What gasket did you use from the turbo to the down pipe? My invidia did not come with a gasket for that side. Or no gasket? did you get a Bad exhaust leak?
you made uninstalling the intercooler way harder than it needs to be.. you could have just undone the 1 clamp holding the Y pipe to the turbo, instead of undoing the bolts underneath the intercooler...
You do not have any boost creep issues with that catless DP set up? I have the same DP and I have boost creep issues but I’m going to get my turbo ported from SoCal porting, near Los Angeles, to eliminate the boost creep issue.
ITS SAFE!!!!!!! As long as you don't put on an intake you can run a downpipe and the COBB ots stage 2 tune. It's when people put an intake on and the downpipe with the tune an run lean due to the 2015+ sti fuel system limitations.

Could have saved you long time just to take the inter cooler and y pipe off in one all you have to do is take off the turbo cuppler and take it off in one piece instead of taking the y pipe off

You do realize to take off the intercooler all you had to do was u screw off the y pipe coupler and wiggle it off? Now you need to replace the gaskets on the y pipe.
Jason Bourne to be exact, the car has a MAF sensor which detects how much air is going in, which tells the ECU how much fuel to inject. Subies have bypass valves which keeps the air inside. A blowoff valve will vent the air to atmosphere, which results in too much fuel and not enough air

so a catted dp is ok? I guess that explains why I never had any problems with my 07 STI engine with a catted dp, spt intake, and COBB OTS stage 2 map.

Can you pass inspection with a DP? Or no? Just asking for my buddy who has an STi with that same downpipe and his inspection is going to be up soon.

Yeah you need a tune. You don’t really need injectors and fuel pump. Would it help yes but not absolutely necessary

u need the Cobb access port.
Stay away from launching the car! If you don’t know how to “set up” the launch control you shouldn’t even try to launch the car.
