You are truly a creative artist going beyond being just being an artist. Creating your own design out of this beautiful paper combine with blending paint to unify the given area is awesome. I am always impressed by what you create and enjoy your inspiring videos!

Here again in October 2023. I have previously viewed this incredible makeover and enjoyed another visit to gain more insights and skills. What I so appreciate about you, Jonathon, is your willingness to be transparent with us and include the difficult processes when they occur. When you remain calm and contiinue on, it motivates me to do the same. Not all artists will do this and only upload the "perfect piece" when completed. Never stop being you, the amazing and talented Jonathan we love. ❤

Jonathon, you have no idea, having watched a year of chalk-paint tutorials on UA-cam, how grateful I am that you are willing to let us see the FULL process. The best teaching moments are the ones where you fix little problems or go back to add or remove paint. Highlights and low-lights, illustrated after the fact so that we see the difference --This was the first time I really got it. You are a Master Teacher.
That you would come back and declare a misstep with the base was Wonderful. Another Master's teaching moment. And thank you for the subtlety with which you dry-brushed and gilded the detail. That and the symmetry of the top -- And I've certainly never seen anyone try free-forming an accent line around the perimeter of a table, which certainly took it to the next level!
Thank you for being so capable and confident and generous enough with your time that we can see every step of the way. This video is precious to me, as are you.

Hello Jonathan, I enjoyed watching you do another decoupage project. Very educational. It is nice to see you take "wrong" steps and then fix them because that is the reality for me. Lots of wrong steps. Ha, ha. Personally, I am not a dark brown/black person, so I was sad to see that gorgeous green of the legs disappear..... I LOVE green. But, it's for you. so, it's for your liking. My tables will have green legs. Ha, ha. Thank you. You are officially my favorite youtube teacher. Thank you.

Hello... from across the pond in Ontario, Canada.I am so thrilled that I found your channel. I couldn't sleep and was tuning in @ 4am this morning. I was so excited to watch you combine napkin decoupage along with painting techniques.. My daughter bought a 2nd hand "entertainment unit" The only thing I find entertaining about it is the horrible paint job and round balls that were stuck on for feet. I've been throwing out ideas at her every time we visit. After watching you do such an amazing finish, I knew exactly what I, or we needed to do and I ordered some gorgeous, baroque napkins on-line. I might let her help pick out the paint. Thanks for the inspiration!

I so need 1 minute of your time:
      *Questions:*
      1. Do you ever use Polyacrylic to Seal you Chalk Paint Projects? Or other Varnish like Sealers?
      2. I want to achieve a Painted Wall texture that has the look and feel of what is call "Linen Stock Paper", paper for letters that are of a higher quality stock than plain copy paper. It look like linen but paper, not to be confused with canvas material.
      - I was thinking: I could mix a thin version of home brew chalk paint, not watered down, but less mix of Plaster of Paris, in a Flat Acrylic or Laytex, and achieve a close outcome. Possibly even a suede finish.
But Chalk Paints call for Wax to Seal, and this just would not work for walls, for me.
I could use a semi-floss with the chalk additive and that might meet the need.
I just don't want to take this on without the advice of an expert on Chalk Paint, a Sample Board might not be a strong resource for my concern.
Please advise if you see this.
Appreciate your time and your Channel. 😘
