i do mine the same way with the flour. doesn't need the egg or other liquid. flour and let it sit a few minutes the flour will stick really well. made some skinless, boneless thighs today from frozen. tossed in some flour, let it sit a bit then sprayed. preheated for about 10 minutes at 400 while i got the chicken and stuff ready. AC for 20-25 minutes in AC basket, didn't turn. perfect chicken.
Thanks for comparing the chicken. I did the same and followed your video. I was really going to send my Ninja Foodi back until I saw this video. Some of the other recipes I followed and burned my food. You had correct timing and a great description.
Girl, you got it "goin on," I am so glad I found you this morning, and you definitely know what you are doing. Thank you for making videos that take all the mystery out of using the AirFryer. This is the second of your videos I have watched this morning, and from now on you are my "go to" cook. Whoopee!
Thank you very much for taking your time to experiment on this for us. I enjoyed this video and I enjoyed you very much. You seem like a thoroughly delightful person. We need more people like you in this world. I look forward to watching all of your videos. I am cooking both of these today. The breaded for me and the unbreaded for my wife.
I just bought the Ninja 🥷 Foodie 6 in 1 2 dual zone air fryer. This thing rocks! The quality is apparent and it’s very quiet than what I’m used to. Plus, it doesn’t get as hot as other ones I’ve used, and tried. Check it. Have you tried a seasoned flour called Kentucky Kernel? This seasoned flour is worth trying. I use milk to soak my chicken for a little bit, then toss each piece of chicken into this flour, then set it to cook. After I consider it done to my liking, I baste the some chicken with some bbq sauce and some with I leave without. This Kentucky Kernel is it!!!! Try it, I’m sure you’ll like it.
Your a life saver! So happy I came across your channel....I tried my chicken on my Ninja and it came out soooo good!!!! Thank you so much!!! It was so good that I had to subscribe to your channel! Thanks again!
tbh, wasnt coming for chicken drumsticks was coming for chicken breasts, but this helped none the less and it was really pleasant to listen to. So thanks for this vid
Tampabruh so steps are: 1) coat chicken with flour / cornstarch mix 2) dip into egg wash 3) ? I normally do another coat of flour or panko. What’s your preference? 4) spray with oil 5) air fry!
Thank you for doing both at the same time. I'd really like the spice recipe you talked about. This is the first video I watched because I just got my Ninja Foodi, and I just subscribed.
Thank you for this video :). I was looking to see how I would air fry my chicken legs in the Ninja Foodi cooker I just got for Christmas and seems very simple :). Thank you!
You are dah bomb girl!! All the way from Alberta, Canada! Great recipe for this cold snowy day and my new dual zone Ninja air Fryer! First time watching you! I like your detailed instructions! Can wait to watch more! 😉thank you!
Really enjoyed your video, thank you! I just got the foodi grill so have been looking at recipes. I felt bad for you when you bit into those really hot legs. It can be pretty difficult to maintain and enjoy a bite when the food is so hot. You did it with grace!
I'm not on a diet although some people may say I should be, I myself like the ones with the flour. I would love to see a recipe where you dredge the drumsticks in egg then the flour . That's the best way I know to make real Fried chicken 😊. Thank you for your video. I just got the Ninja Foodi pro and I'm looking for some good recipes. 👍🏻
I just found your channel looking for help with my foodi. I am new so all of these tips are helpful. Please let me know if you also do more foodi recipes! Thanks for the info and help!!
Thanks for the video. Been looking for straight forward recipes without the sauces and spices, yours was perfect. My Ninja comes tomorrow so hopefully will be testing.
Thank you for sharing, I got the Ninja foodie for Xmas and been wanting to make fried chicken. I think I'll do the flour since I want more of fried crunchy taste.
I’m trying to figure out my air fryer (recipes/cooking comparisons etc...). I appreciate the video, anytime you can cook with less oil and still have it turn out great is a good thing.
I know its not the $ame thing but you just made me go and buy some chicken wigs girl ?! 😆 Im new to this Air cooking (chef over the stove) but let see if what youve taught brings may swag to a new level ?! 👍 Keep up the good work ! Also could you show a video on Barbaquing meat with making a total mess ? Yeah i kind of know thats impossible ?! 😆 Thanks !!!
Thanks! So you don't stress on the preheat? I'm a new foodi. Tried to use some shaken bake on boneless chicken tonight using avacado oil. Preheated and cooked at 390 for about 10 minutes w a flip and another 10 minutes and only one side was sort of crispy. Any idea what I did wrong? I did use A LOT of oil. Should I maybe use less? Also the sprayer I bought shoots a laser, even on "spray mode" so I just bought a Misto to try it out as per your reccy....Also, I love how you put the camera on you when you tried out the food. I've watched some vids where they cook the food but then leave the camera pointed at the food when they chomp in, it doesn't satisfy me! I need to see the cook eat it! Thanks, nice vid!
wooooo yaaassss baby you and John sold me on the foodie ! I'm not even getting the crisp lid, my instant post will be the resident rice cooker from now on 😂
It looks like we had the same thing in mind at the same time with the chicken 😊. I liked this comparison video. :) I'm new to using the air fryer since I just recently got mine.
I have a question, I tried frying chicken legs and thighs in the Ninja Foodi, well... the chicken stuck to the pan and the coating came off. I even sprayed the pan first. Any suggestions what I am doing wrong?? Could it be I had it too hot?? I used 400 degrees like you did but not the turn out I wanted. I am open any suggestions. Thank you -Deb
Hi Debbie. You may have too much flour on the chicken. I find that less coating is better in the air fryer so be sure to shake off any excess. Try an air fryer liner as well. They do a good job of keeping food from sticking and make clean up much easier. Here's a link on Amazon so you can check them out amzn.to/2LswOk7
I've watched all your videos and I'm still having a hard time deciding which one to get. I know u said u were giving one to your son. Which ninja foodi did u keep for yourself?
I'm wondering if you could add a little panko bread crumbs to the seasoned flour for a little extra crunch. I would also spray any white spots again, if there were any, when I checked and turned the chicken..
Just used my air fryer for the first time , I was scared! Thanks to your help I think I got I now❤️
Wonderful! Glad I could help

