The level/amount of builds hoonigan has done this year is honestly insane. Shoutout Suppy, Alex, and Dan. (And the rest of the crew obviously)
Not just the amount, but the quality too!
The bail out boys
Facts
THAT! A N D .... the editing , the SHOP, the amount of $ flowing in & out is all purdy darn impressive! UPGRADED WALL - WALL 👌
Blown head gasket
'its a SEMA car, we are lucky if we have a drive shaft' - absolute gold!
The "chemistry" between Suppy and Alex is hilarious. Oh and the build is great too guys, keep it up!
totally agreesd, love that crazy dynamic 🤣
Right? I really enjoy seeing those two working together hahaha
So true. No matter how much they bash on each other it’s all love. Just like real family would do. What a great work environment.
You can tell their homies in real life. I think the dynamic makes their show! Hilarious!
I had to hit that like button for 2 reasons. it was at 419 likes..I think I will!!
The older I get, the more I love Suppy.
As a child we ask, "Why is suppy always upset?" As an adult we ask, "Why is hert always so happy?"
7:10 "Dude, it's too f***ing early for this s***." Same, Suppy... same.
@@King_Immanuel those two are like Squidward and Spongebob ngl
I get that 🤣
@@King_Immanuel 🤣🤣
I love how the GM designers are detail oriented (and self-aware) enough to include that OE orange peel in the paint in the rendering. EVERY 3rd gen I saw back in the day had that paint flaw from the factory.
I had an 89" IROC. Black. T-tops. No orange peel. Instead the black paint faded and left giant white patches. THAT was the common flaw.
@@KingSMW My 88 RS was likely repainted a few times before I ever owned it because it looked like glass , but my old 84 Z28 was missing most of the clear coat . Chevy's paint may not have been super high quality , but compared to everything else their rust prevention was light years better . I've owned a 77 an 84 a 88 and never drive but still have a 95 , and none of them ever had any rust issues .
That's not an intentional choice, it's an artifact from the 3d scanning process. It's basically the same thing as noise in digital pictures, but in three dimensions.
Also, orange peel isn't a flaw, it's just a natural feature of the paint process. You can polish it out, but that's more expensive and less durable.
That's just a default setting. They're using the vRed "Simple UI" which is a clear indicator that they are just using the programs asset manager materials in comparison to building and modifying materials; orange peel in the program looks a lot different. As others have stated, that effect is from the body being scan data.
Look at any new car today. Orange peeled
"It looks so stupid cuz your face is in it!" Dan you straight up murdered him with words! :D
Alex has made a very entertaining and informative addition to the build videos. Hoonigan are on fire right now!
Danger Dan straight up disrespecting poor Suppy lmao
Watching Suppy and Alex work and argue with each other is basically like watching my brain when I work on my own car 🤣🤣
🤣🤣
yeah except i am only suppy and end up throwing shit
Cheers, you slags!! This is the most productive I think I’ve ever seen you guys! Keep it up and stay frosty, yeah?
Edit* I love how much you can tell Alex is so much more comfortable on camera now!
*The entire Hoonigan fleet is getting an overhaul with Ken’s partnership with Audi, and the massive influx of new builds.*
Burnyard bashed are gonna be a LOT more exciting now
@@anthonymuncey4537 Brians Quattro looks amazing!
@@Outland9000 scottos quattro is my favorite car in all of the hoonigan crew
Alex & Suppy working together is hilarious... would be impossible to get work done around those two.
Saw the finished build on a SEMA roundup yesterday, looks amazing
im so jealous. When I went to sema no one cool was there, but now everyone I watch on youtube is there. Got any pics you can post on IMGUR or something?
@@JJiG I could link it but I don't want to steal Hooni's thunder here.
They deserve the reveal, they built it.
@@charlesshamseldin9555 respect buddy
Have you seen the finished pictures of Scotto's audi going around Facebook? Thing looks insane
Yeah it’s kinda ridiculous that they don’t get to actually reveal it. I wish they would produce that body kit for the public
Can never get enough of Alex and Suppy!! True professionals 😂🔥
Hoonigan and chevy collaboration is fire!!!! 2 of my favorite brands
A whole lot has changed since I was doing this back in the 1970's - forced induction, electronics, nth-level tolerances and metallurgy - but, it seems, even today it's still a bunch of folks in a garage bleeding on the parts and solving the problems as the come up while stuffing big motors into small bodies and nobody gets along until it's done except they knew they were the team the whole time. Nothing new under the sun and I'm *so* happy that this is still true.
