For players with Werewolf / Vampire curse, please be advised that when using the Armory you want to SAVE a loadout with your active curse. If you swap to a loadout that does not have your curse saved, it will remove/cure the curse from your character. And you will have to go get the curse again.
j happened to a guild mate a few days ago, this shits real. After about 3 weeks playing, there are so many bugs. Most of them are not an issue, but it seems some have been around for a long time without any fix.
Happened to me... because I was a new player and purchased my curse.... Eso fixed the issue... reapplied the curse and then I saved it... It was a pain
Yes! The game doesn't bother to notify you in red anywhere that you're deleting the vampire or the werewolf using the armory. I've played final fantasy XIV for 10 years I played FF 11 for years I played elden ring etc and never seen some BS like the armories in ESO.
Dungeon and trials gear is always bound on pick up, it is only not bound while still available as an item you can trade with group members. after that timer runs out, it becomes bound.
With the armory, making new slots costs $15 (based on normal crown prices if buying only just enough for the armory slot, or one month’s eso+ sub) so it is not really worth it. A dungeon dlc costs the same amount. If you have two builds in the armory already just spend the gold to respec when you need to.
Was thinking the same. You are starting with only 2 slots or something like that and i won't spend another 15 bucks just to save some gold (something that isn't really a problem when playing on a regular base)
Another tip to help with leveling skills! You level up skills anytime you get experience from anywhere, not just from fights. So if you're doing daily quests, or traveling around picking up skyshards/wayshrines and finding new locations, that's a great time to equip skills you need to level up maybe for later but don't really want to use in fights yet. Also if you're going to do a lot of fishing, bring a companion or friends with you! Fishing in groups raises your chances of getting good stuff!
6:45 I'm so happy that I saw a video from you and others who also kept saying that you have to start research from the very beginning because the more traits you have, the more time the next trait research will take up until 1month (I think) So I didn't actually understood why and what the benefit was, but I did it anyway. And now I'm glad I did because now I start crafting much and I have researched so much that I have no problems. If I hadn't done it, I wouldn't be able to craft most things. So for all the new players, please start researching from the start. You'll thank him later!
Researching the last one, in each of the slots takes about 2 months. If you invest skill points in the correct place you can reduce this to one month. Also the are a few other ways to speed up research times as well.
I was thinking abt trying out ESO. Im not an MMO guy but this one looks like it could be a lot of fun, plus I love the ES universe. I was bouncing around on creators looking at vids on how to start up. Yours are the most clear, concise, and overall most helpful ive encountered. Really great job.
This is where I wished they would add more items that you can purchase with Seals of Endeavor. It would be awesome if you could purchase armory slots. Seals keep you in game, engaged, which makes the game world feel more alive, when you have more people playing. Maybe include more group activity for rewarding these.
I agree. Though personally I feel the weekly challenges are too easy and dailies are too hard. Probably because it’s a week, but I always have the weekly done and sometimes struggle to get the dailies done.
Bro the system is literally cancer of this game. Having daily/weekly activities for pennies is the worst thing to have in a mmo. It was made for casual cockroaches who cant afford anything. And I dont mean $ but the time spent to grind something sell it for gold and buy crowns. Since the whole game is made around daily/weekly you cant farm anything anyways because its not worth the time + on pc its doomed anyways because of bots so yeah. Fuck daily/weekly activities they shouldnt be there in the first place.
I decided to start doing daily random dungeons because of you and I’ve been leveling so much faster. Thank you for making things so easy to understand!
The biggest thing with researching is getting pieces with the Nirn trait. I’m lucky to be in one guild that has master crafters that will make a nirn piece that I can use just for research. Totally invaluable to have members like that otherwise it would take so much longer to get a Nirn piece.
@@Nightweaver1 If I am not fully wrong now, those were originally only available as trial loot. While the trait item itself comes from harvesting in Craglorn.
People always sell those at guild traders - so there is no shortage of nirnhoned traits on the market. But of course they will cost a few coins, seeing how the actual material to craft those is a rare drop from Craglorn. Another solution for this is to farm in Craglorn and offer the material to a crafter and do it for you for free. Researching it doesn't require for you to have the material. And these days there are drops of pieces with that trait in Craglorn from overland content too - or certain quests. Still is rare.
