I loved how Arthas was the first boss to actually acknowledge the players are powerful. All the other bosses in every game ramble on about "You are all insects!" and so forth. But when your guild managed to kill Arthas, he says "This group before me is the greatest fighting force the world has ever known". Hearing him say that to your guild, let the players pause for a second and reflect on the months of hardwork and dedication that their guild had gone through to get to this point. It really made you feel proud of the skills and teamwork that you and your friends have.
Honestly? If arthas's plan worked and you were all turned to his side. You probably would have been a huge help and might have turned the tide back on the alliance/horde simply because you are player characters

You could argue that the Lich King wanted to take the strongest fighting force and make them his own elite force because Ner'zul knew he has to deal with the Legion one day.
That doesn't matter. THe very reason Azeroth was invaded by the Legion in the first place was the Well of Eternity. The Kaldorei after the War of Ancients understood that as long as the well exist, the demons will keep trying to invade Azeroth. Kael Tempest Keep, Magister's Terrace. Anub'Arak Azjol-Nerub TotC, Lich King Halls of Reflection/ICC, those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
It is easy to forget anub. The character was great but people were upset that a popular villian like anub was an instance boss. So they put him in trial of the crusader, a raid very few people liked. He just kind of shows up. His fight really isn't notable. It is a shame for such a cool villian.
kael'thas being the final boss of 2 instances in 1 expansion - isn't the Lich king technically the final boss of BOTH the halls of reflection and icecrown citadel? Anub'arak is also the final boss of both azjol-nerub and trial of the crusader.
Darin De Paul really did an AMAZING job with Blackhand.. Just awesome. He's super talented. Voicing amazing characters like Reinhardt, N'Zoth, Gallywix. And that skellyman from Apex. Oh and not to forget Ardyn Izunia from the FF15 game and movie.

Hey Hiru! This is a question for your Q&A video :). What is the most memorable experience you've had in WoW? Mine would be when I first heard the Lich King talk, as I did not play the previous Warcraft games and didn't even know what the Lich King looked like. Also, why do we have spirits in WoW that can resurrect us, but the other heroes do not? Is there a lore reason for this or just video game stuff? Also, thank you for making me a moderator in your streams! I'm glad you recognize people who show up often! I didn't beg like Nomini did ;)
Kevin5264 we got those spirits as a game mechanic in fact resurrection on the lore is so hard that only some powerfull characters can do it, only very very powerful characters
Gul'dan, the Mythic Phase with Illidan and the entirety of the Nighthold Raid was the best Raiding Experience ever for me and also my very first Cutting edge.
The list of things garrosh did wrong is actually larger than the list of things he did right. His biggest mistake was to say "only orcs are the Horde, so screw all the tauren trolls goblins belfs and forsaken."

36:20 One more boss does this nowadays - killing you as a part of mechanic that leads to your victory: Argus. And well, if someone is supposed to be more powerful then Lich King, it would probably be a Titan... Titan who is behind the infinite power of the Legion nonetheless. Though Argus killing you isn't actually supposed to show you that he was only messing with you up until that point. He did struggle apparently.

