we feel all the feels deeply. We got this girl! 🥹💜💗
Seeing you push through this day of your anxiety is so inspirational to me! What helps me after a panic attack is drinking hot tea, using an iceroller on my eyes and reading a book.
Bria, you are human and I appreciate you keeping it real! I am 51 and developed high level anxiety last year. When I had my PFT test done a month ago, the therapist taught me some breathing techniques for anxiety and I am so grateful it has helped me. However, I appreciate what you are showing as well.
Hey Bria, thanks for doing this. I'm so with you. I walked away from 200,000 followers on Twitter/FB and just did a vid about how it saved my mental health. I mean, now I'm here, so LOL, but social really is messing so many of us up.
i love seeing people dealing with their raw emotions and tell us how they really fell, bria it is so inspiring to see you in this state and it is so brave of you to do so. i love you girly, keep on truckin !
🧡Thank you for being so honest, I think it is important to talk about this. I go through similar things with anxiety. Your videos are a bright light and an inspiration, and even if this video wasn't the one you intended on making, I appreciate it very much. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing this🧡
It’s like watching a mirror. Thank you so much for sharing this, you can’t imagine how comforting it is to just be seen and acknowledged that this is something ppl go through and it’s an everyday battle. It’s really a war and not everyday is a winning war but I think today you showed that it’s possible to fight back and still live your life. Anxiety doesn’t have to run you. I love you Bria ❤️
Hey my girl Bria, I feel so sorry for you passing through all this. Hoping you will get back to your energy back. Thank you for sharing all these tips. ❤❤
Hi Bria! i’m sorry that you’re suffering more than other experiences these days. that does not seem fair for how much love you bring with you here. i hope that you get some more peace really soon. i appreciate you sharing your perspective here. your authenticity and transparency is so welcomed and i hope you feel more & more supported in that each day especially when you are vulnerable. you deserve that. please take care! ❤❤❤
I was overwhelmed before watching and I felt better when I was done Thanks Bria always for the tips They’re super helpful & I always resonate well with them😊
Thank you for sharing your truth- I hope your therapist is discussing medication with you. I understand how you feel and what you’re dealing with. I know people who also deal with anxiety and in every case, medication is (combined with therapy and lifestyle changes) really helping! Sending healing vibes to you ❤🙏🏼
While I am so sad to see bestie B struggling, in a weird way, it's nice to know that someone I take so much advice from is a human with human struggles. Thank you bestie for being brave, and sharing such a vulnerable moment
Omg, you can see in your eyes how much you really are struggling in those brief moments that you were waiting for the breath work to start. Don't feel pressured to make videos in times like these. It is probably so exhausting. Take care of you, Bria!!
Hey girl ur doing just fine. Its ok to feel like shit because were human and we go through seasons. and u have already proven to yourself and your audience that ur really that girl who inspires thousands.
I know this was hard for you but your vulnerability and openness is so helpful. Your bravery gives me hope that things such as this can be managed and you can still look good doing it too. As someone who thought anxiety would run my life for the rest of my life, its nice to know that even in the tough moments (or in public) there are ways to manage and tools that can be used. Adding this video to my toolbox for the future. Thank you Bria!
I hope you realize what a huge impact you are making in the world Bria, just by having the courage to be yourself. Thank you for being so open with us ❤
You’re not alone love 🤍 I’ve struggled with anxiety my whole life. Sometimes it gets so bad I struggle to speak to my own family. I started going to the gym 1 year ago and it has helped me maintain my mental health regulated. I still struggle but as you mentioned in this video those are all great techniques to stay calm. You are not alone beautiful!
Sending nothing but positive energy your way, your strong & powerful to the world remember your worth & how many pple u inspire daily your a god 🧘🏽♂️🧘♀️
My GOD I have 2 family members who suffer from anxiety. 1 loved one simply suffers in silence and the other family is literally a ticking time-bomb! Watching you in the beginning of this video I knew something wasn’t right and I thought you were leading up to a super meltdown but you held yourself together and I was glad. I really didn’t understand what a person is feeling when experiencing a anxiety attach but now thanks to you I have a little more insight. I just know that with both family members I never wanted to appear insensitive so I usually said nothing and I’d give them their space. So many younger people are suffering from mental health issues and for the most part “we” who don’t know what to say or do ~ say nothing or do nothing. I want to help but I just don’t know how…
This has been me lately! I’ve been crying for a week straight & holding off on putting out a video (it’s been a month) but because of this video and seeing one of my favorite UA-camrs share that their going through the same thing as me, I’m no longer holding off on another video. Anxiety has no power over my life & goals, I have a UA-cam channel to grow!! thanks bri 🥺🤍
I can’t tell you how many times you have picked me up . I’ve been struggling lately and every time I watch your video it makes me feel less alone and give me hope that I can move on with my day ❤ thank you Bria ❤
I feel you, my anxiety affects me all the time. I really like the idea of doing breathing exercises. I started listening to sleep meditation videos because I have trouble falling asleep. That may be helpful for you. This is a bit cheesy but I also do self affirmations. I reassure myself that I am going to be okay and that I am capable. Thank you for your honesty. I struggle to open up when I feel anxious and I think you are right. It helps to tell someone and talk about it.