"I COULD HAVE USED DUCT TAPE AND BOOGERS!" -Suppy, 2021 lol 😆😂👍
"632 cubic inches - there's no third gen camaro driving around with that motor-"
me and every cleetus mcfarland subscriber remembering his 3rd gen camaro nicked "Toast" that he took to Australia for a burnout comp running a Blueprint 632 with a supercharger. (he did later on replace it with an engine built by Castlemaine Rod Shop, but still, he had one and drove it, even caught it on fire + blew it up. and while yes this is the first chevy performance one, its not the first ever 632 in a 3rd gen.)
He said this motor. As in this new crate motor that just came out. There’s been big cubic inch engines for a long time with aftermarket stuff.
@@NBSV1 yep this motor, that everyone has used via Dart etc it only counts now, because its a GM crate and not a "632 Big Block Chevy" thats been used by everyone from NRE mirror image setup to countless Restomods (at SEMA, and every other Custom Car building Show) of the last decade. The heads on this 632 say LSX, I wonder how close to being a AFR head?
@@NXT_LVL It still changes what it is once it's offered as a GM crate engine though. The parts were available and lots of other people have built a 632. But, they weren't offered as a drop in crate package from GM. It might just be semantics, but it's still true. It might even be assembled from all aftermarket parts. Doesn't change the fact that this is the first time GM has offered it as a crate engine.
just let them do there thing and shred some tires off with it
As always the video editing team does it again, your sense of humor always comes through and I laugh from start to finish. Keep it up! only thing I request is give Alex more time, that oke is hilarious.
Hoonigan is actively leveling up. Even since I joined on the bandwagon late in 2016, Hoonigan has gone from building sick ideas in small garages to legitimate OE endorsed and partnered builds. It's so cool to watch.
Building oe endorsed untested builds is nothing to brag about unless your a D rider eating up this b.s.
@@spensinthevalley3099 yeah like we all know these builds are going to be driven once and never be used again after
AFTERMARKET O.E
PFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTBWAHAHAHAHAHA
OXYMORONIC
Suppy just needs a hug. I’ve been trying to figure him out this whole time and that’s my hypothesis.
I almost died of laughter when I saw the blur edit at 4:37, when Alex put the bolt in the "hole". God tier editing!
bruh again at 9:47 when they put the steel drums over suppy
Hoonigan is taking over the world rn. The builds are getting fucking crazy. Plus I absolutely love Suppy and Alex working together. Keep it up everyone🤘
The cut to the steel drums got me, so random, I'm ded
lmao right there with you bro
This car right here. Hands down 1 of my favorite builds here. I'm ecstatic to see the finished car.
When all is set and done, and everyone returns back from Sema. We need to see Blower Donk vs Z28 race
Nice to see Suppy and Paul Giamatti blasting thru another dope project
I'm so damn geeked to see/hear this thing at the final build, bless up to Chevrolet Performance.
I have to watch these guys work on cars so I have motivation to work on mine lol
Its so nice to see a third gen get this much love. I always thought they were cool looking cars.
This may be my new favorite build you guys have done, great job to everyone involved!👏👏
So dope that y’all got to build this
Stepping their game up!! Now they can do a build.breakdown series on their own builds. :)
I'm oddly excited about this build from 3,000 miles away, livery and ground effects (🤣) look awesome!
Man, i just love that big companies are doing projects with hoonigan. They deserve all this recognition! Hoonigans get the right approach to building projects! They keep it funny, simple and realistic! Love u guys, keep it up!
The amount of man hours and craftmanship on this built and still having fun while they're doing it is PRICELESS
For those who cant wait, engine starts at 20:08
Thanks👍
But theres so much goodness beford then
Also 10:00 and 10:25
Thanks, i scolled down looking for this XD
When Suppy was banging the battery against the firewall, I was really expecting Gold Digger to start playing in the background 😂
Suppy is becoming a world class builder. It's pretty impressive what he is putting down. Steep learning curve yet he's is pushing boundries with that big ugly bump on his noggin. Keep it up Suppy!
Seeing Vin and Ron on that call was pretty cool honestly, I like seeing the boys be semi serious. Thats kinda cool, Keep it up guys this stuff keeps me sane on long days.
Yeah chevy did a great job with the livery
“We’re lucky we have a driveshaft”
Lol the shade suppy 😂#bluetoothdriveshaft
I hope this car finds its way to Horizon 5! Love third-gens
I love this series for not only the badass build, but the Video editing is hilarious. All around great series/channel.
never loved a camaro that much before, all the little adds are insane, livery's insane, the engine is pure gold, must be so nice to built a project like that
As a 3rd gen owner, I'd kill for this kit. I love the factory look of the car, and don't care for any kits on the market.... but this one! Is killer. Adds enough, but still maintains its appearance in the iconic 3rd gen form. That probably makes no sense 🤦♂️
honestly looks less like a kit and more like what could've just been the Z package from factory if they went a little wild
I seriously need/want this too
Alex: "What kind of clutch?"
