"I don't know of any successful haters"
Very profound words there. I'll remember that 👌
"Anything that strays from the norm tends to get hated on" 🙌 your motivational ramble at the end was everything! Thank you 💚
Yes I agree!
Agreed!
I really need this right now. Thank you for these tips. ☺️
Goodluck girlfriend! If you have any questions I'd love to try to help with your video journey
This is one of the best videos on the subject, honestly. Loved that you mentioned meditation to center yourself to get clear on your message and be present rather than worrying about what others will think in the future.
You helped me grow my channels and get better at UA-cam!
3:00 Knowing the one point is key 🔑
These are such great tips.
It's true your confidence is there in your videos.
I also use the HONEST Framework I've created to help me structure my videos.
I draw it out on a A3 paper and place it on the wall behind my camera. This keeps me organised and structured on what I'm saying. I get more confidence using this. 😊
Hi Hayden
Thank you so much for this.
I started a channel, and I never felt so self concious. But I know this is a battle that I need to win!
Another important thing for confidence on camera is practicing in front of a mirror 🪞. It works
I’m exactly like that girl from the beginning. I have everything ready. Thumbnails done. I even went to school for radio and was very confident at voicing.
For some reason being on camera. Or even doing just voicing for myself is so hard. I’ve been trying to make myself look good for the past couple days. And it’s like I don’t care ...
I’m gonna try meditating then recording. Thank you
I’m going to watch this again and again until it’s the message is stuck in my head thank you 🙌
thank you so much for this! You give people like me the courage and confidence.
I am always having so much trouble and awkwardness with trying to speak to a camera.
All of the points you mentioned sounded all too familiar and can relate to it 100%
Your motivational speech at the end was so on point too! Thank you
How's your video journey going?
This video was suggested because I've been watching a very new (but very good) channel with similar content, but you're an Aussie who speaks the truth! So rare! (I say that as an Aussie who doesn't like many Aussie YT channels haha).
I just love this dude, could listen to him for hours
Thanks Hayden. I will definitely start meditating asap. It was the biggest take away from your video!
How are your videos coming along?
Thank you sooo sooo much for making this video! I’m super new to UA-cam but don’t want to hold back from fear and watching and listening to the encouraging videos from successful people like you is so great and makes me feel so much more confident to keep going and get better rather than give up! Appreciate it!!!
I have 40 videos on my channel and 200 subscribers. Still I don't feel confident yet! It really takes lots of practice. I am getting better day by day.
Now you have 28.6 k within a year you've improved a lot, practice really maketh a man perfect 👌
@@marialisban6361 so he lost 2k within 4 months...
@@IceTeaElias WTF 😂😂
I rly love the last part of your speech! You’re amazing ☺️

Love the idea of having photo of a friend, this will help me.
Okay this was just SUPER AMAZING !
Hayden! THANKS! You've given me a TON of VALUABLE information! Yeah!
Exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the tips. It will be helpful in my startup for UA-cam channel.
Thank you! I needed this so badly.
Thanks! I’m going to start my journey!
First time I seen this video, even though it's 4 years old, this video has helped me and will be relevant for the forceable future. Love your content mate.
I’m glad man. Much love!
I'm going for it! I've been publishing a short video every day on Instagram for about a week. It feels incredibly awkward and I'm having tons of trouble just speaking, but I want to be able to do this, so I'm pressing on. I won't quit for a while either, screw what people think!
Thank you so much for all theses tips, I get a bit nervous. I have learnt so much from this video thank you.
Good job on this topic, Hayden. Being in front of a camera can be intimidating at first but practice makes progress!
That was very nice of you suggesting meditation. As a yoga teacher I heard you saying exact words that I use while teaching meditation. Keep doing it and also motivating your viewers to do so. All the best!
Thank you for the tips! Great video!
Excellent video! Thanks for the tips Hayden!
Thanks for sharing! Great information 👍🏾
The motivation speech was on point. thanks for making the vid

Epic video brother! Thanks for the tips, got a lot out of it.
Very Useful. Thanks Hayden
you are an inspiration
My couple videos were super awkward! But people leaving 1-2 comments boosted my self esteem (: and I’m ready to go back and fully commit to making content
Stellar video, broski! I'm working on putting these tips into practice.
Thank you! Great video 👍
Hey Hayden well done mate , such good valuable information thank you so much
I realllly loved watching this. Def got my attention throughly. Great and awesome video. 👍 keep it up 😊
If you have any more questions while shooting video I'd be happy to answer :)
i respect this thank you!
i have been embarrassed cause my family is talking about my tarot practice! It is my new little baby channel and its hard lol oh well! I guess thats helpful to know that my first couple videos are done I try to make more every month but the care I have had of being ghosted by my whole family and some so called friends it gets in my head too far sometimes and slows me down from being grounded enough to channel the type of messages I expect my viewers to count on from me. I want to give my best quality so I go slower because of that.
Good job ! I think i will be struggling a bit more when I will start, but this won't stop me. Thank you for the advices!
Great advice man, thanks.
great great great! Thanks vor this vid! I like your easy way of explaining natural things..
Thank you! This helped me so much
This is an older video but I thank you for the help! Just getting started with my channel and did my first single player game commentary the other night. MOST AWKWARD feeling ever! Lol playing with friends has always been so much easier but I think that this video and the practice I put into it will help me get further! Thanks!
You are AMAZING, thank you so much for sharing your advice. So much of your message resonated with me!
Completely agree. Awesome and super helpful video! Hope this can help me get more comfortable with my camera so that I can start making more content. Thanks!
Great advice! Exactly what I was hoping to find x
This video was really helpfull. Thank you!👍
Wow what a legend. I just went out to flinders today in cape schank and was just taking some footage and walking on the beach talking to the camera. As I was talking to the camera I could literally feel myself thinking about how I probably don’t sound natural and how it’s weird to talk to the camera. And I edited the video later. It was pretty much a no topic video just saying whatever came to my head as I walked up and down the beach just to see how editing was gonna go so I can at least start doing something. But this video helps a lot because I’m nervous about talking to the camera in public and how that’s gonna feel. But I’m hoping to just get through it and eventually get to a charasmatic stage of filming in public where everyone just kind of respects what I’m doing because they can sense that I’m secure with myself.
I am so happy to hear your words. You just gave me a boost.
WOW!! Meditation and Living in the now! Very wise. Thumbs up and subbed. :D 👍
Thanks so much for this Hayden, I honestly I needed to hear this.
You got this girl! If any questions come up while you shoot, feel free to msg me :)
Olivia Gudaniec thank you hunny I might do just that!
I really needed to hear this
broh

