How to Extend your decoupage Using two identical Designs To create One seamless Finish.

- In this tutorial you will see me using two identical decoupage papers Both are much smaller than the surface area that I want to create my own unique synthesis! I set about using one of the papers I’ve split it into three sections creating three different floral segments. Using the other piece of decoupage paper in it’s full you will see me break down step-by-step how I like to re-create a larger unique pattern with all of the elements allowing the decoupage paper to become one whole image.
There are many other elements throughout the tutorial showing you how I blend away the edges using chalk paint for a seamless end result. Jonathon, you have no idea, having watched a year of chalk-paint tutorials on UA-cam, how grateful I am that you are willing to let us see the FULL process. The best teaching moments are the ones where you fix little problems or go back to add or remove paint. Highlights and low-lights, illustrated after the fact so that we see the difference --This was the first time I really got it. You are a Master Teacher.
That you would come back and declare a misstep with the base was Wonderful. Another Master's teaching moment. And thank you for the subtlety with which you dry-brushed and gilded the detail. That and the symmetry of the top -- And I've certainly never seen anyone try free-forming an accent line around the perimeter of a table, which certainly took it to the next level!

It’s absolutely gorgeous and I love that you aren’t afraid to admit if you’re not quite happy with something and explain how to fix it. Leaving the “ blank space” for a lamp or a vase is a wonderful idea. All over pattern has stopped me from doing some projects because I didn’t want to cover the entire space. I just love this table. Hello Jonathan, I enjoyed watching you do another decoupage project. Very educational. It is nice to see you take "wrong" steps and then fix them because that is the reality for me. Lots of wrong steps. Ha, ha. Personally, I am not a dark brown/black person, so I was sad to see that gorgeous green of the legs disappear..... I LOVE green.