If you want that Sithis Bow but a better roll.... Yes, research is important and allows you to transmute.... But you can also abuse the Smart RNG system by NOT binding the Sithis Bow and continuing to farm until you DO get the trait you want.
@@TheHUEZOX No thats literally no work at all xd Have luck with only 20 trans crystals per day... If you are not already 6 years player with max currency and every single set piece perfected anyways...

@@TheHUEZOX Bro you get 1 crystal after the first daily... Having 9 alts doing daily on every one of them is already a second job. If you are forced to have multiple alts in a game to grind mats/currency etc. the game is doomed. The system is overall very anti player. Instead of just making 5-10 crystals per vet dung run they have to keep these dialy/weekly shitty systems. For new players unexperienced doing max lv new char is already pain in the ass since they dont know so much and how to make it faster + getting starter build etc etc. At this point if you already have 9 alts ready to farm daily you are too deep and dont need any of these.
@@TurboGroszek1 I said you can do it, if youre really that desperate, no one is forcing you to do shit Perdonally I dont give a fuck about having the best possible gear. I just jump in, have some fun and then get out, crystals just pile up naturally

Yes! Nice that you mention the crafting build as well. I think that is the most neglected build in different guides. So many videos about all kinds of dd, tank and healer builds, but very few about crafting. I have three slots in my armoury: solo, group and crafter. I only play one role in groups with my main but if I decide to spec into some other role I need to create a fourth one. But yes, especially in the beginning there just aren't enough skill points to max out crafting since that takes an enormous amount of skill points. Better to create a dedicated crafter build. My crafting build has mainly the green cp tree filled and offensive skills only enough for a one bar build, the rest are in crafting. Just enough offensive skills so you can keep wolves at bay but can't do dungeons or anything.
Apropos, a crafter/harvester build video would be nice. The important (green) cp allocation, some items like the Ring of the Wild Hunt, sets that increase speed, bare minimum for the offensive skills...
The skill and attribute reset tip is so appreciated. I originally bought the game back in 2014, played for a bit, quit, returned not long after. I have only known of using gold to reset stats, but this is very useful.
OMG i was just wondering this today as I am running a magicka nightblade build and I want to try out a stamina nightblade build as well and I did not know about the free armory system! THank you!
i watched so many tutorials before this one and u are the first to mention that i have to put the skill in my ar to get xp for that line or skill tree. thankyou
Great video as always. Question for you, I am relatively new my main is CP221 and I know some basic and intermediate things about the game, but I still have no idea how veteran players know what type of armor to wear for which class. For example I saw in your Archer/Ranger build video which I use for my main, you mention that the armor type for this stamina warden build should use medium armor, my question is why? Heavy armor provides the best spell and physical protection and I see no negative traits to use it even for a spellcaster. I have not seen any videos here on UA-cam discussing which classes should use light medium or heavy armor AND WHY. Could you please explain this for me. Thanks
Damn it, Hack. Where were you three months ago when I started playing this game?! I've wasted THOUSANDS of gold respec'ing to playtest different builds. Thanks for the tips!
Dude. I'm thinking, "Ooooh, 5 rookie mistakes huh? Sure sure." This mount speed upgrade is wild. And the armory? Yes, please. Didn't even make through the vid and had to go try this stuff out. Thanks much!
Hi. I really appreciate your videos and the information you provide! I have to let you know that “attribute” is both a noun and a verb. One pronounces the *verb* as you do. One pronounces the *noun* as though you were saying the word “at” at the beginning of the word.
biggest thing for the armoury station, save 1 template as vampire and the other as werewolf with no investment in them and when I don't want the vampire debuffs I just go werewolf as it doesn't actually have downsides outside of being transformed
Wow just watch the bit about the armoury thing. I got it but never used yet, and yes I spend in game money to respec skills. Just now realised how powerful and useful that thing is. I am still trying to learn the game ( I am a casual gamer) and been playing just few months. Very useful video thanks.
Great video, I have started watching all your videos, love them! One of the most important tips I wish I knew was Mundus Stones. I always build my class based off guides like your, however, for a lvl 1 toon, getting The Steed Mundus Stone (vice an end game like The Theft) is way more valuable. Then as mentioned here, at lvl 10 add another 30% from the assault line, on top of the speed you get from daily riding skills. This will help you zip across the world and do everything faster. Another tip I wish I did YEARS ago, when I first started playing, is build one each STAM & MAG of each class, and park them by a riding skill trainer. I started doing this now, and since I am not actively playing them, I am working on carrying capacity first (and using them as bank toons) then moving on to riding speed, so they are faster when I do want to level them. Thanks again for your videos, and keep them up man!