Suppy: "It's an Action Twin Disc, very street-able, very nice."
Just moments later: Alex: "Maybe the people want to know why ......"
Suppy: "Nobody cares!" (never ever repeat your message!)
I work for Baer Brakes, and it's always so cool to see you guys using our stuff! Loving the build 🤙
I love everything about Hoonigan videos. Absolutely everything
"I could of used Ducktape and boogers"
-Suppy
elmers glue and scotch tape.
Bondo and wire hangers.
Thanks for sharing the video call. Cool
Suppy is simply amazing, he seems to really have come into his own recently. Absolutely fantastic episode.
I love the builds and the content these guys have been putting out all the little bits cut in and the cars themselves it's so sick
I would give my left pinky finger to be able to work with those guys.
Been working on cars since I was 15. And I've never seen a group of people who just love cars like the Hoonigan crew.
Much respect fellas! Can't wait to see the final build. 🤘⚔🇺🇲
2 Fabricators with different opinions and styles just clashing all day long ! Alex & Suppy love each other so much !
That design and bodykit is soooo good. Could be straight out a racing series
You boys work like a bunch of high school car enthusiast best friends that got older and all of a sudden had a ton of money to build cars together. The shit talking is top-notch ball breaking and i love it
Suppy and Alex are the BEST. MORE. PLEASE.
I really like the way Alex tries to be more informative! Very glad to see more of him on the channel, this trio is very cool. Would like to see Alex giving more of the old-school educational type stuff. Not just what brands but why, we do care! @Suppy
The quality of your content has been on point this year! Keep up the fantastic work! And yes, please build a life size RC car!!!!
So nice to see a Brazilian design in this project , shout out to Danilo Caldeira Rodrigues !! Cheers from Brazil !!
Wow. What a dream it would be to work with the Hoonigan crew. Congrats guys. Amazing build!
Suppy and Alex are quite possibly the sickest combo in cars
Wow. How cool of Chevy to work with you guys to such a degree. They gave you so many shouts on the body kit lol!
So awesome to see this beast at SEMA GM booth😃👍
Impressive build , one of many . Thank you for all the builds and videos
These episodes come in so clutch
Seeing that car at SEMA on IG, that was badass. Amazing job Hoonigan 👏👏👏
6:41 "Daniel, hurry up, stupid." I freaking love Suppy.
I never knew Paul Giamatti was so food at CAD and fabrication. I can't unsee this.
Everything about this video makes me happy
Love what you guys have done with that
Pretty cool. Can't deny it! Thanks for sharing!
Beastly project - best episode ever.
Can't wait to see this beast driving man
10:35 my favorite part of the entire build so far!!! LOL
Ken block I needs this brother!
I'm so jealous of this build. The day I heard about the 632 I instantly wanted one to put in my 83 Z28. I guess I'll just live vicariously through ya'll.
Can't wait to see this thing rolling!!! 🤍🖤🤍🖤🤍
Just know guys I look forward everyday to watch your videos, and EVERY Monday for THIS VS THAT
That is just awesome! the chemistry between those two...
I love Suppy more and more every episode. DUCT TAPE AND BOOGERS!
I love the Suppy approach to advertising
Suppy and Alex just railing on each other is f***ing gold
This thing is NUTS. Love that you're beating the crap out of the Aperta too!
This build is super sick. The Zac edit was so cool! The shredditors' attention to details is amazing. PS That roofless Lambo is getting some mileage put into it. Nice.
Awesome work on this car Camaro owners approve! 🤟
I can't wait to see this car complete
Lots of good skills from suppys team mate
One of the best builds yet
There is no better duo than Suppy and Alex
Suppy and Alex are a power duo
That body kit is so clean. I was never the biggest fan of the 3rd gen Camaro's looks but that body kit just makes it look so good!
Editing on point as always 😎
Suppy is a god damned American hero. By far the best guy on the cast.
Yo whoever edits these videos, your an absoloute beast. I love you
These two dudes are the best!
The Owen Juice clip was perfect 👌
I don't want to say that I was happy Suppy crushed his thumb, but to see someone like him do that makes me feel better about all my crushed thumbs and fingers
Hellyeah keep the daily content coming
The build looks awesome already!