Love you so much! Thank you for still showing up and sharing, it's very brave! Very Bria lol. I hope you feel better soon and continue to learn and grow; we're here for you!!!! 💕
I had a similar problem with anxiety a few years ago and it was being caused by undiagnosed Hashimotos. My vitamin D was extremely low and causing major issues. Something to look into! Feel better ❤
hey B! i love your content and relate with anxiety. oddly enough what helps is going to the gym, I also take Ashwagandha supplements and lastly, be gentle with myself! sometimes we have to take a break or just relax and surround yourself with doing only the things you feel like doing. it will get better…mine hasn’t gone away but i’ve learned to be patient with myself. go see a movie later, i do that sometimes too or treat yourself to your favorite meal. try not to stress too much because what’s meant for you can’t be taken away or disrupted, even if you take a break! i have to remind myself of this. love ya 🫶🏽💕
You have pmdd it never goes away and we forget because the emotions are real and we attribute it to other things, I have had pmdd my entire life I’m in my 40s it robbed me of my youth in so many ways. Pmdd is a neurological disorder it makes me sad to see you like this because I had so many panic attacks and suicidal ideation and would forget why. Bc does help with pmdd so many people are against bc but it saves peoples life’s it’s not just pms. Imagine telling someone who is bipolar they don’t need their medications to heal "naturally" I say this to you because do not feel guilty for bc if it makes you feel better. I hope you feel better ❤❤
I am sorry to hear you’re feeling this way. I know how terrible and consuming it can feel. Thank you for being transparent with us and for sharing ways that we can implement some peaceful and mindful habits into our lives. We love you B 🤍
Feel all of your feelings that's the only way you can release it sometimes slowing down and connecting with your body and tending to it's needs is theost productive things we can do, meditation, breathwork, and movement is so good for releasing anxiety ❤❤
I love you beloved.. this is your superpower to be so vulnerable.. don't give up!! ❤🎉 Even if snot is flowing over your chin, let's see it!! Love u and I pray you love u too ✨💞
Hey Bria I love watching your videos and they lift me up always . Thank you for posting this video for us to feel like we are not alone. I hope it gets easier for you 💕
I have never experienced panic attacks, but i do agree with you breath work is great !! Also, i sometimes get a lot of anxiety while listening to music sometimes, something that has helped me is listening to Shamanic music, Trust me it is healing, it is kinda the ancient music with a lot of healing properties. idk maybe it could help. You got this Bria !! 💜💜
Feel all of your feelings that's the only way you can release it sometimes slowing down and connecting with your body and tending to it's needs is the most productive things we can do, meditation, breathwork, and movement is so good for releasing anxiety ❤❤
Literally my number one thing is to get outside. Something about fresh air and sunshine just calms down my anxiety. Stared putting my phone in a different room before dinner and not picking it up til after breakfast until the next day. Social media can be exhausting…
Bria, my friends in Cali LIVE by “breathwork”. Was something that was very new for me! Way to fight back and stay strong. Great video and thank you for your transparency.
Bria, B, Bestie... I'm so sooo glad that you shared this!!! It was truly a genuine post (yours always are but you know what i mean lol). I love that you were confident enough to share the real side of anxiety. It literally just happens. Out of nowhere, for no reason and you feel like shit before, during and after smh. I'm so glad you have AJ. I don't know where I would be without my man. But girl, I don't know what kind of phase we're trapped in but it's real ghetto!!! I thought I was the only one randomly having a series of "bad days". No amount of self care has been actively helping and it sucks but we just have to keep pushing through it. We got this bestie! -Lex 🖤✨
Sorry t hear that your are havimg bit of a rough patch ❤❤❤ pray that it does not last long and that you can find clarity witin the situation yoga helps me. eating a fruit yogurt bowl helps w tiredness. Meditation and breath works helps
When I was a travel nurse I was so stressed and anxious using the iPhone and laptop provided for work. I’m glad I left that job. Thanks for reminding me of this Bria ❤
"So today, we're fighting back" 🎉✨💢🤛🏾 // I feel you! I'm an aspiring influencer and have let anxiety stop me from doing SO MUCH! Grateful you're choosing to simply SHOW UP!
You’re such a light and hoping you feel better sooner than later! Also I did an in person. Breath work class and balled my eyes out. I co-sign it’s pretty magical.
I love your channel…I just found it. Thanks for great content including this very helpful video. P.S. I have panic and I’m managing it better thank God. I noticed that crying helped me reset a lot. I’m glad you gave yourself the grace to cry on this video. You’re a badass, girl! ❤
Thank you for sharing this. I am catching up here, but if you haven't tried medication, it really is a game changer. It allowed me to see life beyond anxiety and depression and get to the other side of it. It's an annoying process of trial and error, but well worth it my opinion. Hang in there and thank you for sharing your experience!