Another thing about leveling skills - the more you use them in combat, the faster those skills will level. So if you're leveling a tank in dungeons, you're going to level Pierce *super* quickly if you're just taunting like normal because each application of it applies a 15 second taunt and you can also taunt mobs along the way.
Great tips even if you feel like you've played forever. I will definitely be using the armoury station tip for my EU console crafter since it's got a lot fewer skill points. Thank you!
Here’s my rookie mistake. Maxed all crafting. Have never crafted anything to wear. Never enchanted anything. Never clicked on a portion. Never ate food. But maxed all the skills to do this.
Adam, you are killing me man, my note pad is almost full of your knowledge here. Keep it up it’s great and I Love it. But yes I’m rusty on a lot of this but, have got in the routine of doing some as well.
I havent played in almost 10 years and some of this stuff is what we dreamed of back then 😊 was it a real hassle back in the day juggling sets and having to respec if you wanted to go dps to healer or tank
jsut got back from a super long hiatus... An'd in these few weeks, especialy with the event, I respecced so many charachters. And I made misstakes that I needed to respecc again... And I could have changed things around by just visiting a home...? Fuck my life, that would have been so good... Well, better late than ever. Now I can atleast make my charachters actually able to become combat ready from their crafting setup. Thanks so much for sharing this!
You Sir are going to get back into playing this game again...which for some damn reason I've kept active and paying for all these years...but I did that also for everquest.
Dude you need to get endorsements from a beard company of some sort. I'm a fellow beard wearing dude. Respect! And thanks for all the vids. I've been watching for a while now. Great job Brah! Keep it up man ✌😄 ~LazarusRevives xbox/na Officer in Tamazon.
Im coming from wow and I wonder how to install add-ons in eso. Do you have a video about that as informative as this one? ^^ loved this video, helped me very much to better understand some things!
"this is a rookie mistake that people do not do" 😂 - then it's not a mistake right? 😅 obviously he meant to say - "this is a mistake that many rookies/people do"
Should have told people to research enough traits on first character so you can make 5 pieces of Adept Rider set for every character after that..... +30% movement on foot and horse, and the new characters only have to get to the nearest bank as soon as they're created
Cyrodiil quest can be shorter than that. Just choose "skip training" and you're done. literally few seconds job. 1 min if you don't know your footing around and have to look for the npc for delivery .
What HUD addon was he using at the beginning of the video? I wanted something just like vanilla hud but just has damage number and adds numbers onto the health/stamina/magicka bar without moving where it is.
Hey there. Watching your new video and you mentioned that you must bind gear. I thought if you seconded the gear this would bind it automatically. Am I correct about this? Please let me know thank you 👍
I play on Xbox series s - I reached champion level 500 with all gold meta gear and then quit for few motnhs now I’m back to play again before the new expansion launch! Are there any major changes coming with the new expansion or just new content?
ive join the cyrodiil campaign and got the assault continous attack and upgrade the movement of my mount. thanks for sharing it, man, but.... now how can i leave the campaign and continue my previous story? (ive never had any intention to join pvp at all)
oh! i found it, i must visit the wayshrine then HOLD THE BUTTON to see the entire world map!!! from there just select one unlocked wayshrine outside of cyrodiil. man...this was very frustrating, the quest itself is only 15-20 minutes but i spent almost two hours looking for a wayout
I’m not sure what the point of mentioning binding items is. It actually does auto bind after decinstruction, or selling. The only way it won’t is if you give it away to other traders. And you say that if it’s not bound, you could get a duplicate drop (in your case sithis bow). But adding something to your stickerbook doesn’t stop that item from dropping, so what did you mean by that?
So it's best to use one skill per category rather than stacking one skill line on the bar? even though you said it's faster to level a skill line like that.
8:50 By accident I went to the wrong NPC and chose ''that I don't need training'' and the quest ended! Didn't read through the dialog, pressed fast and it was over... Is it possible somehow to do the quest again and get that 30% mount speed?
did they change the collected rng since this video because I just started recently and I'm pretty sure I've gotten more than one of a set piece before I had the whole set.