Although I can't say I agree with all your top 10 lists but you really made great videos to deliver the idea. Thanks for all the contents!
Agree with this list. The Lich King is like the Darth Vader of WoW
the wrath of the lich king cinematic trailer still gives me chills down my spine whenever I watch it
fuckin love it
kael is not the only boss that has been in 2 instances on the same exp, anub arak was the final boss in toc and in azhol nerub
Kael Tempest Keep, Magister's Terrace. Anub'Arak Azjol-Nerub TotC, Lich King Halls of Reflection/ICC, those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
it's so much easier to brush up old content in comparison to creating new stuff and there's so many things everybody has missed out on
kaelthas is not the only endboss in the same xpac in 2 instances ...
-Anub arak in Azjol Nerub
-Anub arak in Trial of the crusader
:)
And the Lich King in Halls of Reflection and ICC
@@vorvanjguy3470 LK isnt an endboss in HoR
Isnt he talking about RAID bosses though? Are these 2 places raids? I forgot it's been a while lol
@@etiendre No, Kel is the endboss of a dungeon the second time.
It is easy to forget anub. The character was great but people were upset that a popular villian like anub was an instance boss. So they put him in trial of the crusader, a raid very few people liked. He just kind of shows up. His fight really isn't notable. It is a shame for such a cool villian.
Listening to this as I drive and ironically it’s 15 years today since Onyxia was killed. Happy Anniversary you awesome dragon!
kael'thas being the final boss of 2 instances in 1 expansion - isn't the Lich king technically the final boss of BOTH the halls of reflection and icecrown citadel? Anub'arak is also the final boss of both azjol-nerub and trial of the crusader.
Technically in Halls of Reflection you run away from Arthas not actually fighting him but yeah that works
the "run" is the final boss on HoR, Arthas is just there to scare the shit out of you on the first time =)
Darin De Paul really did an AMAZING job with Blackhand.. Just awesome.
He's super talented. Voicing amazing characters like Reinhardt, N'Zoth, Gallywix. And that skellyman from Apex.
Oh and not to forget Ardyn Izunia from the FF15 game and movie.
12:44
NANI?????
xD
Really good phasing with combining the later boss with the new one in a smooth manner :)!
12:43 OMAE WA MO SHINDEIRU
that Garrosh monologue was tight not gonna lie
20:21 Magic: the Gathering's Boros Guildgate Art. What's that doing in this video?
wondered as well, since the boros are not at all similar to garrosh
I think Nefarion of BWD is such a underrated boss. Yes it's another dragon, but one of my favorite fights in Cata, that has a lot of lore related to it. After grinding legendary cloak of mop, I just love this boss
Damn, that Garrosh speech gave me chills. WELL DONE!
fuck man, the garrosh bit gave me chills!
fittjohan it gave me mop flashbacks 0-0
Boros guildgate?
Illidan's thing is entirely the worst actions with the best of intentions...
20:22 Wait, I didn't know Garrosh was affiliated with the Boros Legion.
Gul'dan, the Mythic Phase with Illidan and the entirety of the Nighthold Raid was the best Raiding Experience ever for me and also my very first Cutting edge.
Where is Cenarius? Oh wait.
calls himself a demigod and didnt even get to take part in any major plotline and got killed by a red angry boii pepehands.
That Garrosh monologue; brought tears to my eyes.
"All the old goods are super cool" .
Oh my sweet summer child...
i really loved the Gerash and his whole dialog, soo EPIC.
3:14 I might be misunderstanding this, but isn't that blatantly untrue? In Wotlk anub'arak is the boss of both azjol nerub and toc
There's also Helya. And Arthas and a minor Frost Wyrm appears in two differenct wings of Icecrown Citadel.
Very nice. Also a great music selection! Thanks!
Garrosh did nothing wrong....MAKE HORDE GREAT AGAIN!!
Aleš Mičík I actually wanna see Donald Hellscream 😂
The list of things garrosh did wrong is actually larger than the list of things he did right. His biggest mistake was to say "only orcs are the Horde, so screw all the tauren trolls goblins belfs and forsaken."
The weird thing is - the Garrosh speech speaks truth. We westerners are simply hardcore indoctrinated to think "diversity is strength!" "if you want the best for your own people, you are racist and racism is worse than pedophilia!!". I guess most non-indoctrinated people can understand Garrosh, and only the hardcore Hollywood-Kalergi cucks hate him.
@@CommanderLex Don't forget the Pandaren. They came at the very end, but they too were part of the propaganda.
Nice list, and great video. I would add Algalon as an honorable mention...that fight was superb in every aspect, especially in 25-player mode.
Could you please help me out and list all the music you use in your videos they are all amazing :)
We need a (REVAMPED) version of this
Could I get a list of the music used in this? thanks
13:30 "All the old Gods are super cool". Coming from BfA I can say: "Ooooh sweet summer child..."
man that Garrosh song was GREAT. any idea what it was? it actually made me feel pretty bad for what happened to him :(
Not a song, but just taken from another video. Look for 'Garrosh Hellscream Tribute', that's the longer and original version and it really is amazing!
If you mean the background music it's called affinity

i love your countdowns dude so well made
My favorite raid is SoO... don't hurt me
Tbh the raid was really good and I miss mop
SoO > Ulduar > ToT
MoP> WotlK > Cata
This video really makes me wanna buy wow. Ive tried the free version twice at different times, like a year or two in between each try, with an open mind but i cant help getting bored at the combat style in the beginning
The great tragedy of life is that the greatest evils are born of noble intentions simply taken too far.
Kael'thas was such a fun fight at level! :) Not so much now that I'm there every week STILL trying to get the Phoenix mount but ... it brings back good memories :)
Illidan the itachi of wow
Yogg will always rememberd in hs as a great Memer, THE OLDEST MEMER
Wish he wouldnt talk about hearthstone. Yogg wasn't OP, Yogg was a coin flip.
Not sure if you're gonna see this. But your videos are really interesting and well done. I think I'm on like the 10th or 11th video of yours in a row.
How would the Lich King lose to the Thunder King?
Lei-Shen would zap lich King with his Titanic power( stolen from Ra-den)
God I love the call back of Illidan holding the skull of Gul'dan just to crush it this time
RAGNAROS
TOO SOON, YOU HAVE AWAKENED MEMES TOO SOON.
36:20
One more boss does this nowadays - killing you as a part of mechanic that leads to your victory: Argus. And well, if someone is supposed to be more powerful then Lich King, it would probably be a Titan... Titan who is behind the infinite power of the Legion nonetheless.
Though Argus killing you isn't actually supposed to show you that he was only messing with you up until that point. He did struggle apparently.
lich king = best boss
death knight =best class
WotLK = best expansion
-----------------------------------------
I love it.
Rostislav Břoušek cc
Moje slová
You are confusing race for Class. Goblins are a Race that can be a Death Knight (class).
Actually, I still think Yogg-Saron is the best boss, but it's still in the WotLK expansion.
You say it was an April Fools joke, but you spoke nothing but truth about Garrosh.
"The content of WoD was fine"
No, raiding was fine, farming Apexis, wich is literally the only thing you could do, was not...
The fixed Kael'Thas encounter was a fucking masterpiece. Never-before-seen in WoW. It really set a precedent.
No OG NAX?
Oddly enough I've played this game for many years and I've only experienced one boss on this list but nothing can really describe the feeling to actually be progressing on the hardest boss in the game while it's current content.