Thank you. I was going to bread my chicken today in oil pan and now I can just use my airfryer
tbh, wasnt coming for chicken drumsticks was coming for chicken breasts, but this helped none the less and it was really pleasant to listen to. So thanks for this vid
To get better results with breaded chicken add into your flour corn starch and dip your chicken into an egg wash! Guaranteed better results!
Tampabruh so steps are:
1) coat chicken with flour / cornstarch mix
2) dip into egg wash
3) ? I normally do another coat of flour or panko. What’s your preference?
4) spray with oil
5) air fry!
How much corn starch do you add to what amount of flour? I just got my ninja foodie and would like to use your method. Thanks so much.
2 parts flour and 1 parts corn starch!

FANTASTIC! I know you're going to make lots of delicious dishes in that Ninja Foodi! Thanks for watching!
I think it helps to prick your meats with a fork or knife so the heat sears through it as well.
Thank you for the tutorial! Amazing tips! Will try!
FANTASTIC! Thank you for watching!
Thank you for sharing, I got the Ninja foodie for Xmas and been wanting to make fried chicken. I think I'll do the flour since I want more of fried crunchy taste.

Omg fell in love with you in a instant!
Instead of using flour, I use baking powder and it makes it crunchy without drying it out
Great tip! I have and updated video using baking powder and cornstarch for a very crunchy result. Thanks for watching!
wooooo yaaassss baby you and John sold me on the foodie ! I'm not even getting the crisp lid, my instant post will be the resident rice cooker from now on 😂

Yay I agree do what you like.
I wonder about a little smoked Paperika on them???
Thanks!
How can I make breaded crispy fried chicken breasts in the Ninja Foodi?
so do i season the chicken first and then put it in flour? or just put the seasoning in the flour and if so how much?
It looks like we had the same thing in mind at the same time with the chicken 😊. I liked this comparison video. :) I'm new to using the air fryer since I just recently got mine.

Thank you so much for this video, my chicken came out great!
That chicken is really hot, you can see the steam.....
No Name my chicken burned the first time. Trial and errors here. 😢 Makes awesome fries.
I'm wondering if you could add a little panko bread crumbs to the seasoned flour for a little extra crunch. I would also spray any white spots again, if there were any, when I checked and turned the chicken..
Great video! Just came across you! Enjoyed you! New subbie!
Hi! Thank you so much for watching and subscribing!
What was the temperature you was shooting for?
