next time, never give the scammer ANY money, but drag everything out as long as possible, while pretending you're interested. it's a great way to mess with them and waste their time :)

I will say, in the witchcraft community, terms like "black magic" "dark magic" were used to discriminate against what was seen as "less civilized" forms of magic according to European witches of the time and using terms like that is usually frowned upon by at least the witches in my circle

Generally I associate the terms black/dark magic to be that sort of "forbidden" magic, like love spells or killing spells, is there anything actually like that in the witchcraft community? If so, is there a specific term for it or is it just called forbidden magic?
@@demetriam2408 generally speaking, many believe you should not hex or curse others due to the law of three (what you cast will return to you threefold) but not all practices follow this and witchcraft/paganism is a very diverse community!!
EDIT: I forgot to include that memory things or spells that affect consent are generally frowned upon.
It was more Christians that came up with the term than witches. It arose at a time when people would not often self-id as witches. But it was heavily used in colonization

I think the thing I hate about these scammers most is how they're targeting desperate people and folks in a bad place. breakups and infertility are such emotional issues, and these scammers are taking advantage of that to get a quick buck.

Anyone who practices witchcraft knows love spells are NOT to be messed with without potential backfire, too :( Forcing someone to stay with you strips them of their free will and there's many horror stories from sloppy/desperate/manipulative people who tried to do them, only to end up getting abused/stalked and regretting it.

You can tell he’s not the real deal. He used the outdated terms for the type of magic there is. There is some of us that do offer services at a price but they don’t seek out people on tiktok like these people seem to. I personally know a few who do make some income from their practice but in a sense of a reading or cord cutting spells but they still put their love and time into them and don’t charge anywhere near the prices nick was told.

Lol seeing u freak out over work REHMIT is low key so funny. My mom uses that to send money to the Philippines. It basically just converts dollars into pesos and puts it directly in the other persons bank account. The only thing that sucks abt it is prolly the fees for sending the actual money.

I’m pagan myself, have done a handful of rituals and what not over the last decade or so, and people like these scammers piss me off so much man.
One told someone I know that they had a curse on them, and the only way to cure it was to buy this holy water blessed over the grave of some saint in Canada (???). All it would cost her is a whole $400 or some shit.
I told her “shit I’ll do it for free. They were taking you for a ride, but if you are worried about it, I’ll pop on over and do a cleaning ritual for ya.”
I don’t know anyone who would charge such absurd prices online for things like that. I hate it.

As someone who practices witchcraft, I find it SUPER CONCERNING that the spell the second man offered involved memory wiping, which is considered to be disrespectful and violating in most magick communities and practices. Someone's thoughts, memories, and feelings are sacred and tampering with those without someone's consent isn't something you should be endorsing, even as a scammer... Just over all, gross.

If he wanted to, he could've sent a simple video and went on to the next customer. I think he sensed that he could milk some more money out of Nick.
no he definitely didn’t, he wanted to say someone did something to the friendship like black magic so he could take more money to “remove it” to “better it”
And in the middle the ritual would go awry so the doctor would do it for free this time, ALL of it with his own money EXCEPT there's this extra other super rare ingredient that he needs and although he's bought the other ingredients, he needs to buy the new one which is more expensive that the previous ones like 300 or something but as a regular customer the store cut the doctor a deal at 250 and he needs Nick to pay at least 200 out of the total so they can that strong ass curse off of him. It keeps going for as long as you want it

yea i think it’s just practice. my parents (mother especially) have broken english and can be difficult to understand if you haven’t met them before, but i can understand them perfectly fine since i’m used to it. it gets easier to pick up on context and speech patterns.

For real. I bought a spell once from my local apothecary and they had like price ranges but it was like 35ish dollars. Also it worked so I’d trust that price range in the future. Also helped me learn how to do the spell and like what everything meant so in theory I could do similar spells with different things :)

Also from what I do know about GENUINE practice, usually spells like this aren't done if consent of everyone involved and effected by it isn't given.
You wouldn't do a love spell on someone who isn't aware or consenting, and I assume that would carry over to a fight with a friend/ended friendship as well. Consent in any type of relationship work, friendship or otherwise, is important.
