Thank you for this recipe!! It’s my first try in my new Ninja XL and I was a little intimidated at first but your step by step made it so simple! These drumsticks came out PERFECT!! and I was surprised how tender they were!!
Thank you for this. I just tried it and they are delicious.
Scott, I just tried this and it was fantastic how crispy and juicy the drumsticks were.
Thanks for sharing.
Great to hear!
It looks really good Scott.
The combination of the heat and steam keeps the meat nice and moist. Very little shrinkage too
👍🤤😀 Great video.
Thanks 👍
Looks Delicious! Can’t wait to try thabks
Great video Scott thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Trying it tonight tysm!
Thank you 😊
These turned out beautifully. Just needed to drop the temp a but because the outside got cooked too fast.
I like your videos
looking good!!
Thanks for the visit
I appreciate the recipes, i have the same one.
Glad you like them!
HEB is the best!
PAM original spray is the only one that doesn't build up a sticky dark residue over time.
I love it!
Wow! Look at the price of those chicken drumsticks! I sure which they still cost the same! And are you sure those are 'chicken' drumsticks and not turkey!? 🤣 They are huge! Thank you so much for the help! Gonna try it tonight!
Sorry for delay lol...Everything's bigger in Texas :)
@@ScottCooks No worries! Yeah I actually lived in Mission, TX for about 6 months! The home of Tom Landry! Everything was named after him there! 🤣
2:30 excuse me what model is this exactly? because i just got my ninja foodie fd203 and i didnt get no basket :/ only a "cook and crisp plate"
Mine didnt come with that basket either, but i got the 6.5 quart instead of the 8 quart
Which one is better, the Foodie or the Speedi one?
can the drumsticks be stood up to avoid layering ??
Don't see why not! I'll give that a try next time
Just wanted to clarify: is it a total of 25 min at 400deg?
One of the comments above had it running for an extra 12 min, or is that 12min the half way point?
It was 25 mins total time. Flip at 12 mins. Sorry for any confusion. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the clarification! That’s what I figured from the video. These turned out great 👍 I’ll use this recipe from now on. Thank you :)
Spot on. Important though, you do not 'touch the bone' with the thermometer. That gives a false reading. All the best and sorry if dozens have said this.
I brought back the other foodi today and bought this one. Made the drumsticks tonight. Thanks to your recipe they were awesome! I was wondering do you have to clean the smart lid after ea use? I love your channel. Husband was happy. :) First home cooked meal
Now going to try veggies
no I don't clean after each use. Really depends on what I'm cooking.
I dont have steam and crispy option i have other one
Can this be done with frozen chicken legs?
Yes I normally use frozen. Depending on amount of legs just adjust pressure time a little
4.15$ for marinated drumsticks in Texas huh. Just paid 12$ for regular non marinated in Massachusetts
only 4 dollars, Man chicken drumsticks here is like 8 -10
We just got a pack of 20 for 1.19 at Sam's
you sound like mark normand
Mine doesn’t have a steam crisp mode
Ahh old school! Just pressure and then air fry...
@@ScottCookspressure for how long and then air fry for how long as well? Thank you Scott. I have the Ninja foodi 9in1 and it has the steam option separate from the air crisp
Look at the price ! FJB !
Mine don't have the steam crisp it just as the steam bake and steam meals can you help me please thanks
You more likely have a different version ninja. So you probably have the Air Crisp option and or the bake/roast option. Use the bake/roast option first then air crisp for the final cook. Hope that helps.
Thank you for this, I have to point out on the package, back in 2022 the price and now we are paying $12.00 to $18.00 bucks, and Biden said the inflation is under control, LMAO! Thanks again for this delicious yummy!!!
Food prices today are ridiculous!!!!