I don't think binding equipment works with overland or other gear set pieces. I keep getting briarheart and plaguebreak bows even tho I use those consistently in my builds so I know they are bound. I believe this only applies to dungeon boss drops. I could be wrong tho. I'm on console.
@@BeKind1Love I thought this to be the case ... but I don't ahve a full set of either .... Maybe it's a bug? I'll confirm if I have full sets this evening.
You don't need to have completed the set for the drop to become random again. Each different event will drop a certain piece, so for example world bosses drop weapons, chest, legs and head pieces, delve bosses drop waist and feet pieces etc. So if you already have all of the waist and feet items from all of the overland sets and you kill a delve boss you will get a random waist or feet item since you already have them all, while if you kill a world boss and don't have all of the weapons you will get a weapon which you are missing.
Hmm, so that armory point is quite confusing, when u say equip a new build, it will reset, k got that, but then when I spend points in that build, then won't it end up making that slot not blank?
Just doing the intro pvp quest gets you to level 2, when you can get the Vigor skill. Continous Attack is at level 3, which means you have to actually do some pvp (yuck!).
Made some big mistakes when I first started deleted all the trash cause didn't know to sell it and thought it was just trash I know better now I'm a healer-tank

I didn’t think to upgrade their carry capacity, always did that last on Xbox so I brought that mindset over to pc but I need more space on pc
As a returning player this is all interesting, I didn't know about smart rng or the armory
I’m new to ESO, your vids have been a major help!
Thank you!
I played a ton of ESO before the armory station and didn’t know bout it… that was enough for a thumbs up alone
Another thing about leveling skills - the more you use them in combat, the faster those skills will level. So if you're leveling a tank in dungeons, you're going to level Pierce *super* quickly if you're just taunting like normal because each application of it applies a 15 second taunt and you can also taunt mobs along the way.
4:06 that was a smooth transition haha
I didn't know about the smart RNG! That makes me feel so much happier about grinding out dungeons. Thanks for the tips!
The mount speed boost alone is worth so much thanks😊
Great video! The research system for crafting just makes me not want to do any crafting at all.
at-trib-butes
Thanks man. I mean thanks BRAH. I never knew the armory was free in crown shop. I just assumed you had to pay for it. thanks again.
Great tips even if you feel like you've played forever. I will definitely be using the armoury station tip for my EU console crafter since it's got a lot fewer skill points. Thank you!
Mate some bloody good tips there in this video, thanks so much for making this as I’m just getting into ESO for the first time!
Here’s my rookie mistake.
Maxed all crafting. Have never crafted anything to wear.
Never enchanted anything.
Never clicked on a portion.
Never ate food.
But maxed all the skills to do this.
"Huh, this is cool. I should already know nearly everything-"
Ends up not knowing 4 of the 5 tips provided.
".. . .."
Subscribed lmao.
Not knowing about the mount speed increase has left me baffled.
Adam, you are killing me man, my note pad is almost full of your knowledge here.
Keep it up it’s great and I Love it.
But yes I’m rusty on a lot of this but, have got in the routine of doing some as well.
If you deconstructed an item without binding it will it not go to the collection book?
Yes deconstruct will go to collections, i hate that tab lol
I havent played in almost 10 years and some of this stuff is what we dreamed of back then 😊 was it a real hassle back in the day juggling sets and having to respec if you wanted to go dps to healer or tank
Holy hell the Armory Station is a game changer
Thank you!
I didn't know about the mount speed. Thanks!
jsut got back from a super long hiatus...
Didn't even know about the armory station, gonna use our guild one now, thanks 👍
i cant believe i miss this video. Thank you so much for this !!!
Cp 800 here an never heard about the 30% riding speed thing 😂 thanks!
Dude you need to get endorsements from a beard company of some sort. I'm a fellow beard wearing dude. Respect! And thanks for all the vids. I've been watching for a while now. Great job Brah! Keep it up man ✌😄
~LazarusRevives xbox/na Officer in Tamazon.
Thank you!
Im coming from wow and I wonder how to install add-ons in eso. Do you have a video about that as informative as this one? ^^ loved this video, helped me very much to better understand some things!
That crafting tip is super useful 🤙🏻
"this is a rookie mistake that people do not do" 😂 - then it's not a mistake right? 😅
obviously he meant to say - "this is a mistake that many rookies/people do"
Should have told people to research enough traits on first character so you can make 5 pieces of Adept Rider set for every character after that..... +30% movement on foot and horse, and the new characters only have to get to the nearest bank as soon as they're created
Right off the bat tip #1 was great.