wow this helped so much. this is exactly what i needed to hear. thank you for this.
If you have any more video questions I'd love to help you
Good f***ing job mate! Couldn't of said it better!
Awesome man love it 😍
Hayden
I like the picture Idea behind the camera very smart! if I get stuck I will try that.
I am in the middle of putting my channel together my driving force is I have to do this! I have no choice!
Over time I am confident this will enhance my way of life for my wife and my self.
Going into retirement in about 10 years I need this to carry us into that, so yes I have no choice I will have to make this work.
Yes the trolls are out there they pop up in reply to my comments totally ignore them do not give them opportunity to inforce their own little pathetic agenda on someone's else's platform. All very good advice and helpfull, look forward to your next gig. Thank You
I really appreciate what you had to say in this video thank you 🙏🏽
This helped a lot, thank you!
Brilliant tips!
Great help. Love your content 👋
So hitting home about the criticism and talking behind your back about you. I have had this all of my life. I am also an introvert, (with moments of being extrovert,) so talking on camera can be frustrating. I have had people I know, (not friends, since I really don't have any 'real' friends,) review some of my videos and all I got was negative criticism, never constructive. I have been doing this for a few years and it never seems to get easier. I have to be "in the mood" and "right mindset" in order to do a video.
Just started out , this video really helped ALOT. Thanks man ! SUBSCRIBED!
It's monday and I just watch this video thank you. Let's crush it!
Thank you so much very good advise. Will try next time
love the advice you gave at the near end of the video.
Im stuck in that phase not being able to talk to the camera well. I gotta push outta of it. Thanks man
Keep trying! Send your family video replies, get on snap chat, use IG stories... remember if you don't like it you don't have to keep it up there. But having some videos to reference what you like and don't like...that allows you to be able to make adjustments :)
Thank you hayden❤️ i love the tips number 3, it really help me so much
Keep pushing out content! you got this
Olivia Gudaniec thank you! Need support from you more!❤️
Thank youuuuuuu!!! It will help me alot with my channel! 😁👏
Awesome.. thanks for sharing this video!
Your video really helped me.
First video will go live this Sunday and I'm just constantly considering deleting it and refilming it just because I don't feel like myself when I talk to the camera lol hence why I'm watching your video! Great tips!
Best video ive seen on this topic, thank you. I needed to hear this, almost didn't post my video today.
Raw Lion I’m so scared to post a video but I want to sooooooo bad I went and bought a $1000 camera and everything but i feel so funny talkin to the camera and hearing myself is horrid to me 😩😩😩
This was a very helpful video! thank you man!
You can do it Michael!
This video will single handedly save my channel. I’m getting a lot of subs and views (like wtf is happening???) but I am NOT happy with my content. I’m not being myself- And I want desperately to be able to do that. This inspired me. Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Respect man! I'm just trying to be in front on the camera and to express my knowledge. I know that I'm not a camera guy, but I try to do my best! Keep creating great videos! Cheers from Germany! :)
This was very helpful and motivated me to take that risk. Thank you so much!
I love this video!!
Thank you for this
I put up my first video Just yesterday! I’m so glad I found this video!
Hopefully my next one will be better
Thanks man for this tip
my teacher gave us a project, and it was vlogging, you can guess who'll be failing her subjext this year.
You'll obviously be failing English too
I had to record a poem in public. It was in a park on a not so busy day. After I was satisfied with the video, a woman later asked if I was an actor.
In this context, I hated vlogging, but if I can own the frame I create and not worry about the viewer or those in earshot, I might like it more. I prefer a place where no one can see you or hear you.
@@cian4380 i think she has written subject as subjext.. can you tell me what are other mistakes
Let me know if you have any questions. I'm sure I can help!
So did you pass?
Thank you for this! I’m just starting out after a long time and I’m filming a video and I keep comparing myself to bigger youtubers with better camera presence. This video has really helped I’m going to try my best to just practice being myself on camera and relaxing
Really motivational 😍
Thanks Hayden.. I needed that boost.
This video was sooo enlightening!!
Great tips Hayden. I have impressions prepared with mediation. I have without:.. big difference HUGE 👌 awesome tip
This is GOLD
I will try applying this when recording my next video. Thank you very much!
