If you are new to her channel, Deirdre is the best on UA-cam at just getting right to the craft and then showing the steps really clearly. She also always gives her sources for everything which is incredibly helpful.
Lol this is only my second video of hers and i was literally about to comment.. oh thank heaven someone who fast forwards the video at the right places and slows down at the right place .. lol... and she explains very clearly and kindly... so excited to try decoupage for the first time... ( well besides my planet earth in 4th grade lol)
I’m amazed at how easy she ripped that Saran Wrap without exploding into the hulk and throwing furniture across the room and shaking her fists at the heavens, vowing to conquer the leftovers once and for all. Seriously tho! That Saran Wrap just did what she told it to do. It didn’t fold, or roll or rip, or stick to everything but what she wanted it to stick to. I can fold a fitted sheet to perfection before I can even get the Saran Wrap cut.
Wonderful tutorials! I really needed to see the plastic wrap and the water techniques. You described the process so precisely that I think I will be able to do them myself!
I just want to say thank you. Finally an actual tutorial that truly teaches not like the usual video that is merely an ad pushing you to purchase some product. I am a newbie at this craft. However, after watching this, I'm ready to try it out.
Omg! My family and I are big Kentucky Wildcat fans. Several years ago my daughter bought me a pkg of napkins with the UK logo. I thought what am I going to do with these as I didn’t want to just use them and toss them away. So now I have a way to use them! I will probably try each method. My one brother, especially, will love getting one of these as a gift, thank you so much!
Thank you so much for sharing your videos. I love crafts but have only recently had time. I have been scared to try decoupage but I now feel brave enough to attempt it
You describe every thing so clearly I think I will be able to do this without any trouble, or at least I hope so. I came over from Corie's channel. She was showing how to burn the edges on the decoupage so I thought I would come over and check out this video. I am really impressed.
Very nice. I have never had a problem with folds , and find they come out during the process. I mostly decoupage around baskets . Love to see your decoupaged baskets. Fabric is also fun to use to decoupage ,will you do a tutorial showing different applications using fabric? Many thanks for the video.🌼 Thanks 🌼
I am so excited I found you - I love your style and can’t wait to learn some new things . Currently working on an art deco/ waterfall vanity that needed a clever fix for the missing laminate. So excited to try this 🦋💕🦋
Really good to see all the different methods, I've only tried just the normal way but might give one of the others a go now. Have started watching your channel and I'm really enjoying it, plus I have so many to catch up on.🙂 🇬🇧
I just binge watched a half dozen videos. Thank you. I am a little afraid of sticking some of this stuff in my printer but I think I’m willing to try . Thank you
I actually have a printer that is just in my craft room that I use for that purpose only I’ve never had any issues with anything ever jamming up or sticking but I don’t want to use a really expensive printer just in case
Thank you for this video, I have never decoupaged and it has given me some confidence, I want to use a poster so was worried the paper would be too thick.
I just subscribed to your channel because I am starting to decoupage and your tutorials are very well made and informative. I messed up a coaster I was trying to make when I put decoupage over the napkin after it dried. (possibly because it was a one ply and thick?) I am glad there are more techniques to use so I can use those next time. I think I am going to try just spraying them with a topcoat instead of using the decoupage so they don't fall apart with the ones I already have done. Later I will try the iron on method as it seems so simple. It's going to be so much fun making Christmas presents for next year.
Fantastic information. Love when you do these tutorials. I save them and then pull up the video and watch again and use when I’m trying for the first time. How do you make them into signs?
Great techniques. Tried the standard one but had trouble with wrinkling up. Applying mod pudge and ironing and the water method are new. Surely going to try