Cyrodiil quest can be shorter than that. Just choose "skip training" and you're done. literally few seconds job. 1 min if you don't know your footing around and have to look for the npc for delivery .
Does the skills on a bar gaining experience work with both bars on only whichever bar is used at that time?
These tips I can describe in one word: ingenious.
What HUD addon was he using at the beginning of the video? I wanted something just like vanilla hud but just has damage number and adds numbers onto the health/stamina/magicka bar without moving where it is.
A rookie mistake is spending in mount speed. Start with capacity then stamina and then speed
Hey there. Watching your new video and you mentioned that you must bind gear. I thought if you seconded the gear this would bind it automatically. Am I correct about this? Please let me know thank you 👍
Do you mean equip or sell, because both of those bind yes.
I’m kinda beginner to eso. what is that outfit (or appearance). looks incredible
Just started playing. Thanks for the tips!
I play on Xbox series s - I reached champion level 500 with all gold meta gear and then quit for few motnhs now I’m back to play again before the new expansion launch! Are there any major changes coming with the new expansion or just new content?
Look up high isle, new gear, mythics etc. Lots of vids on them
I thought my woodworking hireling was absolutely useless until I opened my mailbox lol
ive join the cyrodiil campaign and got the assault continous attack and upgrade the movement of my mount. thanks for sharing it, man, but.... now how can i leave the campaign and continue my previous story? (ive never had any intention to join pvp at all)
oh! i found it, i must visit the wayshrine then HOLD THE BUTTON to see the entire world map!!! from there just select one unlocked wayshrine outside of cyrodiil.
man...this was very frustrating, the quest itself is only 15-20 minutes but i spent almost two hours looking for a wayout
played this game for a while but im not rly a mmo person and its just so complicated lol. theres so much to learn and it can feel really frustrating
What's with the health, magic, and stamina baars? is that a mod or an in game option I missed?
Good stuff. I am playing FF14 right now, but I might try ESO as well. This will help
Ok so i didnt know about the welcome to cyrodile quest, when i did it auti completed, did i still get the horse buff? It doesnt feel much faster
armory station also deletes your vampire status. kinda pita to reaquire.
Can you get the 30% mount speed increase after Lv50?
Yes
Good tips for beginners as well as veterans
did they change the collected rng since this video because I just started recently and I'm pretty sure I've gotten more than one of a set piece before I had the whole set.
The armory station.. over 100k gold spent this month respecing points
Subbed for this! Super awesome thank you!
I don't think binding equipment works with overland or other gear set pieces. I keep getting briarheart and plaguebreak bows even tho I use those consistently in my builds so I know they are bound. I believe this only applies to dungeon boss drops. I could be wrong tho. I'm on console.
Overland uses curated set collections, if you have the full set it resets to random drops.
@@BeKind1Love I thought this to be the case ... but I don't ahve a full set of either .... Maybe it's a bug? I'll confirm if I have full sets this evening.
I can confirm it does work in overland, but im on PC, dunno about consoles
You don't need to have completed the set for the drop to become random again. Each different event will drop a certain piece, so for example world bosses drop weapons, chest, legs and head pieces, delve bosses drop waist and feet pieces etc. So if you already have all of the waist and feet items from all of the overland sets and you kill a delve boss you will get a random waist or feet item since you already have them all, while if you kill a world boss and don't have all of the weapons you will get a weapon which you are missing.
@@zerog2391 This makes a lot of sense.
Hmm, so that armory point is quite confusing, when u say equip a new build, it will reset, k got that, but then when I spend points in that build, then won't it end up making that slot not blank?
Funny I have just did the mount speed today!
You enunciate really well.
Don't bind items you want to grind specific traits for! Terrible mistake to make if you like getting divines traits for free without transmuting!!!!
Just doing the intro pvp quest gets you to level 2, when you can get the Vigor skill. Continous Attack is at level 3, which means you have to actually do some pvp (yuck!).
the tutorial will get you to level 3
Same for me only got me to level 2.
@@kevincasmer6153 don't skip siege training
Made some big mistakes when I first started deleted all the trash cause didn't know to sell it and thought it was just trash I know better now I'm a healer-tank
