Speaking from the 71 years of my age, I want to say that you have excellent potential as a photographer and content creator. It's refreshing to see this much potential in someone so young. With a bit of maturity under your belt you are going to be a star. That I'm certain of. I will be following along with you on your channel. I know good things are coming. With just a bit of polish, you will shine bright.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support! It means a lot to hear this from someone with your experience, and I truly appreciate your encouragement. I’m excited and always looking to keep growing and improving, and I’d love to learn from you along the way! I’m so grateful to have you following my journey :)
Your video randomly popped up in my recommendations, and I didn't expect to find a hidden gem! Your production quality is very good, and I hope you will find your viewers in this competitive niche. All the best!
Great video - well done young lady! One of the things I love most about photography is the constant opportunities for learning. If I ever got to a point where I felt I had nothing left to learn I would loose interest. Fortunately, after nearly 38 years of photography, I am learning more than ever. Young people like yourself who have such a well defined and well presented vision and who have clear knowledge and insight to share keep this pursuit vibratnt and enticing. Thanks for that!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I completely agree, there’s always something new to learn, and that’s what keeps it exciting for me too! I’d love to pick up a few tips from your 38 years of experience 😊
This video helped me a lot to upgrade my look about photography especially for not caring about breaking some neccesary rules so much respect for ur effort and keep it up you gain my sub
Solid tips, thanks! I especially loved how you were quick on your feet and made that first photo even better. A moment of peace in the middle of chaos. Now it perfectly captures that emotion.
Cute video. Easy to follow for beginners. I also LOVE! the part about breaking the rules. I NEVER FOLLOW OLD and OUTDATED RULES! It's better to be CREATIVE than MECHANICAL! NEW subscriber. Keep going!
Yo I just came across this video and omg why arent there more photography channels like yours?? I absolutely love this video and please continue making this high quality content. so underrated
Yoo, thanks so much for the love! I’m really happy you enjoyed the video, there’s plenty more to come :D My editing process isn’t anything toooo crazy, but I am thinking of making a video about it soon, so stay tuned for that!
- 00:09 📸 Storytelling in photography is key; a single photo can convey a thousand words, adding depth and meaning to images. - 00:39 🖼️ Early in his journey, the creator focused more on technical aspects like composition and sharpness rather than storytelling. - 01:15 😌 Capturing authentic emotions, especially in natural moments, makes photos more impactful and relatable. - 01:58 🧍 Body language, not just facial expressions, can effectively convey emotion in photography. - 02:56 🚶 Shooting mid-action adds movement and energy, making photos feel more alive and dynamic. - 04:05 🔍 Paying attention to subtle details, even seemingly minor ones, enhances storytelling by adding depth to photos. - 06:38 🎥 Exploring different angles (close-ups, wide shots) helps tell a fuller story and gives creative flexibility. - 07:43 🛠️ Breaking traditional photography rules can lead to more creative and meaningful storytelling. - 08:25 🖌 Post-processing is essential for reinforcing the mood and story, but it's important not to over-edit to maintain authenticity.
Wow, what a tips . Thank you for sharing. I really enjoyed your easy explanations. And how you explain it. I just start learning photography not long ago. I like to catch natural moments too. Because natural moments give more story than it looks. And it never comes again. Oh, I like the scene when the birds walking when you tell your stuff, also your expression to it.
Thank you so much for watching and the kind words! It’s awesome that you’re getting into photography 🙌 and I completely agree, catching those natural moments makes a photo so special!
Your video was a breath of fresh air! I'm considering the Sigma 28-70 for its compactness and versatility to avoid changing lenses on my A7Cii. Have you noticed any focus issues while filming yourself with this older lens? Are you also in Australia? Where did you buy it? Cheeers
Thank you! The Sigma 28-70 has been amazing for me, I haven’t had any issues with it at all. And yes, I’m based in Australia! I bought mine on eBay from a seller called ‘dcxpert’ :)
@AdelineJohanna okSigma 28 70, it will be as there's no other option at a smaller size and price. It seems that Dcpert is the only one selling Sigmas at a reasonable price. I'll certainly give it a look. Thanks!
Great tips! Enjoyed this one 😁 i liked the tip on details. I try to think about adding certain details that give people more things to be curious about or ask questions so they look at a photo even longer. Instead of giving them a straightforward shot, add some breadcrumbs for people to develop their own interpretations. 😁
Thank you heaps! I’m glad you enjoyed it! And for sure, I really love your approach to adding those extra details! They can definitely add so much character to a photo and keep people engaged 😊
I just retired so I thought I would give photography a try. I just bought the Sony A7RV, Sony 85mm GM 2 f/1.4 and the Sony 35mm GM f/1.4 Whenever I start a new hobby I hate upgrading later

It's wonderful to hear photographers talking about story instead of gear! Haha! Nice presentation, all the best with your art!

Capturing emotion is critical!! It's what separates a photograph from a snapshot. You made a great video with this idea. Well done!