I know medication isn’t for everyone…I certainly put it off for a whole decade. From age 16 when I was diagnosed with GAD to 26… last year I finally reached the point where I was done struggling and fighting. I tried mediation, affirmations AND therapy…. It didn’t help much. And as a black woman I was socialized to believe struggle was just part of gaining peace. For a decade, I was white knuckling through shit and was really skeptical of stuff that alters my brain chemistry, ESPECIALLY as an artist and entrepreneur… but I’m so glad I finally said yes to taking SSRI’s (specifically Lexapro) because it changed my life. I could finally not overthink everything and turn small things into much larger things….I could actually make decisions comfortably and know what was intuition and what was anxiety. I know I’m a stranger but I just wanted to share that you don’t need to be strong and fight to regain your life back when anxiety’s got your edges. Or when PMDD is really trying you. I’m proud of you for doing everything you can but this is my unsolicited advice to talk to your doctor about it if it gets to be tiring.

@@nadiasharnelle yessss!! The brain lies to us a lot and it has good intentions trying to keep us alive, but it doesn’t always tell us the truth.
I love this. Breathe in and out helps a lot when you feel anxious. Pause.
FIGHTING BACK! BEING REAL! ANXIETY CAN'T STOP US! TODAY IS NOT CANCELED! THANK YOU BRIA! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍💫

Omg, I am SO inspired right now, thank you Bria 💗 You've got this x
Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing this🧡
Keep your head up. But most importantly heal up. Dont worry about videos & content. Health first. We need you healthy in all areas.
I really hope u get better. God Bless YOUU ! Stay safe n Loveee the little things that you enjoy in life. Stay safe
& yesss! Breathwork + Somatic Experiencing have changed my life! Keep going! ❤
This video is great. Breathing and eating clean are very important. Thanks for the transparency. Sending you peace and hugs.
❤❤❤
I was overwhelmed before watching and I felt better when I was done
Thanks Bria always for the tips
They’re super helpful & I always resonate well with them😊
I’m in Dallas also and it was a rough transition. Breathwork changed my world.
Bless you shawty ... Your words resonated ... all enlightened people have these moments ... fucc'n 'anxiety' ... 🤷🏽 ... You got this ✊🏾
Thank you for sharing your truth- I hope your therapist is discussing medication with you.
My GOD
I have 2 family members who suffer from anxiety. I want to help but I just don’t know how…
Appreciate your commitment and your vulnerability! Ur amazing girl! ❤
I so agree with the boundaries with social media. I turned off notifications on platforms.
I love how transparent you are with us!! The main reason we all love you, stay strong my girl!💕💕
So nice to see how you were able to turn your day around. Thanks for sharing your tips, I love the to do list thing
I can’t tell you how many times you have picked me up . I’ve been struggling lately and every time I watch your video it makes me feel less alone and give me hope that I can move on with my day ❤ thank you Bria ❤
Thank you for talking about this and normalizing it. ❤ Sending hugs and good vibes.
Super proud of you Bria, YOU are extremely strong & we are here for YOU.💯❤️
I feel you, my anxiety affects me all the time.
You got this Bria! 🙏💕 thanks for talking about it specially topics like this so important to create awareness in mental health . Keep it up gurl 💕💕
Some seasons of life are harder than others. Thank you for sharing both the good and bad with us
Love you so much!
To be able to post a video while struggling with anxiety is one of the most motivating and inspiring things you could have done.
Bria, we love you so much. Thanks for being so relatable - you are not alone, we are in your corner!!!
Keep fighting! it gets better, those rainy days dont last forever💕
You’re a real one for sharing this 🥺 thank you
hey B! i love your content and relate with anxiety. oddly enough what helps is going to the gym, I also take Ashwagandha supplements and lastly, be gentle with myself! sometimes we have to take a break or just relax and surround yourself with doing only the things you feel like doing. it will get better…mine hasn’t gone away but i’ve learned to be patient with myself. go see a movie later, i do that sometimes too or treat yourself to your favorite meal. try not to stress too much because what’s meant for you can’t be taken away or disrupted, even if you take a break! i have to remind myself of this.
I hope you feel better ❤❤
i LOVE the fact that you have a flip phone. honestly i want my Razr or Blackberry back lol keep giving yourself grace & pushing through 💛
I am sorry to hear you’re feeling this way.

Thank you for your transparency I'm currently dealing with anxiety thanks for your upload ✨🙏🏼
Awww honey, thank you for showing up, being honest and for your audience and yourself ❤.
-Lex 🖤✨
Celebrate the small things. You got up this morning and look very put together. Thanks for sharing with us.

I love how Bubbi 🐶knows you are having a difficult time & snuggles next to you. ❤❤
Hang in there, you got this!!
Dealing with a lot of anxiety rn too, rooting for us both!
A good thought is - “you’ve been through this before” it really calms down
Surround yourself with more people who will lift you up and validate your struggles.
