ESO 2024 NEWS inc GOLD ROAD, Skill Customizing & OFFICIAL CINEMATIC TRAILER

- FINALLY The Elder Scrolls Online 2024 roadmap has been revealed including a look at the upcoming chapter for update 42, GOLD ROAD! In this chapter we see a follow on story from Necrom seeking out a forgotten Daedric Prince named Ithelia!
She has broken out of her prison and has no memory of WHY she was in there, HOW she got out and WHO she is! It's our job to find out!
This takes place in the West Weald above Reaper's march and below and bordering Cyrodiil and we are going back to SKINGRAD! We have not seen this place since 2006 in TES IV: OBlivion and we are finally getting to see what it was like BEFORE the version we all know. We will visit 3 unique environments within this biome which will span from Autumn forests, to dense jungle to barren rocky planes!
This new chapter also comes with something brand new to the Elder Scrolls Online! And it is NOT "Spell crafting". This is SCRIBING!
This new feature will allow you to unlock skills within all weapon skill lines and world skill lines to USE, however, with influence from Grimoire, Scribing and the use of special INKS, we will be able to CUSTOMIZE these skills to our taste and playstyle!
Along side this is a new Styling system where we will be able to VISUALLY change the look of existing skills in ESO! For example, wall of elements could be purple, Trap beast could be orange, and so much more!
As well as the new chapter we have brief spoiler about the upcoming year including two new dungeons, a housing feature and an entire patch dedicated to PVP which is NOT connected to current Cyrodiil at all! That's right, an NEW player vs player feature!
This is an exciting time for the Elder Scrolls Online along side of it's 10 year anniversary, and now is the PERFECT time to JOIN or REVISIT the world of Tamriel!

I really hope we get to see a scribing ability for stuff like werewolf and vampires. Could be really cool to expand on that and also would be awesome to have more options right now a werewolf is pretty limited with its abilities not much diversity.
Vamps feel this way too. It was fun for a moment before they nerfed their greymoor powers.
Simmering frenzy used to stack forever and it was way more intense, risky and volatile, but totally incredibly worth it when my executes were doing 75k damage on a single target (that's a lot for me)
Oblivion feelings, especially with the music
My only wish is increase item limit for housing.
We need all 600 and 700 slot homes to be 1,000 slots minimum.
Rift gave us 2,500 slots. That was a good number for anyone building a castle.
Admittedly, I don't care about Scribbing at all. Happy for others since that means longevity for ESO.
If I want good combat, ESO is not what comes to mind. I rather play something else.
But housing? ESO housing is phenomenal.

All my characters would look incredible with capes. Even those half ones from Dragons Dogma would be cool. Literally anything. I'm sick of shoulders.

Companions should have been released with and tied into the main story. All i really saw was how much they would monetize all the extra stuff.
I'm thinking the new pvp feature is going to be a tournament. 1v1 bracket style with like 36 people at a time or something.
Hope they have a necromancer companion....

i enjoy this game but one thing that bothers me is that fact that in these trailers, and gameplay they show us. Characters are walking slow or running at normal speed and and I enjoy that, but in game every one is running at insane speeds across maps and towns lol totally changed the vibe.
I hope this pvp stuff is good

Wouldn’t make sense. This is the middle of the second era, Jyggalag only appears at the end of an era.
@@Ravens_Nest10 they bring up a forgotten prince, make a new one for necrom and continuing in gold road.
They could bring up others, who still do not know who ruled deadlight.
I am just upset there are no hints at other forgotten princes.
My only wish is that the pvp update fixed the bugs in cyro instead of creating another IC when IC is pretty dead population wise. Unable to bar swap, getting stuck in the combat bug, unable to sprint even out of combat, getting stuck in the pools of a keep and being unable to even move but you can't be killed, mount bugging out when you leave too many gates too quickly, desyncing skills like blood mist or elusive mist into leap to crash your opponents out of the server... i mean keep 🤣, etc. The rest looks promising tho.
We got 1 bow skill for the 10 year
There are others, only this one was shown that's all. We also got new soul magic skill, they have described it in the article dedicated to this system.
What's happening is a £60 dlc for the biggest version.
I can get Dragons dogma 2 cheaper than that.
Also BD3 is cheaper.
I even have ESO + and still have to pay for the dlc.
This might be the final straw as far as ESO goes
Same old stale chapter formula. This game is so bloated 😮💨
And what would you do to make it not stale? Too many people cry about stale all the time but when change do happen they cry about too much of a change or they do not like the change that happens.
I started this game 7 months ago and I find it to be everything I could hoped for after it's dismal release.
Hope they have a necromancer companion....
