Imagine trying to ruin someone's career, only to find out you are that someone.
People hate on her because spending all this time to cook everything from scratch for your kids is only possible if you are extremely wealthy. This is impossible for the vast majority of americans. Most people understand homemade things are better quality but couldnt achieve this even if they wanted to.
I don’t think its because americans expect people to buy things premade, i think people are pissed that they can’t live like her. Not everyone can spend 8 hours cooking during the day while a nanny watches their kids.
I couldn’t care less about the entire situation (doesnt effect me), i just wrote this to explain some reasons why people might be hating.
But why does that bother people?

Or maybe they're just feeling pressured to be like that? Or, even more likely, they wish they could and it's kind of striking a soft/weak place for them and they're feeling inferior.

It's pretty clear from following this that people get agitated because having such a luxurious amount of free time that you can make homemade oreos every day, while a nanny takes care of the kids is a quietly classist flex. It makes people feel inferior because she is NOT transparent about how she has so much time and people get frustrated with themselves that they're not able to accomplish as much. They have to take care of their kids and cook and shop and budget while nara gets her instacart from erewhon and the nanny is doing all the housework.

Its pretty obvious she’s well off but that in no way lets random strangers feel entitled to her personal life. She’s literally just cooking from scratch, not preaching about her background or telling people how to live their lives. If she was a tradwife who was pushing an online course or shaming other women there would be an argument there. But she isn’t doing that either. People being jealous or feeling attacked should look at their own problems instead of constant what-about-me-ism.

I think the concept of "Are they even going to want it anymore in 2 hours?" is maybe a good example of how we are going the wrong way with concepts like gratification. I hate to side with Lady Pretention from We're Not Like Other People Manner, but people who think things should happen too fast will suffer.
I mean sure, but making your toddlers wait hours for lunch while you make bread from scratch is not a good look. That's not instant gratification or something, that's feeding your kids when they're hungry.

People who are methodical don't just do that, nobody assumes that except people who don't cook. It takes like 3 assumptions based on what little info has been given to get to that point where you are thinking this about that person.
